DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Andrew will try to take your money, Andrew has no customer service skills...ie calling myself dumb, idiot, moron and whatever else he was ranting on the phone (yes, I did call him a name after he tried to talk down to me and call me a bunch of names and tell me I don't know how to do math), Andrew will overcharge, Andrew will give the run around on work and pricing, the phone service doesn't work because whatever excuse Andrew is using that day, Andrew will lie about the time frame in which the work is to be done and Andrew will make up whatever he wants to take your money. American Home Shield has this terrible company working for them. Please look at all the reviews before using this awful company. Since no work was actually done, I can't comment on that. All of this took place before the actual work could begin.

I was assigned this company by my home warranty company because my A/C unit had broken that night, which was a Tuesday, by the way. When we called them the next morning to set up when they would be coming out to repair it, they told us that they would not be available until Friday. This is all during the dead of summer time of Florida where temperatures can reach over 100 degrees and they want me to wait 3 more days before they can do anything about it?! I told the person at the company that it is an emergency because I have a young child and animals in my house. At which point, they said the do not do emergencies and they are treating everyone the same regardless of their circumstances or situation. The person I spoke with not very friendly and did not any care of my situation. I do not recommending using this company at all.

My Home warranty services set me up with these Yahoos. They called me Monday am and scheduled it for Thursday evening, which was their first available! Thursday at around noon they called and had to cancel due to weather! Not a cloud in the sky and about 70 degrees out, not sure what weather. I know it snowed In Chicago on Thursday, but don’t think that affects Ocala. When home warranty called them to reschedule, Tuesday was going to be their next available! Nope, not dealing with that! Got someone else! Not very service oriented!

My request was sent on 8/31/2017 to my warranty company. Burleson never contacted me to set up an appointment, I had to call them. Then they were very rude when I asked why they did not contact me. They finally made an appointment for 9/6/2017 between 10a.m and 2p.m. On 9/5/2017 I received a call indicating they will be out between 1p.m. and 5p.m. on 9/6/2017. At 10:45 a.m. on 9/6/2017, I receive a call that all services have been cancelled due to the impending hurricane. Are you kidding me? I have been without A/C for almost a week and now they want to schedule for next week!?! Chelsee asks me, "So do you want to reschedule or not?" I tell her, "Do I have a choice?" And she tells ME not to be rude? Lady everyone I have spoken to at your office is rude and unprofessional.

Don't worry about rescheduling my appointment, I called my warranty company and you are off the job!

If you are with a warranty company and they refer you to them Call your warranty company and ask for someone else. Do not go with them. We put in the request on on 5/19 our A/C would run for hours trying to get to 77 degrees. They were very accommodating and came out Monday night 5/29. He said our machine was really old gave us 2 options and said he'll submit everything to the warranty company. We have called everyday to both him his office and our warranty company and each time he tells us that he will submit right away and the warranty company it takes awhile to receive. The poor warranty company can't even do anything without his submission. So it's been a week we've had our A/C off since we don't have a million dollars to spend on A/C running 24/7 nonstop. And we are no closer than we were a week ago. They still haven't put anything in they still haven't submitted and our warranty company has even been calling them to try and get them to submit paperwork. Imagine how slow they will be to do anything else if this is just the start of it.

Would give these dudes a 0 if I could. These worst of the worst. Scam artists. Charging 1500 for Freon while a competitor charged 400 for the Freon. The Freon was worth more than the repair. Stay far far far far far away from this company

Burleson services has always treated me with respect, even when my frustrations over my AC unit have brought me to tears and raising my voice. If you are reading bad reviews, please note that most of them mention American Home Shield warranty which is the real reason for the review. Even if they don't mention it outright, that's probably the issue. I really struggled with AHS over the almost 6 years I had them as a warranty company and Burleson has been by my side through it all and even helped me through dealing with repairs that my home warranty company refused to cover. It's easy to blame the contractor for the unfortunate limitations AHS has them under. I have since switched to a new home warranty company and it was the best thing I ever did for my home. It has made life much easier on myself and my trusted AC company, Burleson. Thank you Andy and Christy for providing me with friendly and personalized customer service!

I was very apprehensive when I saw the negative reviews. The warranty company contracts with Burleson. Outside of the week wait for service, I have nothing negative to share. Carrie, scheduler was professional. James and his assistant Nicholas were very professional, kind and knowledgeable. Andy the owner was helpful with future work estimate. Overall, great experience. Thank you Kiki.

