I hired another electrician to fix electrical problems at my 85 year old fathers house. They charged $5000 just to change out the breaker box which is double national average. This did not fix the problem. When they returned they said they needed another $5000 do rectify the issue. At this point we were done with this particular company. Fortunately Neal Price Electric was recommended to the family. Their quote was $1800 and upon completion of work, the technician said it did not take as long as estimated and charged my father $1600. He has not had a problem since. Unfortunately it is rare to find honest, hard working, knowledgeable people these days. Neal Price Electric is a rarity, , based on my families experience, that I highly recommend.

I called Neal Price Electric to diagnose a circuit in my sun room that was not working. Even though Neal was delayed to the appointment due to an unexpected emergency call from AT&T (for which I fault him not at all), Sherri was very communicative and kept me apprised of his updated ETA so I wasn't left in the dark. She also requested that I take pictures of the affected equipment so he could come better prepared for the potential repairs.

Not only did Neal replace four weathered sockets and repair the non-functional 15A circuit, but he also identified a 20A circuit that wasn't even connected and installed a new breaker on my panel to make it live. He also discovered that a main grounding wire wasn't connected, which would have led to a catastrophic loss of electronic equipment had a lightning strike occurred. Even though he was fairly sure there was already a ground line in another location, he made sure to connect the second one just to be safe. He explained each step of the process and made me aware of my options before he worked and educated me in some of the finer aspects of the industry and other issues he had encountered in the past while he effected the repairs. He even offered a detailed, plausible explanation as to why my 'pet-grade' vacuum was tripping a particular circuit breaker after a few minutes due to its higher motor draw and longer power cord combined with that circuit having an AFCI breaker on it.

In addition, while he worked we discussed many topics, and through this I learned that he is an honest, professional, ethical, thorough, and trustworthy individual that I wouldn't hesitate to hire again or recommend to others that are in need of electric services. He's not one of those guys that cuts corners just to save a few bucks on his bottom line, and I sincerely appreciate and value that.

We recently had a power outage at my office and needed to get back up and running as soon as possible. Upon a recommendation I called Neal, and he came to diagnose the problem within a short period of time and worked well into the evening replacing a part that had failed and then stayed even later to assure everything was working as it should be. Neal was very communicative, efficient and thorough. I would not hesitate to call Neal again for any other business or residential related problems requiring an expert electrician. I recently had a power outage at home. The GA Power lineman who came out to investigate noted that their incoming line had a problem but my meter base was damaged... and I would need an electrician to fix it (before GA Power could repair the service). The lineman said he knows somebody who could definitely fix it. He offered to send some photos and call (the electrician) for me. I didn't have a better idea.. at 9pm on a wednesday night, so I agreed that would be fine.

I have to admit I thought that seemed awful convenient - the old "I can call my friend" but Neal Price answered the phone right away and he impressed me immediately. He has been doing contract work with GA Power for many years. He knows a lot of the crews personally and he knows the equipment. He also sits on NEC committees and he impressed me as a man of integrity. He told me right up front that he didn't want me to feel pressured to use him. He also told me, importantly that based on the photos - he could fix the meter base.

On Friday morning Neal and Sherri (from his office) coordinated with GA Power to send a crew to shut down and troubleshoot/repair their line while Neal disassembled and replaced the broken parts inside the meter base. I'm quite pleased that all of this was DONE within about 36 hours of the first phone call. I strongly recommend Neal Price Electric.

Neal helped us resolve several issues related to flickering in our electric service including an new meter base installed by his team and ultimately a new line from the street to the house installed by GA Power. He is knowledgeable, responsive and honest. He is well versed in how to connect with Cobb County and GA Power to resolve our issues in the most efficient ways possible. Neal came out in the middle of the night to work with Georgia Power to restore power to our house after a “lost neutral” and some issues in our meter box. Very helpful, kind, and courteous, and saved us a bunch of money!

I had a rather sudden electric issue at my home, which while not necessarily an emergency, nonetheless would have made my life much easier if it could be addressed quickly. After Georgia Power came out and diagnosed the problem, they highly recommended Mr. Price, who I believe does a great deal of work for them, and he came out immediately, was extremely professional and forthright, and stayed for several hours, including waiting until my power was restored by Georgia Power to verify everything was working as appropriate. I now have an electrician I know I can turn to in the future. Neal was great. Highly recommend him.

It’s rare to find a man as honest and fair as Neal. Neal and his team did some major work for me including installing an entirely new power service, eliminating the above ground main power line to my attic. The new line was buried underground. They also recommended some safety features that we had lacked before. His pricing was much more reasonable than his competitors. I really enjoyed working with Neal and recommend him to anyone he cares about getting a quality job at a fair price.

