So I’m coming off a bad experience with another vapor barrier company that essentially took me for 3k. After much research, I choose Vapor Barrier Pro and was honestly still a bit nervous due to my prior experience. I have to say, my experience was great with Oscar and his team. The work was professional and so was his team. Professional, courteous and attentive to detail. I did have one slight problem, but they were on it the next day and it was taken care of. I feel as though not only did they do outstanding work, but they’re going to back it up as well if there are any issues. I recommend Vapor Barrier Pro.

Oscar and his team worked hard for days to complete the job. Very open to inspections and questions about the process. Price was fair in this competitive market.

Oscar and his team took extremely good care of my senior mom's place. They installed NEW vapor barrier under the mobile home along with fixing plumbing leaks and redoing the A/C ducts. Then they installed NEW sub-flooring AND NEW Laminate flooring. This company was the ONLY business that physically came to the home to inspect it and gave a very reasonable price. I can't thank Oscar and his team enough for the quality work they did.

Highly recommend Oscar and his entire crew! Their work ethic, professionalism and most important their honesty. They replaced and repaired all of our vapor barrier, installation and our subfloor. My wife and I hired Mobile Home Vapor Barrier Pro LLC to repair our moisture barrier of our Mobile home in Port Charlotte Fl. After interviewing and talking with 3 different companies, we felt they were much more professional and trustworthy than the rest. We were so glad we chose them. The crew showed up on time and worked hard til completion. Oscar, Edwin and the crew went up and above to make sure our vapor barrier tear out and replacement was done correctly. Our home not only smells better but the air conditioner is running less with better efficiency!

Oscar and his crew did an outstanding job installing our vapor barrier. Very professional and thorough…. Also very careful to remove all trash and reinstall home surround back to original condition. Oscar and his crew did an exceptional job. They found one of my shower pans leaking, I bought the part and Paulo fixed it. Job sight was completely cleaned and looked better than when they arrived. Oscar and his crew replaced the moisture barrier on our manufactured home. In addition, they went above and beyond cleaning underneath and around areas where they worked and raised the air conditioner line on foam so it wasn’t lying on dirt. They put all new insulation underneath. They were friendly and very efficient, answering all of our concerns. Oscar saw things that were in need of attention that I am not sure other installers would have mentioned. They came 2 days after we had the quote. Oscar is coming back to do additional work that I mentioned once they were done at no extra charge. I highly recommend this company. In addition he is sending us photos of before and after.

Getting estimates for a Vapor Barrier was pretty intense and time consuming, so when I called Oscar and he showed up, I was pleased. I always wondered if the pictures I was shown were of my house, so looking at it live with Oscar was enlightening. Sadly for me … my job turned out to be a huge job. The vapor barrier was replaced and all new insulation and AC duct work was done and more … the guys were pleasant, efficient and cleaned up everything as they worked. Oscar is great and has a hard working crew.

Oscar and his crew installed a new vapor barrier under our manufactured home in Safety Harbor. They did an awesome job, they were on time, professional and courteous. All work was completed as stated on Oscar’s quote and done in a timely manner. Site was cleaned up after they were done, you wouldn’t have even known they were here. We highly recommend them.

Before I called Oscar at Mobile Home Vapor Barrier Pro I was scheduled to have the job done by another company (Freedom). That company failed to show up as scheduled (and didn't even bother to call) - on TWO different dates.
Not sure about you, but I hate wasting hours/days just because a company is too lazy/ inconsiderate to even bother calling to reschedule...

In contrast - Oscar came over the same day I called, and within just a couple of days the job was done! His crew showed up as scheduled and on time. They were friendly, polite and knowledgeable. They cleaned up after themselves and took their trash with them (pretty rare for construction people in my experience) .

Finally, It sure is nice to be able to speak to the owner directly - Oscar gave me his personal cell number - and he picked up every time I called. When was the last time you were able to quickly, easily speak to the person in charge - AND have their team execute as promised? So refreshing!

