One of their trucks nearly ran me off the road trying to get around me as we entered the interstate and then proceeded to tailgate anyone in front of them at 85mph.

Leave 5 minutes earlier and you won’t have to drive like a maniac to get to an appointment on time. If you can’t do that, a simple call saying “I’m running 5 minutes behind” works wonders. If you can’t do either option and instead opt to driving dangerously, then you probably shouldn’t be operating a big truck.

Had Heritage Construction help me with a kitchen remodel I was working on and it turned out great. Pricing and deadline to complete was on point.

Based on my experience- do NOT use. Sloppy work; does not supervise his non english speaking three person crew; crew cuts wood wrong and he wants customer to replace; argumentative when he did not follow blue print ; change roof pitch. Unprofessional and did not fix errors. That’s my experience !
Based upon his response - one can see for your self the professionalism he has. I Sure Was complaining about the workmanship! If thats condescending so be it. Plenty of materials plus more - even the architect was losing it with the work! So again, based upon my experience (and others who have private messaged me) do NOT use.

We used Rex to do a remodel in the upstairs of our house. New floors, new master bath, new door and window trim, relocated laundry room. They did a great job and Rex does want to do the right thing.

I needed some repair work from water damage. I cannot comment on the quality of work as apparently my job was not worth their time. I was told it wasn’t worth it to send their limited 3 man team outside of Tucker (I live all of 5 miles away in Smoke Rise) even though they advertised in a publication that ONLY goes to the Smoke Rise neighborhoods. I was blown off and told to find someone on Thumbtack instead. I suppose he didn’t see big enough dollar signs. No worries, the major renovation projects including a full bathroom remodel will go to someone who values me as a customer. Giving 2 stars because at least he showed up once to look at the problem I needed fixed.

Rex and his crew did an awesome job re+doing our deck and screen porch. Both look like new. Project was done on time and on budget!

I highly recommend this company . We needed to replace an old French door opening into a screened in porch with a new slider door. The old French doors were an odd size and wanted replace with a standard 72”by 80” slider . Rex and his crew ( especially Abraham ) were able to remove the existing doors and reframe the space to fit the new slider . It wasn’t an easy task and involved quite a bit of skill not to damage the existing walls in the house. The finished product is everything we could have hoped for. The crew was on time , cleaned up the job site and left everything as it was before . I plan on using them for another project in the near future . Hope this helps in any decisions anyone may be having about using this company for any construction project

Rex and his team completed remodels on both of our bathrooms and we loved the finish product. My wife and I found Rex to be responsive and helped us with decisions on design with our budget in mind. He answered any and all questions throughout the process and always came by daily to check on progress and provide status reports. Highly recommend and will be using this company for future projects!!

HCHI completed a fairly complex bathroom remodel that included demo and removal, electrical and plumbing, installation of toilet, double sink with vanity top and faucets, and two lighted mirrors. All work was done in a timely manner with minimum disruption to our routine. Rex and his crew were most professional, courteous and competent. The quality of their high standard of workmanship and attention to detail was 5 stars out if 5 stars if I could rate them. I told Rex I appreciated him and his “A” Team.

We have more projects that will require his expertise and I intend to call on HCHI again soon.

Our experience with Heritage Construction and Improvement (HCHI) was great. Rex, the owner made everything very easy and he is extremely professional. We had a major foundation issue at our home that affected both bathrooms. It was really nice to have a company who could not only fix the foundation issue, but also do all of the repair that was left over from having to demolish both bathrooms. His crew is very talented and they take great pride in their work. The end result was not only a solid and safe foundation, but two beautifully remodeled bathrooms. Rex stayed on top of everything and communicated with us daily. When there was anything unexpected that came up as often happens with older homes, he walked us through it clearly and patiently addressed any questions or concerns. We have worked with several contractors over the years and Rex is by far the best. I would highly recommend HCHI to anyone needed work in their home. Thanks Rex and the crew for an outstanding job.

I have been working with HCHI since sometime in 2018 on investment properties. The work I have had them do has ranged from smaller jobs to complete gut/remodels. I have always been very pleased with their work and Rex does a great job of communicating throughout the job to completion.

I have been doing this now for quite a while, and even I am at times surprised by how well these transformations come out. HCHI has a great attention to detail, and Rex has made suggestions at times to do things differently than what I was initially thinking that made things turn out even better and I believe helped us to sell the property. Working with HCHI feels more like a partnership.

I have worked with HCHI/Rex since 2018 on several investment properties (complete remodels) over the years and it is hard to argue the quality of the work when the end result looks like it should be in a magazine. Rex is always polite, fair with pricing and communicates any challenges he comes across. I wish I could post all the transformations he has done over there years, but I'll settle for posting the most drastic to date. It is one thing to watch the flipping shows on TV and be in awe of the work and how things turn out – it’s a whole other thing when you have a contractor capable of making it a reality and that is what Rex has done for me time and time again.