I had the misfortune of inheriting American Home Shield and this company, when I moved here 7/2018. They came out the 1st time and installed a float and were very responsive, but when I complained about the poor Air conditioning at one end of the house they sold me on the idea of a minisplit for the 2 distant rooms, and I was told there was a deposit on ordering the 2 units. Once they received the deposit, they were impossible to contact and always had excuses as to why the units weren't being installed. Finally after getting nowhere, I went to their"offices". 1 was under the name of Burleson- Andrew Burleson, and was a deserted boat yard- at least that was the closest thing I could find. The 2nd was a Leesburg address, a small office park, and the lady said Burleson had never rented space from them and that I wasn't the only person who had come looking for them. I contacted American Home Shield and was told that was "too bad" and they could give me another company but no monetary refund. Needless to say, I did not renew with them but as I cannot find them I have been unable to pursue this.
Do not get involved with these very dishonest people.

This place is horrible... We have AHS warranty company and they referred these people to us. What a joke. Got our brand new unit inside and out June of 2015, This past weekend my air stopped working again... This makes 6 times either my AC hasn't worked or my heat wouldn't work. Each time they send a technician out and each time the technician has said"oh the guy who installed everything did it wrong" But I fixed it... I called certified climate control and they were out the next day and did a complete inspection of the unit. Come to find out, nothing was tighten down and the problem this time was I had wires that were arcing and could have caught fire. That's always good to know. I cant go back and changed the fact I hired this company but I will make sure not ever recommend them to anyone!

Reccomended by American Home warranty services...please stay away from this company period...the reviews associated with this company are very substantiated. This company takes your money, WILL not return phone calls or even answer them for that matter. "Our phone lines were cut" or some other excuse...not one address listed was valid and one being a church office. Seems new address is at a 1.7 million dollar house....the issues go on and on. Terrible experience with this company and will happily pay extra just to avoid them.

I have been assigned them 2 times by American Home Shield. The first time they came they tried to say that our first floor unit needed to be completely modified and our cement torn up. They tried to upcharge us. We requested a second opinion despite AHS telling us we might need to pay a second service call... the second company diagnosed it as a simple fix and ordered a part and had us up and running. Now this time after having been given the run around for the past 10 days they don't show up to their appointment and they do not call. How are they even in business?

This company would be in the negative stars. We just moved here to Ocala and bought a house that definitely needs the AHS. When we moved in, our A/C unit wasn't working. Took almost a week for a technician to come out. Now we're waiting for the part, which should be this Friday. The guy came out last Thursday. The communication with this company is really bad. You try to call to get an ETA,
only to get the voicemail and no return call back. We called AHS to see our status. They called them only to get the voicemail too.

Edit to update: over of month of getting the run-around of getting a system ordered. Not ONCE did they ever call us to update the situation. They say they are running a business, HA! Pickup the phone and return calls. Let us know what the status is. We had no A/C for over a month since moving to this house. Especially with kids and pets. This "business" should be out of business. We changed vendors and instantly received calls of confirmation and status of our order part we need. If you're dealing with American Home Shield and they recommend Burleson Services, ask for another vendor. People are surprise of the negative reviews- those are all right on.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. These people are absolute scam artists. I had a contract with American Homeshield so I was forced into using this company by them. The tech Burleson sent out reported to the insurance company that a power surge had caused our circuit board to fail. Not only that, but Burleson insisted I would have to pay $650 out of pocket for the unit to be removed and cleaned before they would even touch it. After going around and around with the insurance company, we finally paid a different company out-of-pocket to come out. The circuit board was totally fine, a line had gotten cut by the fan blade and just had to be replaced. The new company's tech also informed us that if our indoor coil had been pulled out to be cleaned, it likely would have failed due to its age, and recommended cleaning it in place instead (something THEY only charged $68 for). Save yourself your money, and find a company that isn't out to scam you out of it.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for your AC needs. They are completely unreliable, don't let you talk and try to talk over you as you explain to them the situation and then lie to you just to get you to shut up.

