Juan and his team were professional, respectful, and worked with great attention to detail — you can tell they take real pride in their work.

Chris was also fantastic to work with — communicative, responsive, and helped guide us through the design process with ease. The pricing was very fair for the level of craftsmanship and service we received. We’ve had neighbors stop by just to compliment the work — it truly transformed our outdoor space.

Before hiring Outdoor Makeover, I was pretty happy with our yard. It had a certain rustic charm, and to me it looked like a ruggedly drawn storybook illustration. My husband, on the other hand, was pretty adamant that we needed to make some changes. Fast forward to today, and I couldn't be happier. Our yard looks like an oasis - every time I look at it, I instantly feel a sense of calm...and it's 1000% more functional for the needs of our family.

The things that made our experience with Outdoor Makeover top notch are:
1) The work quality and attention to detail of Navid and his team were evident at each step of the project, from tree removal, to the size/height/angle of our stone retaining wall in relation to the rest of our yard, down to the final punch list.
2) How quickly the transformation occurred
3) Navid was very present and responsive from our initial meeting all the way through to the end of the project. He had good suggestions for how to achieve the yard we desired within the price point that we needed and when we weren't aligned on certain design ideas, he was very flexible with trying to bring our vision to life. He was also great about making sure his team was in complete alignment with the daily tasks. They huddled up at least 2 times per day to walk the yard and discuss project status.

When we first started searching for landscape companies I found it a bit discouraging that Outdoor Makeover was the only company with above average ratings. We usually like to compare 2-3 options but we couldn't find a comparable second option to even consider. I am glad we took a chance after our second meeting with Navid. We look forward to working with Outdoor Makeover again in the future.

The quality of work and design are top notch which is consistent with the feedback received by many other reviewers on here. This was the main reason I opted to go with Outdoor Makeover because I wanted to ensure my investment was going to be done right and last a long time.

Great companies are measured by how they handle things that go wrong rather than how they handle projects that run smoothly. In my case, after a positive design experience with Kasey, the initial crew that was assigned to my project did not meet timelines or provide the level of service I expected from Outdoor Makeover. This was problematic for me as I had planned an event at my house based on the timelines provided by the OM team. As soon as I provided this feedback to Chuck (Project Manager) he apologized, committed to making it right, and got a new crew over to my house the next day. Antonio and his team were phenomenal and they worked side-by-side with Chuck putting in 12 hour days over 48 hours to make up for lost time and get the project completed in time for my event. Chuck even added some additional touches to my project like lighting (pictures below) that really took it to the next level. For me, this experience is important to share because things happen but how companies respond can make all the difference. In this case, Outdoor Makeover went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. I will definitely be using them again!

Navid and crew do excellent work. My backyard was a mess and I had bad drainage problems. They fixed the drainage with some grading, a retention wall, and a dry creek bed. I also had them add a patio and some nice lighting. The work is great! His team is responsive and professional and were in-and-out quickly. Navid gave me numerous walkthroughs and project updates as the effort progressed.

We started our outdoor remodel process thinking just a little turf would set us straight, but the team at Outdoor Makeover went through all the options to make the absolutely best use of our backyard. What was previously a mudhole and rotting deck is now a large, lush, flat usable yard for our two small children, and a full outdoor kitchen and dining space. It is truly magazine-worthy and we LOVE it (as do our guests). From City of Atlanta permitting hassles (you are an angel of a human, William!), install (we miss you, Ashley and crew!), overall project management (looking at you, Daulton!), and the cleanup and delivery guys, EVERYONE was a delight and wonderful to work with. The teams were efficient, communicative and knowledgeable, as well as patient with us as we asked LOTS of them along the way. We cannot recommend them enough!

I am very glad I listened to the good reviews and decided to work with Outdoor Makeover for my side yard "makeover." My original space was a mess: dirt yard, poor drainage, and a dilapidated fence. Company owner Navid and his amazing team turned my side yard into a beautiful space with pavers that match my home, excellent drainage, an aluminum and wood fence, and dramatic lighting. Project manager Daulton, foreman Oscar, and designer Jon worked well as a team to make a small but slightly complicated project come together beautifully. I enjoyed the communication -- all parties were on a What's App conversation so we could all be on the same page for 1-2 weeks of the project.
I also was really grateful for the video updates the foreman sent at the end of every work day. Outdoor Makeover exceeded my expectations! See my before/after pictures to see why I am pleased.

Just in time for Spring! I am so obsessed with my new backyard!! I came to Outdoor Makeover with a firepit idea. Jonathan came by and we brainstormed together and he came up with the most brilliant idea!! Together with Ashley & Daulton the dream team created my custom oasis!! Quickly and efficiently - the team communicated every single day and made sure I was completely satisfied with every aspect of the project. The pictures do not do it justice!! It is absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to enjoy it once the weather finally breaks :)

We just finished a backyard Renovation and the whole team from start to finish was amazing. Bryan was great to start the process and get everything started. Oscar was amazing especially with the sink hole and the just the overall work. We will be using them again for the next phase.
Just wanted to add that Charles was great helping me with the day-to-day events that came up along with Bryan who started the project and Oscar who is great with all the construction.

The Outdoor makeover team did an excellent job in the landscape, deck staircase replacement and redesign project. Special thanks goes to Kasey(Designer/Sales), Charles (Project Manager), and Antonio (Execution team lead) who formed a perfect dream construction team. The level of commitment, attention to detail, and speed was exceptional. The project lasted ~ 2 months in total covering key stages such as planning, design, HOA documentation and design support, project planning and execution. I was very impressed with the level of expertise of the team and the extraordinary hardworking displayed by the entire staff. They even worked over the Christmas and new year holiday period to get the job done on time. I highly recommend this team, and plan on using them for another project this year. 5 star team!!

