Zurn Plumbing Service

I employed Zurn Plumbing to re-run a gas line in my kitchen as well as cap an existing island sink. For the most part the work that they provided was fine. However, when cleaning up I realized that they had removed and taken the island sink faucet. This was after he asked if I wanted him to remove the sink and faucet and I said to just leave it. He said "are you sure" and I said yes, just leave it. I emailed the office on a Sunday and they called back the next day. The clerk that I spoke to said that they would be dropping off the faucet to me. When I asked why he took it, the response was "I'm not Eric, you'll have to ask him yourself." I told him that I thought it was something that they should handle as a company at which time he said that he would speak to his manager. I will not employ Zurn to do any more work on my house.

I called Zurn plumbing to help me unclog a sink drain They were very good and came out right away. The tech arrived and he and I came up with a plan to not only unclog the sink but also clean out a 3 inch perpendicular main. He ran a snake from upstairs shower and unclogged kitchen sink then started packing up. I asked him isn’t he going to check the 3 inch drain to make sure it’s clear as well ? No it’s OK it’s clear now . It will take too long to drain out 3” drain. Then I was presented with a $417 bill less 30 special. I called Zurn and complained that I thought the fee was too high for an hour service. An argument ensued about the area pricing for this type of work. A distastefull in your face refund was given. Two days later, all hell broke loose with water everywhere. I called back and they suggested I call someone else rather than fess up to their callous attitude and faulty workmanship by their tech. I finally call Pink Plumber, which came out within 2 hours. They cleaned the drain, but this time, scoped the 3” drain, ( plan original by Zurn ) and it too was clogged with grease and egg shells. P. P. spent an additional hour reaming out main pipe verified by camera scope. They were awesome . I hope Zurn can learn something about their protocol and become a professional plumbing company in the future.

This group gets 2 stars for easy scheduling and quick turnaround from initial call to coming out but the plumber sent out actually left us with more issues than we started with. Very friendly but didnt seem very knowledgeable - we had a leak staining our ceiling under our master bathroom and he said it was probably us leaning on the toilet as we flushed it which might make sense for our kids but we caught water dripping after when no one would have been leaning on it to flush. He "tightened a few things" and if the issue continued we needed to replace the toilet tank. The next day I see water spots on the plastic covering the ceiling hole - got another plumbing company out here - they confirmed it was not the tank and recaulked some of the toilet and no more water spots.

They also did a "full inspection" and found a valve that needed replaced on our water tank which we agreed to but then our powder room toilet would keeping running because of the new water pressure valve. I asked them to come back out and fix it which they did but $800 later I just feel like I got taken for a ride instead of actually getting a service.
