My experience doing business with Steven was very positive. They surpassed my expectations of the job and I am convinced I made the right choice by hiring Hurricane Tree Specialists. We had a large oak tree that started to loose bark and appeared decaying in some spots. Steven assessed that at least half of the tree had to be cut to minimize the risk of it splitting down the middle. I agreed and the next morning they showed on time and did a thorough and very good job.
I recommend him a 100%.

Had several trees trimmed and one removed. Steven was always very responsive and very knowledgeable. He made sure they did exactly what we wanted and what he said they would do, and they cleaned up everything - yard looked better than before they started. Definitely recommend them.

I care about things being done right so I try to do everything myself but high tree work is beyond my scope. I am relieved to have found an arborist who does quality work. He checked for nests and made smart cuts, did not do unnecessary damage for the purpose of charging extra like I've seen others do. He is pleasant and takes care of trees.

Awesome job by the Hurricane Tree Specialist team. The crew showed up when they said they would. I had notified all the surrounding neighbors when the team would arrive and what they would be doing. They set up and waited until after 8 to start the saws. Steve, the owner, and his team has trimmed several of my trees and groomed our half acre over the last two years. Very professional company. Steve does what he says he's going to do, and leaves the work site cleaner than it was before. He is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend his company for all tree related work.

We consulted Professional Arborist Steven Braden about an exotic tree on our property, and he provided sound and reliable advice as to how it should be pruned and shaped. He and his crew arrived on time; pruned our tree in an effective and efficient manner; were courteous, and respectful of our property; and left our yard in pristine condition when they left. Steven was very professional. As an arborist, he explained both the health of my old oak and the pruning that needed to be done to enhance its beauty. His crew arrived on time and Stephen again explained in detail what he planned to do to improve the health and growth of my tree. All debris was cleared and I was very happy with the outcome. Steven Braden and his team from Hurricane Tree Specialists just completed a job at my house. My husband and I are thrilled with the work they did, which included having one very large, old pine tree removed, and three live oak trees trimmed in preparation for hurricane season.
We met with Steve twice, once to have him give us an estimate and then again a few days later when he and his crew came to do the work. Meeting one, Steve gave us his opinion of what needed to be done, which trees needed attention and which trees were fine to be left alone. Just this knowledge was invaluable to me, but given freely as part of his estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable about the condition of my trees, and did not try to oversell me. His professionalism along with the outstanding reviews I had seen on-line for his company were the deciding factors in our decisions to have him do the work and I am literally thrilled we did.
The work was done skillfully, efficiently and cheerfully. I add cheerfully because it was obvious that this group of men are a team that knows what they are doing and do it with joy and purpose. It is a testament to Steve to have such a fine crew.
The team arrived at the designated time. They skillfully took down the large pine tree with the precision of surgeons ,which was critical because it was very close to our house and an expensive fence. Next, they strategically trimmed the large live oak trees. While all of the cutting and trimming was taking place, other members of the team were cleaning up. When they finished and left, the yard looked amazing and the trees have never looked better! As I said, we are thrilled to have selected Hurricane Tree Specialists to take care of our trees. We highly recommend them.

Hurricane Tree Specialists are very professional and work in a very timely manner. Steven Braden and his crew did a wonderful job on showing up on time , the date that the job had been scheduled for. Before he quoted us on our tree work, he was very honest about which trees needed to be cut down and those that needed to be trimmed back. This in itself is a great quality because he doesn't recommend work that doesn't needed to be done. What we love about Steve is he a professional arborist which means he a tree surgeon and professional certified this quality in itself is very unique. This is fantastic because he has vast knowledge on trees and this important when having tree work completed because you just don't want hire anyone. The tree we had completely removed was a 100 ft soft Eerie tree and another dead tree on the fence line. Steve personally climbed the tree to remove it and what I love about his work and his company you actually get the person you hire. Sometimes you hire companies, but you never see the person who provided you the quote. This was very risky because the tree was soft and was above our home. Thank god Steve and Crew have such great knowledge because they took the tree down without any damage and did it in day. They were absolutely wonderful and we thank them for their service because if we had left the tree it would have fallen through our roof. We will be hiring Steve and his crew for the next phase in our tree work up front because he gives fair prices, he's on time, his crew and him are truly professionals, and he gets work done in a safe effective way. We could not ask for more from a tree specialist.

Steve has been our arborist for many years and in fact, he is the only person we trust to trim our trees. He is incredibly knowledgeable and very professional in his approach. We asked him to help to save our diseased oak tree and he did a beautiful job. All of of his crew are highly skilled and very polite.

I have been using Hurricane Tree Specialists for several years to maintain my trees. After Hurricanes Helene and Milton, I noted that my trees sustained less damage than my neighbors.

Because of the intensity of the storms, I contacted Hurricane Tree Specialists to perform a post-storm evaluation. They observed some branches in one of my oak trees that were broken off and just hanging in the tree. They also noted that two of my other oak trees seemed to be leaning a little bit more than before. They removed the broken limbs from the first tree, and we discussed the health and long-term maintenance of the dominant tree trunk. For the two-leaning trees, they cut back limbs to reduce the weight on the leeward side and opened up areas to allow more sunlight to stimulate growth in the interior of the canopy. They did a fantastic job, and I feel confident that my trees are being cared for appropriately.

Hurricane Tree Specialists are knowledgeable, professional, and hard working! They removed two trees and pruned 3 large oak trees. They chipped and removed the debris, and even cleaned off my roof! I have used them before and have always been very happy with their work. They know what they are doing!

Steve Braden and his staff have been taking care of our trees for many years now and am always delighted. Steve is concerned about taking care of the tree, taking off only what is necessary. Highly recommend his help, very easy to work with and a great team.

Steve has been my "go to" guy for any tree work my property needs for years. He is a talented arborist, with an innate understanding of what trees need to stay healthy, from roots to canopy. Tell him what you need and he will explain everything he is going to do in detail and why your trees will benefit. His work is careful and his crew are great. I highly recommend him. UPDATE 6/15/2023 - I had to take down a 60' pine in the back yard, so i called Steve. Another superb job. The crown of the tree overlapped into my neighbor's yard, and the tree itself was leaning towards another neighbor's house. He climbed up there (no bucket) and brought down the tree in a very controlled manner. I can't say it enough - he is fantastic at his job.

Meant to leave this review back in February when Steven and his crew came out to trim our old oaks after we bought the house, but life happened and it didn’t get done. But it pays to pay Hurricane Tree Specialists to trim your trees. Two major storms down and we still have all 8 of our oaks standing. Minor branches down but unlike our neighbors who’ve lost one or more each storm, we count ourselves very lucky that we found Steven and his crew, and will be calling on them for years to come and telling all of our friends!
