I got a quote in June and good for 90 days. I was ready July 22nd. Jerry answered my questions prior to the appointment. They have a great team and worked in sync. Everyone pulled their weight and was completed by 2 o’clock. I highly recommend DeKalb Tree Service.

I had the pleasure of hiring Heflin Tree Services after a recent storm hit the neighborhood pretty hard me and my neighbor both lucked up and used there services for tree removal and the removal of the limbs that damaged a fence in the backyard. Thanks again for such quality service.

Disappointing. I called them for an estimate and they scheduled to come out during a window of 7am-8am (their choosing). I asked, "you sure that's not too early for you guys?" "No, we'll be there", he responded. The day of the scheduled estimate no one shows up during the window, and no one called to cancel or say if they we're running late. At 8:56am I get a text saying, "Good morning...Heflin Tree Service in route for your estimate". I receive a call from them at 9:35am. He's saying that they're being re-routed through Atlanta due to traffic patterns. When I ask why he's calling me now, so late after the appointment, he says he called me at 8:30 and left me a message. He didn't. No missed calls. I've been up since 6:30am waiting WITH MY PHONE on me, on alert. (If you've ever experienced someone lying to you, when you know you're right, you'll understand the insult to injury when he said he called me.) Where was the call to say you wouldn't be there at 7am? Where was the call to say you wouldn't be there at 8am? In the least, he should have called me in that 7:00-8:00am window and been transparent about their delay and ask if we could push the appointment back. You don't text somebody an hour AFTER you were supposed to show up and they just say I'm on the way - no apologies and no regard as to whether you're infringing on another appointment I have for the day.

It's hard to consider a business "professional" if they can't keep appointments, don't put a premium on communication or customer service, and don't follow through.

I try to support black-owned business as often as possible. However, it's practices and outcomes like this that make it very challenging to keep business 'in the community'. Sorry guys, I definitely can't recommend you and I gotta talk about ya. This is just sloppy.

Remember, the lifetime value of a customer is not just how much they spend with you directly, but also the amount of friends, family, or neighbors they will refer to you.

Keep your word and honor your commitments; or in the least offer to make things right. That's what your counterparts are doing, and that's how they're earning your lost business. Get it together folks.

They arrived early, were respectful of my property, informative about anything questionable on their part making sure that I was aware beforehand & just respectful themselves. It was a pleasant experience! I referred someone to them on the same day, which was yesterday.

My family used this company a few weeks ago to cut down a couple of trees and we were extremely disappointed in their service. The employees consistently used profane language in the presence of my elderly parents, they were several hours late each day which led them to rush through the project so that they could work during daylight hours, and they damaged the lawn and other property. One of the greatest concerns is that they left beer bottles all over our yard and they should not have been drinking beer while executing this kind of service. We were left to clean up their mess and survey damage to our property as well as our neighbors’ property.

Last, before writing this review, we reached out to the company and several promises were made to fix their errors. Since then, they have not been responsive which resulted in this review.

I emphatically implore upon you NOT to use this service. If you do, you should evaluate your lawn to be sure that there is no damage before you pay them. You should also take before and after pictures so that you have proof of any damage that they cause.
