09232019: 4.75. The best thing you could hope to experience, no surprises. Two large pine trees and an oak The arborist for the first estimate appointment showed up on time, scheduling contacted me in a reasonable time, & the tree removal crew showed up on time. Start to finish was about a month. I did read some reviews regarding broken concrete. I anticipated that and made sure to communicate the concern. They brought extra sheets of plywood to spread out the truck's load which had to be driven into the grass area. No broken concrete. I marked all sprinkler heads from the start of the driveway up to and surrounding the worksite. Not a single head was run over. You can see for flags to the left of their truck, right next to a tree being removed. The flags were never touched. The next day, the larger logs were removed from the street edge, and two days later the stumps were ground down. I had them leave the grindings for composting and ground leveling. My estimate was clear, everyone on the team communicated, and like I said no surprises. The only tweek I would say is that it was not understood, by me, that the larger log removal and stump grinding would occur on subsequent days, but that's ok. That would have made it a solid 5. As it stands, 4.75. A good experience is a combination of you communicating clearly with them, and their communicating clearly with you. Mission accomplished!

On a Saturday afternoon got into trouble when attempting to down a 12" diameter 40ft high pine tree 15ft from my house.

I ran a line (with a come-along attached) from a cedar tree across the yard to the pine and tensioned it as a precaution and also braced it with an extension ladder. After spending a while studying the pine tree to figure out where its weight was distributed I made my notch cut. After another lengthy look at the tree I made my back cut.

All did not go well. The pine tree began to lean slightly TOWARD THE HOUSE! I drove a wedge into the back cut and came into the house to look online for a tree service that showed emergency service. My thought was they could at least add another line or two to help fell the tree away from the house.

*** A BUDGET TREE SERVICE was the first to answer the phone. They requested pictures which I sent. I was told they could have someone at my location in 30 minutes. ***

I went back in the house to get some water and while I was drinking it a strong gust came from the east and helped the tree go down in the exact place I had intended. What a great piece of luck. I was able to cancel the emergency call.

I want to emphasize that the folks at A BUDGET TREE SERVICE were great communicators and made me feel like they had my back the whole time. I have more old trees in the yard that will eventually need to come down. For the ones that are too much for me to handle I'll call A BUDGET TREE SERVICE.

We had a complicated and dangerous tree removal. I can’t imagine any other company could have safely removed this huge old oak tree from under, around, & over power lines. They own their own giant crane that lifted 2,000 lb segments over our 2 story home. The crew was professional and a pleasure to have on our property. Safety was their primary concern. They protected our driveway & yard. They completely cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend them for any size job.

Dale and his team really go above and beyond to take care of Seminole county residents and beyond.. I’ve known him and his family since 2004 and have watched him grow his business through strong work ethic, reliable equipment and doing what’s right. Budget tree came and trimmed and cut the branches that were over hanging our roof line and in our neighbor’s yard. They did exactly what was in the proposal. They were professional, friendly and a very hard-working team. They even left behind firewood upon our request, cut it and stacked it. I would highly recommend them. Also, it was so nice to call and talk to a human voice. Beverly was very friendly, professional and accommodating. And she called back when she said she would. It was a five star experience from the very beginning.

The 3 guys were very helpful and completed my requirements that I needed. They worked hard and make a great team. Everything was cleaned up and I will tell my friends to call A Budget Tree Service when they need a great company.

This our 2nd time using A Budget Tree. They are reasonably priced, prompt and the employees are friendly. They are also very knowledgable about Live Oak trees. I would recommend them for sure.

