If you want to spend a lot of money on terrible work this is who you need to call.

Had 17 pallets of zosyia installed. Weeks after installation I noticed the old bremuta coming back through. Now it's completely taken over by the Bremuda. Tony tried to sell me on its my neighbors fault because they have Bermuda and it crept over. With no fence line in between. But yet in the backyard where there it is completely surrounded by fence, with one neighbor having fescue and the other side having a river bed and pinestraw seperating the grass on their side of the fence a ton of Bermuda is everywhere. Eventually this will all have to be re done and more money spent.

During a conversation between Tony and myself I asked him shouldn't you spray weed killer on the whole lawn to kill the Bermuda first? Instead of just tilling it all in? His obvious response was no the tilling will get it all. Clearly not the case because if it were my back and front yard wouldn't be 50/50 Bermuda and zosyia.

Another fail comes in when installing garden and flower beds. When doing things properly they would include a layer of landscaping fabric in order to keep weeds at bay. Of course this also did not happen forcing me to spray weedkiller constantly as well as pick weeds from the bed. . Now I understand weeds will grow but at least give it a fighting chance.

Also let's not forget the over promising on work that never happened. There were supposed to be rocks put in at a small corner at the end of the yard. "OH yeah I'll take care of that for you". Is what is said just way to much, because it never happens.

Let's see what else? The hot tub pad that was installed looks very nice accept when setting the hot tub its not nearly level so all the water sits in one corner. Lovely!

Let's not mention how many times their truck "broke down" and job was constantly delayed, seriously I lost count.

Oh yeah I almost forgot. This company has worked at another property of ours. Installing sod in the front and back yards. Guess what? The sod in the backyard also had to be replaced (Clearly by another company) when the over promising of Tony came into play again here when he explained that they would be stopping by from time to time to check on the lawn to make sure everything was going well. Take a guess at what didn't happen... then later when confronted about that, the explanation was "yeah I had personal issues and dropped the ball on that one".

Anyone noticing a pattern here?

Also, the overcharging of the sod to begin with is just outrageous. This man tells me it cost $900 a pallet from the farm?!?! Of course I had to call a grass farm to inquire about this. Guess how much a pallet of zosyia cost? $450 so they have the nerve to charge twice as much for one pallet on top of the labor to install it? That's called highway robbery. I could have just as easily picked up the phone and had it delivered myself for half the cost!!

So I guess the moral of the story is if you love flushing money down the toilet this is who you need to call, of course if you do not. I suggest you look elsewhere.

Would you be happy with this sod installation? Jagged edges instead of square. Makes no sense. Company rep unresponsive.

Tony and his team were phenomenal. They provided an excellent service at a reasonable price. The final product came out better than we expected. We will be using Golden Season again in the future.

Update: Tony came back over to our property multiple times to check in on how the grass and yard were looking. He even made a small correction to the sod. This customer service is unmatched.

I had a simple landscaping job-some edging, sod install, pavers, mulch and shrubs. I'm very pleased with the job done. Pedro was very responsive, he explained my options, showed me images for ideas and answered all of my silly questions. I would definitely use Golden Season Landscaping again. I highly recommend.

I could not recommend Golden Season more! From the start Pedro provided great design ideas and reasonable pricing. They transformed our yard into an area our boys love playing in that also looks amazing. Our driveway also is no longer a swimming pool when it rains with the new drain system they installed. Great work, great communication, great pricing what else could you ask for!

The Golden Season Landscaping crew is amazing! Everyone is very kind and their work is impeccable! Their communication is great and their pricing is fair! Contract stated 2days to complete work, but they took two weeks. They did half the job in one day and I didn't hear back from them until I emailed asking when were they coming to finish the job. That's when they finally came out to the complete the other half two weeks later. They mismeasured the job and cut corners, so now the yard landscape is crooked.
The measurement was supposed to go the fence line, which was short 2.5ft x 75ft. They were supposed to provide instructions on how to maintain the sod, which I didn't get for nearly 3 weeks. So I went to YouTube to figure it out myself. The sod had obvious large holes and wasn't tightly butted together as it should be.
The contractor said the holes would "fill in" and apologized for the lack of communication and duration of time for the work and promised he would fertilize for free for two months. After a couple of emails, I figured he just didn't care, since he got paid in full. I never heard from him again. I did not get what I paid for.
I recommend hiring a different company if you want quality work completed.

Needed hedges in front of house removed for renovation. Golden Season responded quickly with reasonable price. This is the second time I have hired them and both times they did an excelent job.

This company is Heaven Sent! I have been searching for over a year for a reliable and consistent lawn service and finally, my prayers were answered! I am really blessed to have found Golden Season Landscaping! I do not know where to begin to tell how impressed I am with their services! They have such an amazing customer service, a quick response time, and high quality work! Once I found them on Yelp, they responded the same day to tell me they could come, whenever I'm ready, for a free quote. I wanted new sod along with regular lawn maintenance. I received a quote and was quite astonish with how their prices were very reasonable! Mrs. Gutierrez was so kind with answering all of my questions and remained very professional. I was sent a contract so I had a clear understanding of pricing and services. Her husband and his team, were also very professional and Mr. Gutierrez was very polite, very knowledgeable about my yard, and also told me to let him know if I had any questions while installing my new sod. Once done, I told Mr. Gutierrez that I use to mow my lawn a year ago and he told me that it was no longer my job, that now they'll take care of it! Again, this company is honest, highly reliable, professional, courteous, and highly recommendable! I am very pleased and happy with the outcome! I am really blessed to have found them and so would you!

We were originally happy with Golden Season Landscaping. They got back to us quickly, came to our home to give us an accurate and reasonable quote, and scheduling was flexible and easy.

Install went great with no major issues and the crew was very nice.

After it was installed we were told not to walk on it to damage it so it was difficult to take a close look at the end result. From where we could see we were happy and we made the final payment.

A few days later we were able to get a better look and became concerned at the quality of the grass. A lot of the sod pieces did not look very good (chunks of grass missing, mostly dead, and some pieces were heavy with weeds). We contacted golden season and sent images, but were reassured that it's normal and it will become much nicer with some time.

A few weeks later, we added sod to another part of our yard ourselves and the difference between this new sod and what golden season installed was night and day.

Because of this we reached out to golden season again and let them know. The owner came out and agreed with us that the sod he sourced was not very healthy and that it should be looking better. He offered to replace the worse looking sections.

After much reach out from our end they were finally able to replace the really bad spots, about 4 months later. In many of the remaining areas, the weeds have spread badly because it's taken so long for the grass to be thick enough to keep them out (even though we have been regularly using weed spray and pulling them).

Overall we're mostly happy with the end result, however, it was much more hassle and work then anticipated and the time it's taken to have this lawn put in defeats the purpose of installing sod vs plugs or a more economical option. We recognize the quality of the grass can sometimes be out of the control of the landscape company, but ultimately it's the most important component of a new lawn install and we believe a bit more quality assurance should have been done.

We are absolutely thrilled with the transformation Golden Seasons Landscaping did on our yard! From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and exceeded our expectations. Tony and his team installed beautiful Zeon Zoysia sod, irrigation, added a stunning new walkway, and placed landscaping stone around our deck that tied everything together perfectly.
