They have fairly new equipt and nice uniforms too. However they were in a hurry and I paid them not knowing that most of the stump was hiddden under the grinded wood chips meaning I needed another company to come out and finish the job

Fast, friendly, efficient! After Hurricane Milton, one of the properties I manage had some trees that were partially uprooted and were leaning diagonally towards two houses, and in a really tight spot. I had several companies come take a look and I’m so glad I chose Albert & Ellis. Jay had everything organized promptly and professionally. The crew showed up today, super nice & courteous, with all the right equipment and ready to work! They had the trees removed and the site cleaned up in no time flat. Highly recommended!

Jay and his team are a very well oiled machine. They are extremely well organized and thorough. The guy who did most of the cutting is a master at what he does. I would 100% recommend them and use them again, perhaps my yard will be the next project.

Such a great experience having Albert & Ellis Landscaping & Tree Service handle our various tree work (queen palm pruning, stump grinding, general pruning, and even cutting back some pesky bamboo!). These guys were very responsive and very reasonable with a quote. When they arrived, they were very professional, easy to work with, and I will definitely use them in the future. We tasked them with trimming back very overgrown palm trees that were between 40-50 feet.

Fantastic service at a good price:
I contacted Jay for post-Helene tree removal after getting his number from my neighbor. He showed up within 10 minutes to give us a quote. He came came by a couple days later and in under half a hour, he had perfectly removed a dead palm tree from my pergola and roof. He also took my big pile of storm debris that the city hadn’t picked up. On top of everything, Jay was a delightful combo of extremely nice and also professional/efficient. Highly recommend.

I received three quotes from tree trimmers to cut and remove trees from my back yard. The rear fence line of my property borders on a farm which had overgrown tree’s that were overhanging onto my property (above the bird cage of my pool). If there was a storm, I was worried that a falling tree limb would damage my pool cage and home. I was looking to obtain estimates to have the tree line reduced to 10 feet above the ground and anything that was cut was to be removed by the tree company (obviously).

Jay Harrold from Albert Ellis came and provided a quote (which wasn’t the lowest), and he left a positive impression with me at the time he provided the estimate. After receiving all quotes, Jay agreed to match a competitor’s quote to complete the job for $2,000.

What a mistake I made in hiring this vendor. The job was NOT completed and many of the tree limbs that they cut were not removed and left on both my property and on the farm in the back of my home. Some of the cut tree limbs actually fell onto the barb wire fence and damaged the fence line. Once the cut tree limbs started to die and I could see all the dead leaves, I realized even more just how much was left behind.

I mistakenly paid Albert Ellis the full $2,000 without providing a final inspection of their work.

I exchanged text messages with Jay Harrold and asked him to return to remove the tree limbs that he cut and didn’t remove. I wanted to give him the opportunity to finish the job before I posted a review of his work. I understand how important positive reviews are for a business and wanted to give him an opportunity to finish the job as we had agreed and if so, my review would be consistent with his return. Unfortunately, Jay Harrold told me that he would NOT be returning.

I have never asked to get anything more than what I paid for and merely wanted the project completed to the specification that were agreed upon. The job just looks really bad and unfinished. I would never recommend this company. I am even considering civil action against them.

Definitely recommend and will use again. Great price, trees removed same day, everything cleaned up. Job well done!!!

Jay and his crew were terrific! They arrived early, before I made it back from dropping my kids off, and they asked could they get started. Sure enough, when I arrived they were in full swing. They stopped to explain the process. Jay and his crew were were kind and professional. They were constantly working and got done in a timely manner. I have had Albert and Ellis remove two trees for me. The price was great and the work was great. During the removal of the second tree they scratched a fence but were more than willing to replace it. A great company.