It is with pleasure that I write this review about “A Budget Tree Service, Inc.” First, I would like to express my thoughts about any business that functions without a code of standards is seen by me to be a scammer, and this is not the case with this company.
I think Brenda is the office manager and she was my first person of contact at, “Budget.” She was gracious and her voice was welcoming. She was informative about Budget Tree services and detailed so much when she was able to inform me of the date of their previous service with me; And she timely scheduled my free estimate tree assessment with Brad.
Brad arrived at my home on time. I was very impressed by his well-groomed appearance, and his patient-courteous demeanor. He assessed the work, and he was thorough as he shared confidently with me his knowledge about the services they would provide to get the job done. I knew Brad had listened to me when by the end of the day I received from him via email the job proposal.
It is in the comfort of my home that I was able to read the digitalized proposal with understanding and to see pictures with red markings of the trees and work to be done. This proposal also included my ability to select my pricing options and to enter my electronic signature. This mode of communication was an efficient, convenient, quick and easy process. I also was pleased with the price, which was comparable to another vendor estimate and included a sizable and much appreciated discount. My wait date was short-lived then…I said as the Greeks would say, "Let the games begin."
On Monday, May 5, 2025-the Budget tree cutting crew (Ben, Heather, Stanley, Edward and 1 more huge equipment operator), arrived at my home on time. I soon dubbed them to be the “A-team,” as they strategically positioned their heavy-duty equipment without compromise to me, my neighboring properties and the area wildlife. As they geared themselves up for safety and started their equipment, my sister and I positioned ourselves accordingly. We watched in total awe and noted how physically demanding, dangerous and tedious this work is. Yet, we viewed it as a form of artistry and held an appreciation toward the makings of good works.
This tree-cutting team of experts had at their disposal the use of highly whetted, state-of-the-art equipment that was manual and computerized. I witnessed their body of work to be a performance that was enhanced with the precision of their experience. It was from early morning until late, late evening that they did a thorough job. They too were courteous, informative and their post clean-up was great without compromise.
On Tuesday, due to previous obligations, I was unable to watch Tim, the stump grinder and the haul- away guy/persons do their thing. Yet, all the designated stumps were finely grinded, and the huge tree remains were loaded and transported away by these great workmen. At the end of each phase of work, Budget service team left my yard and my property clean and intact.
Proudly do I write this review to state that I witnessed each Budget employee to be respectful, knowledgeable, timely and considerate. I saw the use of high-tech equipment proficiently powered and operated by trained personnel. This whole team of great employees have merged their services with old-fashioned manners and a standard of practice which makes “Budget Tree Service” an A-1 tree service that is second to none. I end my review as a very, very satisfied customer.

The team at A Budget Tree Service are AMAZING. From my communication via phone and text with Antonia to the incredible crew that came out (Q, Markice, AJ and Tim) everyone is professional, courteous and helpful.

We will definitely be future customers and recommend them to friends and family. When you find a quality contractor like this, you stick with them! Great customer service is rare these days.

I started trimming my Crepe Myrtle myself from my roof with a pole saw. Let me tell you, tree trimming quickly escalates into a major job! I couldn't finish it plus I had a driveway full of branches higher than my garage door! A Budget Tree service came out, finished the job and cleaned up every branch I had. They saved us, and I couldn't be happier with their work. Next time, I'm calling them first! A-plus service from start to finish.

We had multiple large oaks with limbs too high to prune using our pole saw. A Budget brought in a small elevator and reached them easily. They pruned out the dead and excess branches to "raise" the canopies, took weight off the long beams, and cleaned up the debris. They also took care to avoid our sprinkler heads and not drop anything on our paver drive. Except for the much better look to our trees, we could not tell that anyone had been there.

A Budget Tree Service is hands down the best tree service company we have ever used. They removed some large trees from our yard, and the entire experience from start to finish was professional and seamless. Their staff and crew were super efficient and they do excellent work!

Budget removed a dying oak in front of our house that was struck by lightning. They did an amazing job with tree removal. Would give 5 stars but the stump grinding wasn’t complete as there are several large roots left by the sidewalk.
Update they came back out and got rid of the roots! Excellent company and thanks for the follow up! 5 Stars!

Fair prices. Excellent job removing five dead pine trees. Made a path of plywood so equipment would not damage grass. Very careful to be safe while working. Cleaned up so well I couldn't even tell they were here. I would absolutely use them again.
UPDATE: We had them over once again November 2024 to remove and trim some Oak trees. Again they did an excellent job. There was one tree limb I wanted removed that seemed to be out of the reach of their bucket lift. They used a 20 ft long manual pole saw to get it (not an easy task!). The four man crew were very friendly and accommodating and by the time they left, every trunk, branch and twig were gone, you could never tell they were here. Simply awesome.

Second time using Budget Tree Service and they’re fantastic! Brad and Beverly made the quote process easy, and Ben and his team did a great job working around my schedule so everything was done before my new roof went on. Highly recommend!

A Budget Tree Service is top notch! Five Stars... Their tree work and customer service is excellent!

They have removed trees on my property before in Seminole County -but just recently I had an issue. I had an old stump area and was trying to plant a new tree in the same spot.. but couldn't get through the earth. I called A Budget Tree Service, Inc. and spoke with Beverly and later talked with Dale. Their communication and expedience was really impressive.

Within a day, a professional from A Budget came out and cleared the roots/stump area and left the area cleaner than it was before! I was able to plant a new Maple tree to replace an Oak that was taken down from a lightning damage.

The team was on time and friendly. They did an excellent job taking down the large oak limb that had broken. The team cleaned up when they completed the project. They were careful with my home and with safety. A very good experience.

We had a huge old oak, that every year terrified me for fear of falling or having a storm take out our house. They gave me the best quote for removal out of 5 different quotes I had received. We also had the stump grinding done to stop more trees from sprouting. Best service ever. They were professional , safe, fast and gave me a Veteran's discount. I couldn't believe how fast they removed it. I also saved on plumbing expenses from the roots getting into the pipes. We had to pay for root removal from the plumbing before the tree was taken down. Great job!!! Thank you guys!!!
