We had a downed tree resting on another downed tree, which was resting on one fence and hanging over another fence. Most guys didn't want to touch this job.

We had an amazing experience with Oak Hill Arborist. They worked nonstop all day in our side and backyard removing dead trees and clearing out overgrown areas. Their work ethic was truly impressive. What stood out most was their attention to detail; every little thing was cleaned up at the end, even down to excess twigs. Our property looked better than we could have imagined.

Matt has been great to work with! He and his team have been professional and reliable. They have handled a few tree removal jobs for us, including an intricate tree removal of a huge dead tree looming directly over our roof, and the full clearing of fire-damaged trees, leaving the cleared property looking great after. Oak Hill Arborist was also accommodating while we navigated specific requirements/paperwork from our insurance company. Communication was clear, scheduling was smooth, and the work was completed exactly as promised. I would highly recommend them.

The BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE! Matthew and his team were awesome. They cut down a tree that had damaged my drive. They also cut and cleared my backyard of the nagging GA vegetation. The backyard looks totally different and freed up a lot of space.

First time using this company.... needing mulching on the land and they really came through. First off they are veteran owned which we always try to support and they did a phenomenal job! You can see the before picture and after video. Great price and you can tell they take pride in their work! We will definitely have more mulching done with them in the very near future! Just had these guys do my trees on last Friday. They raised the canopy, removed some trees, cleaned up after themselves, were very respectful, careful, came when they said they would and were reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again. Before and after photos showing just a small part of the project. They did so much more.

Had three trees that we wanted to be removed, and had in fact gotten several quotes and had even settled on one but couldn’t get it finalized. While trying to work through the details Mathew called and said that he was outside so I said why not see what he’s talking about. The prize he quoted was great and when I tell you the work that his crew preformed was top notch, that’s an understatement. It started to rain while these guys were working and they still didn’t miss a beat. If you’re looking to have any tree work done give Mathew a call.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Oak Hill Arborist! From start to finish, the entire experience was professional, efficient, and truly outstanding. The team came out to remove a number of large trees and trim back a lot of branches that had been hanging dangerously close to the house. They cut down about 3-5 large trees and trimmed branches on at least 20 others. Not only did they handle the work safely and skillfully, but they also left the property looking absolutely flawless.

I have a large property, around 3 acres, and they got the entire property done in about seven hours, and they did an incredible job. Their attention to detail was amazing, they were attentive to what I asked of their services, and the clean-up was quick and efficient.

Also, the crew was super kind and courteous. They brought a huge crew of guys out who were very knowledgeable about what they were doing and passionate about their work. It’s rare to find a company that combines such high-level expertise with genuine care for both the property and the customer.

The best part was the price. They were so much cheaper compared to other companies I looked at locally. And with such a large crew who got the work done so quickly, it was a fantastic deal.

,, ,Ron was very professional. his crew was great. they had some amazing tools, including a Grappler cutter crane. with it, they could grab onto a branch and a chainsaw would come out and cut the branch and then they could bring it down without any risk to our property. this was really important to us because we had huge branches right over our garage.

TLDR: professional, efficient and well worth the money. Removed 18 trees and all debris in a single day. Would hire again without getting other estimates.
I got estimates from nearly a dozen different companies to have 18 trees removed. Most of the trees were 12” sweet gums, a few trees were 12-18” and there was a 24” sweet gum, and a beastly 36-48” white oak. It’s important to note that about half of the companies I got quotes from carried both liability and workers comp insurance, the other only carried liability. The quotes I received ranged from $6k-$10k. Ron’s wasn’t the cheapest, and I didn’t expect it be as he carries both liability and workers comp insurance, but it definitely seemed like the best value for the price.
Other companies I got estimates from told me it would take at least 2 days to complete the job (though they did say they charged by the hour). Ron and his 5 man team arrived about 5 minutes early, which is always a positive for me, and stayed past 5:30 to ensure they completed the job in 1 day. When I say completed the job, I don’t mean just felling all the trees, I mean they chipped all they could, removed the logs that couldn’t be chipped, cleaned the entire yard of any kind of debris that came from the trees, and flattened the wood chips to prevent any drainage issues. They not only used blowers to clean as they went but were out there with rakes, and occasionally got on hands and knees to clean up. They honestly left my yard cleaner than it was before they arrived.
The team was professional, safety oriented, courteous, respectful, and efficient. Before moving their equipment to where they needed it, to make their job easier (not easy, but easier) they asked permission to remove some natural obstacles, and worked around what couldn’t be removed.
They used gear to reduce negative impact on my yard when they moved their heavy machinery through my yard. Afterwards I didn’t find any areas that the grass was torn up, a very narrow depression from the truck tires but nothing I need to fix.
Overall I am thoroughly impressed with the service provided and would hire Ron’s tree service again if I need anymore trees removed, without wasting my time getting other estimates, there’s simply no point. If you are in need of a tree removal service the I highly recommend Ron’s tree service.