Great experience working with Jonathan, David, Yovani, and the team! The design process was easy with good communication and quick revisions. And the work was done way faster than I was expecting! There was one mistake made during the construction, but Outdoor Makeover fixed it at no extra cost. I will use them again for my next project!

Excellent job beginning to end with my rooftop outdoor kitchen . We absolutely love it. Charles came back for a walk through on my project and is doing touch ups and videos so I’m clear on caring for my new appliances . Outdoor Makeover and Living Spaces recently completed a makeover of my entire property - front yard, backyard, and side yards. Our property slopes from the front right corner down to the back left corner with several drainage challenges.

Since I intend to age in place, I was very frustrated by how sloped and slippery much of the yard was, and our dogs often came in so muddy from playing.

An old retaining wall was replaced on one side, and the dry creek bed was replaced on the other side, along with a lot of grading work, sod installation, creation of a new pathway, and the addition of landscape treads for stairs on the slopes, along with the beautification of new trees and shrubs.

My very knowledgeable designer and project manager, Will Cloud, came up with a plan that addressed all my concerns with creative, beautiful solutions. They were able to start quickly. I was so impressed with Santiago and his crew, who all worked happily from early till almost dark, with such skill and craftsmanship, especially on the stonework. I asked for a wooden bridge over the dry creek bed to a patio with a porch swing, and they created the most lovely spot.

Kirk Lord was available to smooth out a couple of rough spots, but overall communication was excellent throughout the project. I especially appreciated the videos Santiago and Will made as the project progressed, showing what was completed and noting the work to be done next. I appreciate everyone’s willingness to listen to my concerns and their dedication to making me tremendously happy with all aspects of my outdoor spaces.

This 5-star project almost didn't happen. We had several delays due to some staff turnover at OM and permitting issues. We are thrilled that we hung in there. I can't imagine any other team having delivered at such a high level. From the moment we were introduced to Shawn, everything on this project went right. He worked closely with me to nail down our design plan, and he was fully committed to making sure we were happy before moving forward. He also assured me that Charles would be our project manager, putting us in great hands.

Charles is the epitome of a great leader, and he is incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of his domain. He maintained communication at all times, keeping me informed of what would happen at each step -- which crews would be working and what they'd be working on. He was both reachable and responsive. When we encountered the occasional blip, he was fully accountable with an immediate commitment to making it right.

The highest quality materials were used. The workmanship of the team members was outstanding. We had a pretty massive project, and once we actually started, things went about as seamlessly as possible. And that is because we got it right in the planning phase (thanks to Shawn), and then Charles and the project team executed that plan beautifully. If Charles saw opportunities to make something even better, he shared those ideas with me. We are so grateful to our OM team for not only remediating years of erosion and subsequent degradation to the structural integrity of our decking, but also for taking it so far beyond that to creating a usable back yard — something we never thought would be possible based on the challenges our property presented. We went from our back yard being an embarrassing eyesore of a mud pit and rotting decking to a functional showpiece. Thank you OM!!!

PS: Our dog may just be the most satisfied customer in the family! It's his first time EVER having a yard to lounge in. The entire back yard was literally just dirt/mud prior. The transformation is nothing short of remarkable.

The scope included but was not limited to: replacing all wood decking with composite (rebuilding a two-story deck that includes a screened in porch); shoring up the supporting deck joists; building a wall on one side of the porch for a TV, adding a heater, new lighting, a new ceiling fan, all new screens, and custom porch doors with doggie doors; adding string lights and new lanterns to the lower deck; wrapping the deck posts in PVC; re-grading the property and building two stone retaining walls to create level lawn space; new perimeter landscaping; new perimeter and staircase lighting (that we can program the timing of); new steps on both sides of the house; creating a dry creek rock bed for water flow to stave off erosion; and new drainage.

In short we had an amazing experience. Jonathan, Bruce, and Oscar did an amazing job with the all of the details and the final design and the build exceeded our every expectations. They did an excellent communicating (and listening) to every question and modification. We are really happy we trusted the recommendations as each time our expectations were exceeded.
We are now enjoying our backyard for years to come and worth every penny.

I can’t say enough good things about Outdoor Makeover. From working with Shawn who helped make our vision pop even before we started, to working with Chuck as the project manager to solve issues, and especially working with Antonio and his crew we couldn’t have had a better experience. The whole team was so professional and talented. They worked with us to make the final project exactly what we wanted and actually even better!

We just had our backyard renovated by Outdoor Makeover and we are beyond happy. We had some trouble getting tree permits but once those were completed the team got to work right away and completed the project ahead of schedule. We had a great experience with our estimator Bryan, our PM Chuck, and our foreman Mala. The guys worked so hard every day, listened to us and made adjustments as needed. Communication was so easy every day through their app. They were able to send videos throughout the work day and we could respond with feedback and comments. We would highly recommend Outdoor Makeover for any landscaping project.

Had a great experience with Outdoor Makeover! From the design process with John truly understanding our needs, to the flawless execution led by Chuck and the team Oscar and Antonio. Communication is key in such projects, the fact that they create a Whatsapp group to keep the communication flow, and send videos at the end of each work day to show what was done, gave us the confidence that everything was being taken care of and the job well done. When a couple of challenges surfaced, the team was super responsive and quick to fix. Would definitely recommend this company and team. The project flow was excellent, with materials arriving on time, team keeping us informed of progress and timings, and even trash pick up. The one site crew works in a very efficient, clean and organized way. I am impressed myself, and very happy with the end result.
