I contacted Leif Coburn at ChargeRight Electric after getting a referral from neighbors in Decatur. I needed their help with wiring in my Mom's old house. Leif met me the next morning and took a look at the work - removing ol knob & tube wiring and replacing with ROMEX wiring, and to check a few other electrical items. Time was critical so he sent his crew out within a few days, and the work was complete within the estimated 3 day time frame, and passed the inspection. His crew was professional and experts in their work; respectful of the property and cleaned up after all was done. So thankful that I worked with them, and highly recommend them for any electrical work.

After getting a few bogus quotes to instal a EV charger in my garage Leif came out. He was very respectable, didn’t talk to me like he was doing some surgery to my house that I couldn’t understand, and gave me a very fair price for the work. On the instal day his crew were very professional, nice and answered any questions I had for them (electrical ones not related to the job). Thank you all again so much for the wonderful work!

I have used Leif and ChargeRight for two projects on my home. First, he helped me install a 220v circuit for my Level2 car and, at the same time, install a 220v box for my new mini split A/C. A few years later, I had Leif replace my main breaker panel and reorganize / label all my circuits.

With both jobs, I really appreciated the time spent personally discussing the project, the process, and the desired outcomes.

For the first project, Leif did the electrical work himself and on the second an employee performed the labor. In both cases, I was very please with the outcome. Further, I found the pricing to be very competitive and I believe that I received a great value for the work done.

Great prices, excellent communication about services, times, and arrival. The outcome of the service exceeded our expectations, as the two electricians took extra time to manage aesthetics and functionality. Leif and his team are great! Friendly and easy to work with from the very fair priced quote through completing the work. Arrived right they said they would, and left our house in perfect condition.

I used Charge Right for the first time this week to do a small job at my house (replace bathroom exhaust fan / light combo). Leif and Colson arrived at the scheduled time and went right to work. They knocked out the work in an hour or so and left everything nice and neat. Excellent service. I will use them again.

We used Leif to install an EV charger and he was awesome and we highly recommend. We have an old home with no clear access from the panel to where we needed it - they did some magical wire fishing solutions no one else realized/suggested (after multiple quotes) and we were super happy with their work and the end result. Leif is honest, fair, and dependable. He is also creative and has a keen eye for detail. He recently completed electrical work on a first floor renovation including a kitchen and multiple rooms. Top notch work at an excellent price. The electricians who came out from Charge Right were great detectives who quickly diagnosed my problem and repaired it efficiently without selling me a bunch of gobbledygook I didn't need. They repaired a damaged area where power came into my house after the mast tore off in a storm and evaluated and repaired my ancient breakers. They were kind and friendly and tidy! I cannot say enough great things about them!

Leif is the best. I’ve lost count of how many things Leif has done to improve my house, but he’s been here at least 5 time - probably more. He does great work. He gives good advice, including telling me that I didn’t need work done that he could have profited from. He shows up when he says he will. His prices are reasonable. And, on top of all that, he is a pleasure to interact with. Colton has also done a couple of jobs on my house, and he has also done great work and been a pleasure to work with.

A true 5-Stars!!! Leif and his crew have provided excellent work on three separate visits. They have performed various electrical tasks from installing dimmers, hanging a ceiling fan, wall outlet behind a TV, extensive wiring for a total bathroom remodel, straightening out the breaker box, etc., etc. I am most grateful they updated the breaker box labels. They sure beats the "trial and error" method of finding a specific breaker. They reviewed my plans for the bathroom remodel and made it happen.

They always arrived on time, made a plan, and set to work right away. They worked quietly and quickly.