My warranty company scheduled an emergency appointment with them on a Friday for the following Thursday and we confirmed with them on Monday, explaining the situation with them that we have been without AC for over a week. They assured me that we would be first on their list and gave me a 9am to 1pm window for arrival. On Wednesday the day before the already scheduled appointment they call me to try and push back my appointment to a later window saying that they had other appointments in the area first, after complaining to Christie about the fact that my house has been without AC for almost 2 weeks in Central Florida and this was placed as an emergency call, she finally told me that we would get changed back to the original time and that the tech would only have to pick up parts before coming to our house as his first appointment. At 12:30pm on Thursday, we have yet to get a phone call from the tech or Burleson offices, so I called them. Then Christie tells me that the tech's Van broke down and she forgot to call and let all the scheduled appointments know that they would be running behind. When I asked if I would still be first, she said no and that she only told me that I would be first the day before because I was "yelling" which was not true, I did raise my voice and kept trying to talk to her but she just kept cutting me off and telling me "she understands". Not happy about this and now with no time frame of when we would hear from a tech, she passed me on to her supervisor Andy. Who then tells me the same story and informs me that the tech is about to leave again for his appointments and said that I would be second. I told him that I was told that I would be first and he then asked Christie if she told me that and I could hear her in the background and she said she didn't tell me that which was a flat out LIE! I then got upset that she flat out lied and basically told me what I wanted to hear so that I would shut up, after confronting Andy about it he told me he had the right to refuse business and called me belligerent.

This company is the absolute worse and according to all the other reviews I just read, I can see that I'm not the only one who has had such terrible service. I would not recommend them to anyone and if I could give them a negative star I would.

The people in this business are rude and give you the runaround. I called and left a message several times with no call back. My insurance company covered partial cost of my a/c repair. The manager told me it was not covered at all and they were going to charge me $650 and they had no openings this entire week. I called another company and they charge $165 for the service and are coming out the same day. Do not use this company!

Burleson was the contractor my home warranty service chose to handle my work order when my hear pump stopped working.

I received a call from a surly woman named "Marie" who displayed the bare minimum amount of courtesy when "scheduling" my service call for 3 days later on a Friday between 2p - 6p. I use quotes around the word scheduling because apparently when you "schedule" an appointment with Burleson it's only a suggestion and not actually confirmed.

Instead, they will wait until they are ALREADY WITHIN your appointment arrival window then call you and, if you don't answer, you will have *10 MINUTES* to call them back before they CANCEL your "appointment."

The technician called my cell at 2:42p and I couldn't answer because I was in a virtual meeting (Mind you, I was still at home because I work remotely). I received another call from Marie at 2:47p, which I also couldn't answer.

When I finished my meetings at around 330p I checked my voicemails. Marie's voicemail from 2:47p said I needed to call her back "within 10 minutes or my appointment would need to be rescheduled."

I called the office back at 3:39p and no one answered. Their voicemail stated that their office hours were until 4p on Friday but no one bothered to answer so I left a message stating I expected someone to still come out to my house because I was still well within my "scheduled" window of 2p - 6p.

Then I called the technician back who stated that "they weren't going to send someone out if they couldn't confirm the appointment." I explained that I was told I had an APPOINTMENT. Why would I need to reconfirm it if I already said I was going to be home?? Additionally, I was never told that I would need to be available to reconfirm my appointment. If that were the case I could have supplied my husband's or adult son's cell phones because they were also at home and available for the technician.

Absolutely useless "repair service." Avoid them if possible!

I came across Burleson Services through my home warranty, American Home Shield. My ac had stopped blowing air, which came to a simple resolution. The service technician, Andy, was very professional and knowledgable.

Could not be more disappointed. They have a contract with AMERICAN Home Shield and require payment before they will even schedule you for a replacement appointment. I have contacted them multiple times trying to get the dimensions of the equipment they were to install and was assured it would fit properly. The replacement air handler was over six inches wider and their solution was for me to figure the dimensions and cut and unfinished hole for them to fit the air handler in and drywall after the fact. No trim panel to cover the gigantic hole, no door to close over the new handler/air return. I am at a loss for words. Have contacted Mr Burleson and have yet to receive a call back. Would hope he would coordinate a solution that does not leave my house looking like an unfinished construction zone. As of now I am out 1600+ dollars and no AC fix.

Warning this company lied about the warranty period on a new Payne HVAC system. I was told it had 10 years. Well low and behold my system died in less than 8 years. Turns out it only had a 5 year warranty. Only one person came out to replace my system and it took him till 11:30 pm to finish install. Turns out he did not do a good professional installation nor was a permit pulled. I had to bite the cost again to replace a 5 ton. This time I went with Rheem with 10 yr warranty and a reputable company. Worst AC company I've ever dealt with on so many levels.

AHS home warranty set us up with Burleson. Lots of negative reviews made us nervous. Sure we had to wait 6 days. What did we expect it was 4rth of July weekend in hot Florida. Wow! Mike the Technician showed up, was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and explanatory. He had us up and running in 20 minutes after replacing parts he had right in the van. Thanks for the terrific service Burleson Services!
