I've had Michael H. do several largish jobs at the house and I am very pleased with his technical skills, work ethic, and professionalism. Always explains his diagnosis, the options and related costs. Responses quickly and answers question competently. He also will point out other related potential issues or concerns without any pressure. Not the cheapest, nor the most expensive...but reliable, efficient and trustworthy. I high recommend Michael H. at Progressive Plumbing.

It was a last minute decision since Atlanta is supposed to get a major ice storm within the next 3 days. My husband called Progressive Plumbing to have gas install to hook up our new generator just in case electricity goes out expect the worst. They met with my husband I am guessing the owner and the owners son came out gave an estimate they left to purchase the needed part came back and had it installed it only took them between 30 to 45 minutes. The price was reasonable since it was a last minute decision. Professional company from the return phone call to coming out as promised to speaking with the owner and getting the job done quickly in less than a day. So far I am plessed with there work. I will use them again in the future and definitely will refer to friends and family.

We woke up this morning to our master shower upstairs leaking into the office downstairs again! We had the issue repaired a few months ago by another company, but unfortunately the problem came back. Since we didn’t want to use them again, we called Progressive Plumbing.
They told us the plumber wouldn’t arrive until 12pm at the earliest, but by 11:30am the job was already finished and he was on his way out the door!
Daniel did an incredible job!! He was professional, kind, and explained everything clearly. Best of all, he fixed the issue in a way that should prevent it from happening again by replacing the previous PVC repair with copper piping.
We couldn’t be more thankful for the fast response and excellent work. Thank you, Daniel, for your kindness and outstanding service! We will definitely be using Progressive Plumbing again and recommending you to everyone we know. -
Michael did an absolutely amazing job fixing the shower head drip in our master bathroom! From the moment he arrived, he was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained what was causing the drip, and fixed it efficiently without any hassle.
Not only did he solve the problem, but he also made sure everything was cleaned up perfectly before he left. The shower is working flawlessly now , no more annoying drip!
If you’re looking for someone reliable, skilled, and trustworthy, Michael is your guy. Highly recommend his services and will definitely be calling him again for any future needs! -
We had one toilet repaired. Michael was thorough and fast. He is personable and presented analysis and pricing quickly.

Daniel , the owner, went above and beyond to make things right and clear up some issues with my master bathtub that kept leaking. I would recommend - they stand by their work. Edited to say the faucet is broken again several months later

This is the first negative review I’ve ever left on Google, and it genuinely pains me to write it because I think this company operates with good intentions. However, Progressive sent a technician named Daniel to my home in Berkeley Lake to replace an old garbage disposal with a new ¾-horsepower InSinkErator unit that I had already purchased from Amazon.
The job took about one hour, yet I was charged $680 just for labor to remove the old disposal and install the new one. My previous disposal used a countertop-mounted air switch (flush with the granite), and the new unit didn’t come with its own switch. When I asked about installing one, I was quoted an additional $150 for a return visit the next day — bringing the total to $830 for what should have been a straightforward swap.
In hindsight, I should have confirmed the price up front, but I had no idea the labor alone would cost that much. For comparison, most plumbers in this area charge between $300 and $450 total for a standard replacement with an air switch.
The technician was polite and professional, but the pricing felt excessive for the scope of the work. If you choose this company, make sure you get a clear, written estimate before any work begins. -
The star is for phone courtesy and scheduling. Otherwise, I lost a lot of money. I asked for them to snake the shower, (bubbling in toilet & tub when showering) check the vent pipe and snake the toilets downstairs. They NEVER snaked the shower or check the vent pipe, but 5 times showed me a picture of a white disc in drain pipe. 2 days later my neighbor snaked the shower and brought up a hair mass as big as a rat. Also had the county check and they said everything was fine and saw a small dip in pipe which was normal for 31yr old home. A few days later, problem was showing up again. Called different plumber they also sent camera and there was NO DISC. NEVER WAS!! They air pumped the toilet and all is working. I am a widow, single. Ruined my holidays. I think they resented my knowledge and research.
