Hicimos el cierre de la casa el 10 de agosto 2022 con la promesa de que KC Construction () iba a completar la reparación de los defectos encontrados en el “walk through” dentro de los 15 días posteriores al día de cierre. Después de enviar a varias personas a verificar los defectos de construcción y luego de varios intentos y excusas de parte del contratista, enviaron a una persona a corregir algunos defectos en la pintura del interior de la casa. Luego de eso, he hecho el acercamiento en varias ocasiones a Kelvin Castillo, los cuales no contestó hasta que no le informé que si no completaban las reparaciones iba a proceder legalmente en contra de KC Construction. El viernes 18 de noviembre de 2022, se presentó en la residencia Kelvin Castillo junto a otro empleado para comenzar la reparación del “driveway”, de las losas, entre otras cosas. Después de estar alrededor de 15 minutos en la casa dijo que se tenía que ir y que regresaría en 2 horas, pero nunca regresó. De acuerdo al contrato firmado, se supone que las reparaciones estuviesen completadas en o antes del 25 de agosto de 2022 y al día de hoy, 20 de noviembre de 2022 no han completado ni la mitad de lo que tenían que reparar. KC Construction es una compañía irresponsable, poco profesional, realiza trabajos de baja calidad y poco cooperativos a la hora de honrar la garantía. No contrate sus servicios a menos que quiera pagar para que realicen un trabajo nefasto.

Great Company, had them remodel my kitchen and bathrooms and a new roof. Employees were professional and courteous.

Roof shingles were damaged tried to call to get fixed, no one responds to email or phone messages.

Now I will have to pay someone else to fix.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They did my roof less than five years ago and I have warranty on it as per the contract. The roof is leaking and they keep saying they are going to come out and take a look but they haven't!!! It's been over a month!! This is not a good company and they do not do good quality work!!!

We have used KC Construction to remodel our kitchen, bathrooms and replace our floors in our previous home. We were pleased with the quality work they did and will be using them again in our new home! Can’t wait to see the final result!

Contacted KC to come out and make a repair on a warranted roof they installed. Communicated with Kelvin multiple times.He said someone was coming to make repairs. No one ever showed up and Kelvin stopped answering the phone. Really shady business practices. Stand behind your work and your warranty and stop screwing people over!

Does not honor warranty. Roof that is still under warranty has been leaking and he gave me the run around and stopped responding to calls and emails.

We closed the house on August 10, 2022 with the promise that KC Construction would complete the repair of the defects found in the walk through within 15 days of the closing day. After KC Construction sent several people to check the construction defects and after several attempts and excuses from KC Construction, they sent a person to correct some paint defects inside the house. After that, I have approached Kelvin Castillo on several occasions, to which he did not answer until I informed him that if they did not complete the repairs, I was going to take legal action against them. On Friday, November 18, 2022, Kelvin Castillo showed up at the residence along with another employee to begin repairing the driveway, the slabs, among other things. After being in the house for about 15 minutes he said that he had to go and that he would be back in 2 hours, but they never came back. According to the signed contract, the repairs are supposed to be completed on or before August 25, 2022 and as of today, November 20, 2022, they have not completed even half of what they had to repair. KC Construction is an irresponsible company, unprofessional, does poor quality work, and is uncooperative in honoring warranty. Stay away from them! Don't hire their services unless you want to pay to have them do a lousy job.

They identified a moisture issue in my bathroom and handled the remodel and updates professionally. Good service, fair pricing, and everything turned out great.

Roof was 13 years old- Company honored warranty and came out to fix the roof leak- on the same day I called them to report the leak! That is great service!!

I had KC Construction Do some remodeling in my kitchen and it came out amazing! They do great work, do as you ask and prices are very reasonable for the great work they do! The workers are great too and they go above n beyond to meet your expectations! I highly recommend them!!!

This guy and his company are the bomb Diggity, I don’t usually leave Google reviews, but this time I just had to I bought a house a while ago and it needed some heavy work. These guys came in they redid both of my bathrooms, my whole kitchen, cabinets countertops everything, did some great tile work and I eventually even got some of my flooring redone.

I had to get my roof reeroofed as well and they did that, I thought they did a great job! It looks great and the crew showed up and had it done in no time, they were super great guys too. The only thing was that it failed inspection at first but that’s to be expected and not an issue cause they were on top of it and got it resolved right away.

Recently remodeled my kitchen and reached out to Kelvin for a quote. From the very beginning, the price was extremely reasonable for the scope of work I wanted done. What really stood out, though, was his communication -- it was truly spectacular. Anytime I had a question or concern, Kelvin was quick to respond and always happy to help. The quality of the work was fantastic, and I honestly couldn't have chosen a better contractor for the job. Everything turned out better than I expected. KC Construction remodeled my house. From permitting to construction this Company thrives on quality and deliverables. The level of craftsmanship was second to none. The KC crew went beyond the call of duty during our inspections and through many unforeseen situations encountered once we performed the demolition. We had to modify the structure, redo all finishes, and install new equipment throughout the property. My experience was OUTSTANDING! We purchased a “fixer upper “ in January of 2023. We hired ResCom in April of 2023. We live in Ohio which made it a challenge to be more actively involved (on-site) with the day to day project work. Our intention was to renovate this home for our winter escape in retirement! The home was officially completed in June 2025 (final payment)….well over 2 years of time for a 1,440 square ft block home. Communication was a huge challenge with the contractor (Paul). The distance from our primary home in Ohio we felt made us a low priority in getting the job done timely. The work done was satisfactory …… and yesterday (3/24/26) our last repair of a defective installed window was completed. ‘Thank you’ to Dorothy for helping us finalize the small list of final repairs.We would also like to recognize Desi and Luigi as two very professional and conscientious team members!
Moral of the story… if you are not able to be local or in-person involved with a complicated renovation… ResCom may not be a good pick!
Sometimes it is the little things… for example, we had picked out pendant lights for over the kitchen island. We purchased the perfect accent lites for the kitchen only to arrive for a visit and find that they were never installed. The lights were immediately delivered by our daughter to the property and explained to the on-site person in charge but the electrician was never made aware of the plan. Canned light was installed instead. Also, we had specifically asked to keep the fireplace mantle for “nostalgia” to preserve the one and only piece from the original home…. The work team discarded it…. They were never informed to keep it.
We are now enjoying our winter retreat… in a nutshell, it came down to communication… we even experienced many scheduled calls and in person appointments that were no call/no show! Those frequent occurrences left us confused, frustrated and helpless and despite voicing our concerns they became almost routine for Paul.