Neal came to our home and replaced the main power wire as well as a new meter box when a tree broke and took down the line.Once he had the work completed himself and I both called GEORGIA POWER to have power restored at the pole. Neal stayed for 3 hours waiting on them to show up and restore our power. He wanted to ensure that the work he had done was satisfactory to us as well as see if we had other issues once power was back on. Neal did not have to wait the three hours for Georgia Power to show up, but he did it anyhow which shows his dedication to his customer. Thank you so much for the great service.

Neal is an amazing contractor. It is so hard to find good help, people you can trust and who will do a good job. But Neal delivered just when I had lost faith in hiring anyone around here. Not only is he knowledgeable but he is honest and hard working. He went out of his way to help me with a complicated electrical repair and an issue with GA Power. He sincerely cares about his customers. I will hire him again to do more electrical work around here that is needing to be done.

Great experience working with Neal. After difficulties with the power company being unwilling to turn my power back on after a storm, Neal came in and provided the fix same day, was up to all standards and provided the power co the level of comfort needed to bring the power back on for my wife and I. Neal was professional, timely, and new what was needed to get the job done.

Would have likely had to go to a hotel if it wasn’t for Neal due to temperatures dropping and our power having been off for multiple days.

By far the most professional, caring, and kind man I have ever had the pleasure of doing buisness with. This man went above and beyond to not only fix my electrical issues, but to help restore my electric with the power company. Then he took the time to have a conversation with me and demonstrate good old fashion customer service. If people truly knew what a wonderful electrician, he was, he would put every other electrician out of business. Although everybody does their job to get paid this man does his job because he cares. The customer service that came after, from his secretary was just as wonderful as the conversation and customer service from him. I mean, how many electricians contact their customers days after they've performed a service to make sure everything is working? Most just go about their day and figure if you don't call them back everything must be fine, but not Neil Price. They make it a point to check-in with you after the service is done. It is obvious there are years of experience, not just in electrical work, but in customer service as well. I have found my lifelong electrician, if I ever need one again and I can't recommend him enough.

During a recent major storm in terms of wind speed 50+mph, the pole to my house snapped in two when a Magnolia tree up the street fell on the lines, see attached pic. Ga Power worked all night to fix and at 8:00am the Ga. Power lineman said the lines to my house were ripped out and you have to first get an electrician before they would re-energize my house. They recommended Neal Price. I called his emergency line, a short time later Neal called me back and around 3:00 that day he showed up to survey the damage. 24 hours later Neal fixed my house AND coordinated with Ga. Power to fix my power at the time that Neal was finishing his work. He's been a Ga. Power contractor for 30 years and obviously has some pull to pull off that type of coordination. His integrity appears to be something from a long-gone era....maybe he's a time traveler, IDK. But the next time I need an electrician....I'll be calling Neal. I need to also credit Ga. Power LINEMEN with their professionalism and timely response. Those guys are SOOOO important to keeping civilization, .....civil. Don't believe it, ask people who get hit hard by a hurricane....people can get mean and nasty quickly when there is no electricity. I hope both groups have a great 2020. Neal's employee, Sherry (sp-i tink), also did a follow-up call to confirm that all was well after the repairs.....very impressed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Neal is a class-act and does an amazing job. He took the time to explain the situation in great detail, worked with us to determine the options forward, completed the job and did great work. I cannot say enough great things about Neal Price. I was totally spiraling after my meter base was rusted out, lights were flickering, house was surging, and after talking to several electricians - I was being quoted around $10,000-$12,000 to have everything fixed. Thank goodness someone referred me to Neal, who not only perfectly explained the situation I had going on with my meter base, but he gave me multiple options and explained them to me clearly and openly. Neal is a blessing that is rare in this world. I was without power and after several electricians tried to charge from $5,000 to $30,000 to replace a meter taken out by the pole falling, he came to the rescue.

After receiving ridiculously outrageous free estimates from several other local electric companies, a colleague suggested that I reach out to Neal Electric. I’m so glad I did!! I did pay a small fee for the estimate, but I didn’t mind it (knowing what I know now, it was worth every penny!!). Neal came out himself and spent about three hours walking my property with me and laying out all my options. His quote was by far the most reasonable. In fact, he was able to address safety concerns in my electrical panel without upselling me on a whole new panel (which is what the other companies tried to do). It took Neal and Kenny three days to complete everything on my list. They were punctual, kind, and patient. Most important to me, they were honest and did amazing work! Neal Price was recommended by the GA Power technician who came to my house. I was told there were exposed wires and I needed an electrician. It turns out there was more work which Neal explained. He took care of everything from start to finish - including permit and inspection, a new meter box, conductors, pipe to the roof to name a few.
