Tree reviews in Winter Park, Florida

10 out of 10 for these guys! The owner Doug was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. Called him out for one thing, and he ended up taking on multiple jobs in the yard. Great guys!!! Highly recommend them to anybody who asks. They go above and beyond, a little tree debris fell into the pool and they went to scooping it out without me saying a word. 10 out of 10!!! Would absolutely recommend these guys! 🙌🏼

I would like to thank the owner of JDW Outdoors Doug for his honesty and great work. I have been doing business with him for few years now both for our house and other properties, and NEVER once we were disappointed as he is honest, ethical and his attention to details is second to none, I would like to thank the "Chief" + Brennan and his entire staff as well. Keep up the good work.
I believe he is on Nextdoor as well.

Doug delivered what he promised. He came on time, worked efficiently with all his crew and did exactly what he recommended and I approved.
He trimmed every branch growing over the roof, cleaned up some trees they were growing funny, he did diamond shape to my palm tree. Now my yard is looking clean and ready to receive some sun!
Price is reasonable, but work was great.
I highly recommend Doug.

Doug and his team are always the guys you can depend on. I have been using them for the last three years and always have appreciated Doug’s communication, integrity, speed in providing quotes, and competitive pricing. These guys know what they’re doing and I know my oaks are in good hands with them. They have also continued to invest in their business so you know they’re always growing and evolving. Thank you Doug and team!

Doug and his team were fantastic… Came out on a Saturday to do a quote… Was very accommodating came back two days later and trim out for us very professional awesome group

Doug and his crew at JDW were so professional and efficient. They were courteous, on time and cleaned up everything! They even blew off debris from all around the house including my front door. 100% recommend

Doug and his crew just finished trimming up my 6 palm trees and I am extremely satisfied with their work. They cleaned up all the little pieces that always fall into the bushes. They were very courteous and efficient with their work. They have nice equipment to get the job done with precision and efficiency. No lingering around which I appreciate !!

I have hired many tree service companies before, but JDW Outdoors is hands down the best in their industry. They have done work for us on several occasions. What makes them unique are their courteous service, competitive quotes, and cutting edge technological equipment, especially the spider machine that maneuvers into narrow paths and reaches the highest tree to safely trim branches as needed (see their website like I did to help you make your decision). They are punctual, courteous, and professional in setting up the job, addressing all the needs during the process, as well as taking care of the proper cleanup before they leave. Doug is a very trustworthy individual, and operates on a handshake if need be. Having the greatest equipment coupled with the human touch, make JDW a very competitive company pricewise, as they are very efficient and reliable at what they do. Thank you Doug, for another job well done.

This crew is great! They do what they say even if it is an inconvenience! Thank you Hill’s for taking excellent care of me and my home!

This is our annual street-wide tree butchering. The approach is consistent: hacking, slashing, and walking away. No proper pruning standards, no long-term planning—just damage severe enough that many of these trees decline and die within a few years.

This tree is a prime example. Power lines were installed for new construction, and over the past three years it has been repeatedly and aggressively cut back, leaving it structurally compromised. I grew this tree from a seed over 30 years ago. It is now riddled with fungal infection as a direct result of improper cuts.

The individual who performed the work claimed to be an arborist. That claim was false. The cuts made were neither informed nor responsible, and they have permanently damaged a mature, healthy tree.

This is not maintenance. It is negligence. And the long-term cost—to the trees, the neighborhood, and the environment—is being ignored entirely.

Inappropriate behavior from workers in my backyard. Shouldn’t be using my personal property
