Byrd Electric is a friendly, reliable electrical company. The came out and fixed my generator problem. They were on time and courteous, and performed excellent work.

We had a small but tricky repair. Our meter box had come loose. We called Byrd. They scheduled us within a week. The power company was dropping power as the Byrd electrician pulled in. Good timing!
Work was done quickly and most professionally at a very reasonable price. .
We are pleased and can honestly recommend them to all.

I have to revisit my previous great review with some new information. Byrd Electric has been to my home several times over the past year. We were doing a remodel and rack time they sent the same guy for continuity.

This time I called they advised the regular guy was no longer with them and that it would be, at least, three weeks before they could come out. Since other contractors were standing by, we were forced to hire another company.

When they came in they discovered two code violations that had been installed by the Byrd electrician which had to be corrected prior to them continuing the process.

Turns out that Byrd not being responsive was a good thing in that I was able to correct previous mistakes.

Terry couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy with the repair. Andrew stayed in touch with timing and coordination of the service call. Prices were reasonable and he didn't leave until we were completely satisfied. He showed me pictures of all the work he did and cleaned everything up, we will use Byrd anytime we have needs in the future!

Byrd Electric Service recently did some electrical work at my home. When I called to schedule the appointment, I spoke to Nicoda she was very helpful in getting me on the scheduling as soon as possible. Yates, the electrician that did the work was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. I know Byrd Electric has been in business for years and now I know why, GREAT SERVICE. They will be my go-to company for all future electrical projects.

Called Byrd Electric to complete installation of a new lift. Appointment set for 1 week out, which I expected these days, They called back within a few hours and moved our installation up to 2 days and were to arrive about lunch. They actually arrived 1st thing that morning and completed it by lunch.
Excellent service and Glenn was very courteous and professional.
Definitely recommended!

Landon and Tyson were on time and very professional. They helped us get in contact with the Electric Company to fix the meter.
They completed all the work , cleaned the job site and even wired our Nest Doorbell avoiding a service call from the security company. Would recommend!!

I had such a great experiance working with this company. I've been renovating a small cabin in Ellijay and live out of state. It's been a challenge to find good contractors that stay in touch are actually licenced/insured and are timely. My other electrician basically set up my hot tub hook up then ghosted me but kept telling me he would finish the rest of the job, finally I told him I had to find someone else... I went to google and Byrd Electric had popped up. They have a legitimate website and great reviews... Andrew the owner picked up on the first ring and was super helpful and worked with my schedule. Tyson and Landon were at the property on time, we super efficient and patient with my questions and requests. I left before they were done but did swing back by before heading out of town and they cleaned as well. They left the place cleaner than when they walked in. I just had the pleasure of talking with Nicoda who manages the office. She was also awesome. I have them coming out again to take care of some other stuff and will have my parents reach out for some electrical work they need done at their cabin as well. I can not recommend them enough. I wish they could handle my entire reno and not just the electric :)

Used Byrd Electric in February 22 to replace damaged mast pole, in January 23 to replace light fixture and again in January to split electrical circuit. Pleased with each repair. Workers seemed focused on most economical fix. Very pleased with last appointment with Michael and Noah. Definitely recommend. Easy to schedule and all around professional.

Great company Landon and Tyson were on time, professional and polite. Very good electricians. I thought it would take 2 days to do all I needed. They were done in about 5-6 hours. I highly recomrnend , especially Landon and Tyson. Thrilled with their work, work ethic and knowledge

This company is great! They had a cancellation and fit me in right away. The electricians were great and the work was completed in an efficient manner at a reasonable cost. I had an issue with a credit card payment fee that they rectified with profuse apology and prompt refund. I'm very happy with the work they did and will use them again in a heartbeat. Do give them a try. I know you'll be pleased with their service!

I have nothing to say but great customer service, from making my appointment to having them call me when they were on the way. Everything done was top notch. Had to make a second appointment after some of the materials were defective and again easy to make an appointment, Heather was very nice and understanding. Glen did a great job installing my ceiling fan and pairing the remote. He was pleasant and professional. Highly recommend this company!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Byrd electrical. They arrived on time on the day they said they would. The reminder text was a nice touch. The technician, Glen, was friendly and attentive. He fixed the problem quickly. I will use them again when needed and recommend them to anyone.

I called Byrd to correct some mistakes made by a previous contractor, and update some additional things around the house. They arrived promptly and did a great job for a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again.

I recently sought a quote from Byrd Electric Services for the rewiring of a 4,000 square foot home. However, I was taken aback when they presented me with an estimate of $65,000, which notably did not even include the cost of light fixtures. This figure seemed exorbitant and out of line with the market standard, as I had received multiple quotes for the same service ranging from $20,000 to $27,000.

The disparity between Byrd Electric Services' quote and those of other providers was nothing short of astonishing. Given the substantial difference in pricing and the omission of essential components such as lighting, I found their proposal to be unreasonable and quite frankly, outrageous. I am always one to say you do get what you pay for but the cost of this felt me and the company I work for feeling as though they were attempting to take advantage of the situation at hand.

I did give them 3 stars as I feel that I did not fully review their company as we only received a quote. I wholeheartedly believe that there's always room for growth and I don't believe in not being fair and giving someone a one star when I did not receive the actual service. I aim to educate others of my experience to possibly prevent from them going through the same issue.

As a result, I cannot in good conscience recommend Byrd Electric Services, particularly given the concerning disparity in their pricing. It is my hope that this feedback will prompt the company to review and reassess their pricing practices to ensure they align more closely with industry standards and expectations along with being fair and reasonable for their customers.

I had some general repairs that needed done as well as some more complicated issues resulting from the way renovations were done in the past. Frank quickly fixed the general repairs and then carefully explored the more complicated ones. He was upfront that he wasn't sure he could fix those, but he came back with the parts I needed and was able to restore light to areas where I hadn't had it for over two years. Everyone I've dealt with at Byrd's, from Frank the awesome technician, to the office staff are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this company.

We have had work done by Byrd twice now, and have never had any issues. They make every process easy, from getting an appointment to paying your bill. The quality of work matches the good service.

Superior service. We are very happy with our Byrd Electric installed whole house generator. Mr. Byrd surveyed our needs, made affordable and sound recommendations, and answered all of our questions. Final cost of installation was as quoted. His team of electricians was polite, prompt, and proficient. They thoroughly cleaned up after their work and followed up to make sure the generator was working properly. Well done!

Called Byrd for a non-emergency outlet installation in our block wall basement. Had us on the schedule within a week. Mike was professional and on time and sweet with our talkative 3 year old. He also answered a ton of questions about our upcoming kitchen renovation and put my mind at ease. Byrd is unashamedly on the top end of the budget, but you get what you pay for- excellent, quality service. We'll continue to use Byrd Electric for the remainder of our many projects.
