Georgia Oak Landscaping was the best decision for having work done in our yard. We had a lot of standing water and even erosion. We initially had erosion to the side of the house but decided we also wanted pavers in the backyard so we tackled both. From the initial consult to the finished work everything went smooth. Had many companies not show up or simply take a week and even two to send out a quote. Brandon was prompt at coming out and giving a quote. We had a small retention wall placed at the front along with huge natural stones and river rocks. To the back we had about 800sq ft of pavers installed along with a retention wall. Besides that all the gutters ran underground with pvc piping and ran towards the back of the house. Work was done in a week. We absolutely love our yard. If you need work done, give them a try. Price was very reasonable. This was done 10 months ago.

I hired Georgia Oak Landscaping to replace a retaining wall on my property. The old wall was made of rotting railroad ties, and they replaced it with concrete paver blocks. I am very pleased with the work that was done. Brandon (the owner) is responsive and easy to work with; the work was completed promptly; and the finished wall looks great. The company's quoted price was also very competitive among the four bids that I received. I would definitely hire Georgia Oak again for future projects. This company charges $35 to give an estimate, but the fee was subtracted from the initial deposit when I decided to hire the company. Very highly recommended.

We were getting really frustrated in dealing with contractors, either they didn't answer, they didn't show up or they didn't ever send us a quote. That was when I found GA Oak Landscaping and I gave Brandon a call.
I called Brandon and was pleasantly surprised that he answered the phone right away. I told him that we wanted to get an estimate on our retaining wall and some possible hardscapes. He told me that there is a $35 fee for estimates and I paused, since he was the first person to ask us to pay a fee for estimates. Of course my initial reaction was not to pay for an estimate, but then I thought about it and realized that $35 is not very much money and that he is probably charging a fee to make sure that people are actually serious about getting some landscaping work done. So I agreed and was very excited to find out that he gives estimates on the spot.
We would pay every contractor $35 if they would respond to us, show up and give us an estimate on the spot!
Brandon came and gave us a fair estimate and thus convinced us to do the total work that we were considering. Now that we know him better, I can say that we feel like he's a nice and honest person.
Brandon had Candido and his crew come and install the retaining walls, flagstone paths, flagstone patio and pavestone patios. We have some old stone hardscapes that are possibly as old as the property, so we wanted the new stone work to be solid and reliable, but we also wanted it to blend with the original stone. The GA Oak crew came and did a beautiful job with the installations! They are well built and they look rustic enough to blend with our original stone.
We are very happy with GA Oak Landscaping! We recommend them and we will continue to use them. If you need any hardscapes work done, figure out what you want and give Brandon a call! -
I can’t express how much we appreciate Brandon and his crew. These guys are incredible! My neighbor and I have been trying to find a company to fix our very worn out retaining wall (made of railroad ties) for half a year. Most of our quotes were way too expensive or would have been pushed back several months before completion. Our wall was falling apart, and we knew we needed to get this done ASAP. I actually found Brandon through a post on NextDoor, and didn’t even see the reviews before calling. I knew from the phone conversation, this man knows his walls, and he was going to give me an honest quote. Not only was Brandon’s team punctual (it only took them 2.5 days to complete an 80+ ft wall), but they were extremely professional and kind. They are experts at retaining walls, and it shows through their craftsmanship. Plus, their quotes are very competitive. Brandon does charge a $35 fee to come out initially for the estimate. Do not be intimidated by this! It’s worth it. He’s not one of those sales people wasting your time. He’s an expert in this field. If you work with his company, he doesn’t even charge that $35, and if you don’t, at least you know you have a legitimate good quote and advice on your wall. What I love about his crew is the little things that they do to really show care and their passion for this job. My fence was falling over due to the previous railroad ties compromised structure. His team added in concrete to stable my fence after the wall was completed. They also added a wonderful drain box, and sod on the lawn! One of his crew even brought my trash receptacle from the curb while I was at work! I’m so happy to have found his company. I will definitely be referring him to other friends and neighbors. His company is local, and I’m all about supporting our GA small businesses.

