Put the Christmas tree up and plugged it in and the lights didn't come on. Call Brian. He came over later that day and had it fixed in a few minutes.

We called Brian about a major electrical repair, he came right over and saw what we needed done. Sent us an estimate we agreed on the price set an appointment. He and his workers showed up were courteous, caring cheerful, polite prompt efficient. They were quick to answer any questions we had. They will be the electricians we asked for. Anytime we need work done. We will highly recommend them to everyone we know and give them five stars for above and beyond professional work with an unrestricted positive endorsement. His prices were also better than we had from other electricians.

They got off to a rocky start with a scheduling issue, but the work they did was great and completely very quickly. There was even a follow up call to correct a small mistake and to check on the review. It’s difficult to hire contractors trades these days because of dependability. I would reuse Veterans First because they have good follow through and seem very concerned with customer service.

I called Bryan to investigate a power issue I was having, following a recent tropical storm. He returned my call within 15 minutes of leaving a message and was at my house within 1-1/2 hours. Bryan was able to quickly diagnose the problem and he took extra time to explain how it happened and what we could do to prevent it in the future. Bryan quickly restored power to my shed and well pump and provided me with a detailed estimate for the long term solution. Bryan returned approximately 24 hours later with his crew and knocked out the work efficiently and in a very professional manner. I won't bother calling anyone else for my future electrical work.

Brian and his sonarrived for a written estimate for FEMA. Most contractors run in the opposite directionbecause they think insurance pays more and the jobs come quicker. Not with these guys. Very considerate and polite. Answered my questions w/out hesitation. Was very comfortable having them in my home, and treated with nothing but respect. I felt compelled to share my experience with Bryan and staff at Veteran’s 1st Electric. I was seeking a second opinion regarding some electrical issues we were having with our home. My first “quote” from a large competitor was in excess of eight thousand dollars. Unsure if this was necessary, I quickly learned I almost paid for work that was not needed. Bryan diagnosed the issue and determined our equipment was fine and the issue was with the power coming from TECO. He literally saved me from getting scammed. I’ve always appreciated honesty and service. His company demonstrates both. I will always recommend Veteran’s 1st and will use them again when the need arises.

Honest, communicative, and responsive. I requested consultation/advice on setting up my home with a 18kw whole home portable generator. Bryan was extremely knowledgeable and proficient, and they provided an estimate in less than 24 hours. The estimate was very fair. The most important part is that these electricians are very responsive to customer needs, and provide solid advice and feedback. Furthermore, when I asked about running my tri-fuel generator off of my 120 gallon in-ground propane tank, they arranged for the plumbers to setup the propane feed; all included in the one estimate. That's rare these days, since many companies will tell you to hire a plumber. Instead, Veteran's 1st, made my project, THEIR project. And because of that, my whole-home power project was truly ready to run within 24 hours. I will continue to support and recommend these folks to friends and neighbors. Bryan replaced a very old and obsolete electrical panel at a home I was trying to sell. The old panel was uninsurable. Bryan also made some other upgrades and repairs in addition to this. I am adding to my original review after an actual power outage, the generator came on when the power went out and shut off right after power came on! Very happy with Veteran’s 1st Electric’s 26 kW Generac generator installation! Well done!
Brian is knowledgeable, competent and courteous. During the generator installation, we were out of electricity for only 20 minutes instead of 3+ hours as required by other contractors.
