Tree reviews in Winter Park, Florida

Cut 3 major branches and trimmed bamboo. Did a great job with clean up!

Doug, his nephew and crew are very professional and will do a great job. They have done several homes in the neighborhood and they all are happy. I had 3 oak trees trimmed away from the home, some back neighbor’s overhanging tree trimmed, a tree cut away and 2 stump ground. All done professionally and grounds were left looking like no work was done because they thoroughly cleaned up after. They are licensed and insured and have equipment that help them do the work well and safely. The best tree service I have worked with and I have worked with several in the past.

I give this company and its employees 5 stars because I can’t give them 6! Wonderful, polite and top notch professionals. They are now my go-to tree services.

JDW team showed up and knocked it out of the park. I recommend JDW for all you landscaping needs and more. Very professional and trustworthy. Land clearing experts for sure.

Excellent work. On time, all work done above the expected level, left property clean and tidy. Truly professional team- Highly recommended!!!

Friendly, professional and on time.
Great communication and meet my expectations. They removed 2 trees approximately 50’ tall with precision in a tight area to avoid my house and the neighbors.

What could have been a 2 day job was 1 day for them as they had the right machines for the job.

Will definitely call them again when it’s time to do more work

Awesome crew and totally cleaned everything up! ZERO DRAMA beginning to end super cool crew and will not rip you off!

I can’t recommend JDW’s Tree & Land Services service highly enough! I have many old trees on my property and have used their services on multiple occasions. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, responsive, and efficient. I have a several large, aging trees dangerously close to my home, and their team handled the entire process with precision and care.

They are always on time, explain everything clearly, and take every safety precaution. The crew was skilled, courteous, and clearly experienced—watching them work was like watching a well-oiled machine in action. Within hours, the tree was down, the debris was cleared, and my yard looked even better than before they came!

What really stood out was their attention to detail. Not only did they remove the tree flawlessly, but they also cleaned up every branch, leaf, and wood chip. You'd never even know a 40-foot tree was there!

Doug and his team have also installed all of my fencing for me and as expected, they did and exceptional job. The installation has been strong enough to withstand Hurricane Milton and remains looking brand new!

If you’re looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and top-notch tree removal company, JDWOutdoor Tree and Land Services is absolutely the one to call. A+ service and peace of mind—worth every penny!

Doug and his professional crew came out today and did a great job again with trimming 8 palms, pruning crepe myrtles and a fig tree. They started right up, cleaned up and made me happy! Thank you JDW OUTDOORS! I'll be calling them again.

Great haircut and shave job on my palm tree. Clean up was a mess but it's all gone.
Hire em!!

JDW Outdoors Tree & Land Services removed several trees from our back yard. Doug and his crew were very kind and professional. They removed the trees with care and protected other trees and plants. They left our property very clean. I would highly recommend them to take care of your property.

Doug and Brennan did a wonderful job cleaning up a few dead trees on property. When they finished the job you couldn’t tell a 40 foot tree was there.

We were highly impressed with JDW Outdoors and the owner, Doug Wilson. We had some challenges to remove our dead 40” oak tree that included electrical lines, restrictive area to get to the tree which is in a small backyard and fences. Pluses: (1) on time to start the job; (2) respectful and hard working employees, as was Doug; (3) proof of insurance provided: (4) quote was neither the lowest or highest but no “oops, we ran into a problem and we’ll have to add x amount”; (5) property was cleaned up and no damage was done to our flora, sprinklers, etc. Should have mentioned that the day he looked at the tree he was thorough in explaining the equipment that would be used and how it would be done. I would highly recommend JDW Outdoors and hope I have a chance to refer him as he’s a good contractor!

This is our second time using this company. We needed a tree removed and several trimmed on our rental property. Doug and his workers were very professional, on time and made sure to clean up everything before they left. Great Job!!

Jdw Outdoors did wonderful work for me after a storm left one of my trees resting in the tree beside it. It was a dangerous situation to go in the backyard because if the tree fell it would be bad. He came immediately and the next day was there to take care of it for me. I have since hired him to do work at my other properties and I feel his pricing is very fair and he does excellent work. I've seen the work of other tree companies which I would describe as a hatchet job but Doug is an artist and can make a tree safe and beautiful at the same time.

Great service. They were working down the street and I inquired about work at my house. By the end of the day, my (big) project was finished.
Efficient, fair pricing and tremendous clean up. I highly recommend.

The team from JDW Outdoors Tree & Land Services did an excellent job trimming my trees and removing one dead tree. Doug, the owner, provided a very fair estimate for completion of the work and was easy to reach to answer any questions I had. He was able to schedule the work quickly which was great. Brennen and the team arrived when promised and skillfully completed the work. Before leaving they picked up all the debris, blew off the roof, driveway and sidewalks and left everything in great shape. I would highly recommend Doug and his team if you need any tree work done throughout the central florida area. Great experience!!

This is the second time I have had JDW out to remove a tree. As always they do a fantastic job. I will call them again later this year for another project. Great people with the right equipment to do the jobs fast, efficient, and safe.

This company is amazing. Not only the nicest people you will ever hire but they go above and beyond. When they trimmed the palms around my pool they also cleaned up around and in my pool! I did not expect that. Reasonably priced and worth every penny. This was the second time I hired them and I will continue to do so.

Great company, excellent service and a fair price. A job well done. Doug was very personable. I am very pleased with the service I received and will definitely hire this company in the future. Thanks 🙏

Doug and his crew did an excellent job of removing a diseased palm tree from my property. They were very careful when removing a section of my fence in order to get equipment in our backyard and made sure that no foilage was damaged in the process. In addition to removing the palm tree and grinding the stump, they also trimmed four other trees. Cleanup was excellent. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again for other projects.
Great job!