Based on all of the positive reviews I read about Georgia Oak Landscaping, I called them to quote the replacement of my old, rotting railroad tie retaining wall. Brandon came out within a day or two to look over the project, we discussed a couple different scenarios and came up with a plan that fit my budget. He and project leader Arturo returned a few days later to finalize the new wall plan, and work started the following week. Minor miscommunication about which day, but that was resolved immediately, and the crew was here the following day! Arturo and his crew are incredible! They completed the project in two and a half days (Brandon told me it would take 5-6 days), which I thought was incredibly fast as my wall extends the entire length of my backyard. Watching them work was quite a lesson in craftsmanship, and I could not be more pleased with my new wall. Highly recommend this company.

Georgia Oak Landscaping installed a new retaining wall, a paver walkway, patio and enclosing fence. They also installed boulder steps to provide safe access to a a steep backyard. We are delighted with the results! Brandon and Carolina were very responsive to our questions and let us know what to expect throughout the process. Arturo and his crew were very professional and cleaned up the job site at the end of each work day. We would highly recommend them!

From the owner, Brandon, to the foreman, Candido, down to the rest of the crew, they were a total joy to work with. Charged a small fee to come out and give quote, but totally understandable, as time and gas is not free. Once we decided to go with Georgia Oak Landscaping to replace our retaining wall, I was charged a reasonable, none refundable deposit, subtracting the money paid to come out for the estimate. No rush to get the work done.
I waited almost a year, but when I contacted Brandon and let him know we were ready, Candido came out to make sure we were on the same page on what was quoted and what we expected. They were able to get us scheduled rather quickly.
They knocked out the job in a couple of days. Looks phenomenal, and I know it was built right. The wall will be standing.long after I am gone. When done, they washed off the driveway and new stone wall. Totally cleaned the site I could not be happier. Total professionalism and phenomenal work. I highly recommend!
I have added some before and after photos. -
Landscaping: new retaining wall and upgraded our deck railing and lighting.
Wonderful job and attention to detail. Brandon and Carolina were very professional, easy to work with and kept us informed throughout the on-site project. The crew was fantastic, with final cleanup exceptional... especially with all the recent rain. We selected them because of their great reviews on Google and they didn't disappoint. They ARE a five star service!!!! -
Overall I had a great experience with a great company. Called about my retaining wall since it was breaking down, they came out and assessed and gave me an estimate which I expected to be pretty high but it was reasonable given the job size. Even allowed for credit card use. The only issue I really had was some communication wasn't relayed on the timing of the job, but a simple text to the owner and I heard back by the next day and still got it all done in a few weeks time. Would highly recommend.

We had a small, rotting, leaning retaining wall that needed replaced, but also wanted to extend the usable space in our backyard which was a big slope.
Brandon (owner) came to the house when others quoted over the phone. We walked the yard and talked about two options-
1. Replacing the railroad tie wall with block about the same size
2. Extending the wall so that we could backfill and level a large section of the yard
We opted for #2 and are so happy we did. Georgia Oak Landscaping walked me through the entire project and the pricing. They estimated a week for the job, then I ended up adding in a paver patio with fire pit. The whole job took a week and a half, with the crew leaving the yard and driveway exactly like they found it. They threw down grass seed and straw where the bobcat needed to work and where the new earth is.
We're so happy with the work, the price, and how quickly it was all done. Brandon, Arturo and the crew absolutely crushed it and we're thrilled with the results. I would highly recommend Georgia Oak Landscaping for any retaining wall or landscaping project. -
We are very happy with the work that the Georgia Oak team did. The work was really well done, and the materials all seem very good and sturdy. The team was very clear on what their plan was, and listened to us about what we wanted. We absolutely love our new patio and can’t wait to host more outdoor parties. The work was done quickly, less than a week. The price was very good, and significantly less than another company we had received an estimate from.
