We had a wonderful experience with Byrd electrical. They arrived on time on the day they said they would. The reminder text was a nice touch. The technician, Glen, was friendly and attentive. He fixed the problem quickly. I will use them again when needed and recommend them to anyone.

I called Byrd to correct some mistakes made by a previous contractor, and update some additional things around the house. They arrived promptly and did a great job for a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again.

I recently sought a quote from Byrd Electric Services for the rewiring of a 4,000 square foot home. However, I was taken aback when they presented me with an estimate of $65,000, which notably did not even include the cost of light fixtures. This figure seemed exorbitant and out of line with the market standard, as I had received multiple quotes for the same service ranging from $20,000 to $27,000.

The disparity between Byrd Electric Services' quote and those of other providers was nothing short of astonishing. Given the substantial difference in pricing and the omission of essential components such as lighting, I found their proposal to be unreasonable and quite frankly, outrageous. I am always one to say you do get what you pay for but the cost of this felt me and the company I work for feeling as though they were attempting to take advantage of the situation at hand.

I did give them 3 stars as I feel that I did not fully review their company as we only received a quote. I wholeheartedly believe that there's always room for growth and I don't believe in not being fair and giving someone a one star when I did not receive the actual service. I aim to educate others of my experience to possibly prevent from them going through the same issue.

As a result, I cannot in good conscience recommend Byrd Electric Services, particularly given the concerning disparity in their pricing. It is my hope that this feedback will prompt the company to review and reassess their pricing practices to ensure they align more closely with industry standards and expectations along with being fair and reasonable for their customers.

I had some general repairs that needed done as well as some more complicated issues resulting from the way renovations were done in the past. Frank quickly fixed the general repairs and then carefully explored the more complicated ones. He was upfront that he wasn't sure he could fix those, but he came back with the parts I needed and was able to restore light to areas where I hadn't had it for over two years. Everyone I've dealt with at Byrd's, from Frank the awesome technician, to the office staff are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this company.

We have had work done by Byrd twice now, and have never had any issues. They make every process easy, from getting an appointment to paying your bill. The quality of work matches the good service.

We needed someone to come out to our STR right away. I called Byrd Electric and Dakota was awesome- she fit us in that day! Michael was the electrician that came out and he resolved the issue right away. We will be using them again!

Superior service. We are very happy with our Byrd Electric installed whole house generator. Mr. Byrd surveyed our needs, made affordable and sound recommendations, and answered all of our questions. Final cost of installation was as quoted. His team of electricians was polite, prompt, and proficient. They thoroughly cleaned up after their work and followed up to make sure the generator was working properly. Well done!

Called Byrd for a non-emergency outlet installation in our block wall basement. Had us on the schedule within a week. Mike was professional and on time and sweet with our talkative 3 year old. He also answered a ton of questions about our upcoming kitchen renovation and put my mind at ease. Byrd is unashamedly on the top end of the budget, but you get what you pay for- excellent, quality service. We'll continue to use Byrd Electric for the remainder of our many projects.

Tyson at Byrd electric did a great job at running the electric wire for my well to my house and installing the breaker. He also installed my pump and wired it up as well. He was very knowledgeable and very detailed. Would recommend him again for any electrical needs

Byrd Electric is what other companies should strive to be. A great company with great employees. They treat their customers the way they would want to be treated. I called them and was able to book an appointment within a reasonable time period. They sent me emails and texts confirming my appointment. Jason called the day before to understand the nature of the job and what materials might be needed to make sure they were efficient when they arrived. The day of, both Jason and Chris called to let me know they were on their way. When they arrived, they were professional, courtesy, friendly, polite and a real pleasure to work with. It took several days to complete the work and my experience was the same each time and with everyone that came out. Jason, Chris, Jeff and Yates were all great to work with, and I wouldn't think about using anyone else for my electrical needs moving forward. A great company with old school values. Much appreciated in today's world.

We had a Byrd Electric come out yesterday and install two chandeliers. Not only did Jeff install them but he did a great job assembling the large, intricate chandelier. It was detailed work that took a lot of patience. He did an outstanding job! He was also clean cut, professional and extremely polite. My husband and I felt safe with him in our home, which is very important these days. This was the second time we have hired electricians from Byrd and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

Jeff was exceptional. He arrived on time, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He had to trouble shoot a major problem with our new home. He found the issue, installed additional breaker, separated the lines out to handle 2 dead shorts as well as redirecting the original breaker lines. He was efficient, knowledgeable, personable, and professional. We have used this company in the past with our company and they have always had quality work. Would definitely recommend this company. I would recommend Byrd Electric company as a one that puts the customer first. They were great at getting an appointment for service and the tech did come on-time. Only issue I had was that the tech seemed to take a long-time finishing (using too small of PVC - hard to get wire through) making the bill much higher than the estimate. After working with Nicoda, she took care of the issue and came to an agreement to keep both satisfied. Would have been 5 stars I believe if we had a different tech.

Jeff & Chris helped me out earlier this week with a “rush” electrical issue. They were great! Prompt, skilled, friendly, & professional. That has always been my experience in having used Byrd on multiple occasions.

Byrd is the best!

Follow-up: I had a second Byrd Electric service visit a couple of weeks later. This time, Glen and Chris were on site to install multiple kitchen lights. Once again, great service and quality at a very fair price! They more than met my expectations!

Byrd Electric Services came out to help us in a pinch and they have worked hard for us time and again. They have saved the day for us multiple times in troubleshooting issues, fixing things that were not properly done by previous electrician and helping to get our remodel project to code and complete in a professional, timely, courteous and cost effective manner. So thankful today for Jeff & Byrd Electric Services! We needed quick response to repair a lift chair. Jeff arrived within 2 or 3 hours. He got the chair repaired quickly and then took care of a couple of other minor issues we were having in the bathroom with a vent fan and light. Jeff was friendly, quick, efficient, and respectful of our home. Thank you all!

I contacted Byrd Electric to remove and install a new chandelier in my lake house. They showed up right on time for the appointment. Unfortunately, I was missing some parts for the instillation witch had not come in. The technician told me not to worry they would reschedule my appointment the following week when all the parts would be present. There was no additional service charge.

When the group returned the second time, they were prepared and proceeded with neatness and efficiency to remove the old chandelier and hang up the new one. The job was quite difficult and somewhat complicated because the new chandelier was an antique witch had to have special wiring.. Several items of furniture had to be removed to complete the job and the technicians were gentle with the furniture and fixtures witch they replaced all back to their original spot. They were extremely courteous and neat.

In todays time with all the hustle and bustle going on it was so much of a pleasure to have Byrd's electrical technicians work in my home on my project that I had to write this review. I will certainly use Byrd Electric for my future electronic needs.

It is my pleasure to give the highest level review of Noah with Byrd Electric. If you have been in North Georgia for any length of time you will recognize how amazing and great this is: he came right when I had been promised that he would when I scheduled my appointment! No prompting, unreturned calls, or begging required! That was just the beginning of my good experience. He was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. He successfully completed the work I needed done, and was pleasant to deal with the entire time. Great job Noah!

From start to finish Byrd did a great job. They were on time for the appointment for the estimate and answered all my questions, They were on time for the install and did a great job. I even requested additional work for installation of GFRI outlets after they arrived - no problem. They will be my go to company for all my electrical needs.