I called Mobile Home Vapor Barrier Pro to replace the insulation and vapor barrier under my manufactured home, and replace my tie downs. Oscar answered my call immediately and was able to come out the same day and give me a quote. In addition to the vapor barrier, he offered to do several other tasks at no extra charge. After some hurricane related flooding damaged the insulation and vapor barrier under our double wide manufactured home, we asked around our park for suggestions of who to hire to replace it. Mobile Home Vapor Barrier Pros, LLC. came highly recommended. We are not from this area originally, so the advice of our neighbors and friends was important to us in making a decision.
Before giving an estimate, Oscar and his team first inspected the crawl space thoroughly. They then gave us a very fair and thorough estimate. When working on our job, they removed some of the old insulation under our master bath. Oscar alerted us to the fact that the flooring there was not in good condition. A toilet leak had ruined the floor and a section of the flooring needed to be replaced. For some time, we kind of knew something was going on in that bathroom, so this news came as no surprise. He provided a good fair estimate for that repair also.
The reason this company gets 5 stars from us I can sum up in one word - advocacy. My husband and I have worked with many contractors on our old house in Ohio. This is the first time I can honestly say that the contractor advocated for us instead of just themselves. Every step of the way Oscar photographed everything he saw and everything he did. He gave us the option to choose the materials ourselves. He bought them and we reimbursed him. There was no mystery about materials or quality. He was also endlessly flexible regarding time and arrangements. He was very responsive to texts and phone calls - another quality that sets him and his team apart from typical contractors.
One part of our job required his team to clear debris from the crawl space. This debris included old brick from past skirting. When we learned how much there was, we asked if his team could build a new, better brick skirt on one side of our house, including adding a footer for the brick to stabilize it. I asked him to give us a quote. Again, the quote was very reasonable. So, we added the brick skirt to the job. Turns out we didn't have quite enough brick for the whole wall. So, Oscar hunted around and found a supplier that had some of the exact same brick found under our house. For free - he also pulled bricks from other projects that were looking to dispose of the same kind of bricks we needed. We love our brick skirt! It matches the bricking on the front of our house exactly.
In so many ways large and small, Oscar and this company worked so hard to please us and do what we asked. He also spent time with us discussing what was best for our home and our situation. He was communicative and responsive to our needs. I always felt he was looking out for us. He deserves high praise for his work and his professionalism. I highly recommend Oscar and his crew. The quote process was clear, the prices were very reasonable and the execution was excellent. Oscar answered all my questions throughout the process and kept me informed. I initially quoted to repair one area in my house and I ended up hiring their services for multiple areas. They were prompt, professional and got the job done. They didn’t leave trash everywhere or overtake my yard, street or driveway. Their staff communication was also great. They frequently walked me through the repairs and let me know what to expect. Extremely hardworking team. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I called and was quoted a price of 3800 to replace the insulation and vapor barrier under my home. After arrival Oscar stated that his partner misquoted, and the price would be 5000. He said he would split the difference at 4500, I agreed, the money was zelled to his girlfriends account, and the job was started. During the installation his crew broke a water pipe and knocked out power to one of my rooms. After the day without water they fixed the pipe as it was getting dark. I asked about the power, and showed him the breaker would not reset. He had a guy come the next day and he could not locate the problem but assured me he had a "more professional" guy that would come the next day, that could trace the lines and find the problem. Well that was a month ago, 7-2-25. I have called multiple times and left voice mails, and text without response. Oscar and his crew seemed professional and asked multiple times for me to leave a positive review, but its hard to when I am still without power in part of my house. The home was a new purchase and I have a inspection report from a month earlier showing all outlets and breakers were fine before the install.

After Hurricane Ian flooded the underneath of our mobile home we called Oscar he was recommended by LRE Foundation. He came out the next day. His guys showed up the next day ripped all of the wet ductwork and insulation out. The next day installed all new. The job was above what we expected. Cleaned up not only all the stuff blew under our house but also after themselves. Totally thankful. Everyone else pushed us out weeks for even a quote. Thank you Oscar and your crew.

Very pleased with the this company! After 5 other companies falling thru and not showing up, Oscar and Paulo showed up with their crew when they said they would, were very clean, and showed pictures of everything they did underneath the home. Highly recommend!

While they were very nice on the phone (both times we reached out for different problems), and though we were very much looking forward to them coming to give us an estimate for these, we never got any follow up. One Saturday we waited all afternoon for them to come. I left a detailed voicemail asking if everything was ok and no callback whatsoever. If they don't take customer inquiries seriously, I have concerns about them getting jobs completed also. We will be going with someone more responsive.

We were staying in a hotel while the renovation was underway, I asked if he could do an excellent job in a timely manner, They delivered. Our vapor barrier was replaced, some soft floor areas were fixed, they converted a couple of walls to drywall and placed laminate flooring throughout. Vapor Barrier Pro has an owner who keeps his word and gets the job done. His team of guys stayed late to finish the job. They are fast polite and know their stuff.
