I highly recommend Albert & Ellis Landscaping. This is the second time we have hired them to trim our extremely tall palm trees that require a lift. They answer your calls quickly and arrive on time. They also do a quality job at a fair price and are a bunch of hard working all around nice guys. These are the before and after pictures.

I was getting my house ready for sale and couldn't reach my previous tree trimming company. So I looked up tree service companies on Thumbtack and saw the good reviews that Albert & Ellis had received.

I contacted them and promptly heard back from Jay, the owner/operator. He came by for an estimate, and was very professional. He followed up with a quote by email within a few hours that was very reasonable and I agreed to the quote.

His team then showed up 3 days later to do the job. They all had professional uniforms and impressive equipment. I had some tall palm trees and was also impressed at the extra precautions that they took, including securing the ladder at the location of the man doing the cutting, and a person holding the ladder down below.

They trimmed everything neatly, and took away all branches, seed pods and other debris from the job. They finished the job by cleaning off my pool deck with a leaf blower.

Everything was done neatly and efficiently, and if I need tree work done on my next house, I know who to call.

Had these guys cut down another tree and they did a good job but broke vinyl fence and still has not been fixed. It about 3-4 months. I also had the redo my irrigation system and definitely would not recommend them for that. Not a good job. It cost me over $700 and still making repairs.They cut the tree down and loaded to the truck in 5 hours. They clean and blew all the saw dust and shavings. Will use them again.

These men are professionals! Starting with an easy and reasonable quote, Albert & Ellis Landscaping and Tree Service went to work! This isn't the first time this crew has done work for me and it won't be the last! I highly recommend these guys for your landscaping and tree trimming needs. They communciate, they do great work, cleanup, and they're reasonable!

Working with Albert & Ellis landscaping was a delightful experience. From the first contact they were prompt with their response. On the date of service they arrived two hours earlier than expected and provided an ETA tracker which was great. I would definitely utilize them for future landscaping needs.

Jay and Crew did an excellent job removing a grand oak and 4 additional river oaks. They were always professional and timely. I highly recommend and appreciate them.

Jay and his crew was professional and fast. I had a few trees that needed removal and trimming. Also some stumps that needed to be grinded down. My property looks so much better and open now. I’ll definitely be hiring them for future tree services.

Jay has very responsive team, they provided prompt service at a fair price. They trimmed my trees and shrubs and ground down a old tree stump and also cleaned the debris and left my yard clean of trimmings. I would definitely use them again. I highly recommended their services to everyone. Me and my husband are very happy customers.

Extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with this company and their work. I would not recommend them, they do not take accountability along with a lack professionalism and no quality workmanship. In the wake of their work they ruined 5 of my sprinklers, created deep divots from machines in my back yard that were not fixed and leveled. Showed up with less materials than agreed on in the quote and needed leaving me to spend more money to fix and complete the job they agreed to do.

Jay came out to quote my property to resod my property with 1.5 pallets of grass, add 2 yards of limestone rock to my front area, and remove a few plants in my back yard. The week of the job he stated he did not have grass from his supplier and left me with no alternatives. I helped find a sod company for him to use even though that is his job with the company to find alternate suppliers for a job. (There were over 6 companies in my area.)

As a result of poor planning, the day of the job Jay showed up to the sod company and also expected to pick up yards of rock without calling to pick up rock there as well. They only had bagged rock which was $8 per bag vs calling ahead and having rock delivered at a cheaper price. He showed up with poor coordination and did not want to wait on a truck to arrive, called me saying he would like to "just cancel the job" after leaving and coming to speak to me he went back to the sod company then wanted to raise my quote over $800 but instead lowered the amount of rock needed for the job (from 2 yards to 1.2 yards) and did not take accountability for poor planning on his part. (All of this could have been pre arranged and is his job...)

His workers began demoing my grass and used a weed wacker to remove sections of grass in the front disregarding my sprinklers and damaging them. They received the grass late then just threw the grass onto the broken sprinklers covering them up and completely covered my French drains clogging them. They cut no holes in the grass for any working sprinklers and put no dirt/ manure under the fresh sod like standard protocol for putting grass down.

They then took a machine to the back yard to just drop and leave the remaining pallet of grass not demoed in the back yard for me to individually by hand move the grass squares even though he quoted and charged for a demo of the grass in the back as well.

He left the yard a disaster with parts of the ripped out plants scattered and not cleaned in the back yard and bed. They just took a chainsaw to a few plants and took out the big pieces.

The work was not done with quality workmanship, it was a thrown together job. They left the property a wreck in the back, damaged sprinklers in the back and front, did not use enough rock to cover all of the bed causing me to spend an additional $300 in rocks. I now have to spend over $1,500 to have a sprinkler company come to fix the irrigation system.

The sod I recommended was very green from Turf 1 but the workmanship and quality of this landscaping company is horrible.

The entire crew is very hard working, polite and professional. We met before the project discussed what need to be done and 30 minutes later I had their bid. The scheduling process was very easy and done on my phone. They communicated the day of the project letting me know they were on their way. They showed up earlier than the estimated start time and went right to work. They have nice equipment and are very professional. I highly recommend them and will be referring them to friends.

Jay came out to provide a quote. The price was very fair, so an appointment was set up for the next week. Jay and company came out today to remove a 50+ foot sycamore tree. The tree was situated between a shed, vinyl fence, concrete wall, and a pool enclosure. They removed the tree bit by bit without damaging any of the four obstacles. After the tree was cut all the debris was removed and the stump grinding complete the mulch was spread out to have a level surface. I could not be happier with their performance and care of our property. I highly recommend Albert & Ellis.
