Fix My Appliance was introduced to us by 2-10HBW to fix an Electrolux microwave. This company is incompetent and the techs are liars. A tech came by to collect $100 and said he will place an order for a motor for microwave turntable. The tech postponed the appointment with an excuse that he was missing a part which was in another car. Come on, how many parts does a microwave turntable need? The tech was scheduled to show up on Saturday 10-12 pm but he postponed to 2-5pm only to postponed it again to Sunday. We waited for his call all day Sunday and he was no show. When we called the tech, he said he thought he would come on Monday. On Monday he would not pick up his phone and the office denied of any appointment. We filed a complaint to 2-10 and was told by 2-10 later that FMA closed the account saying that they came by the house 4 times and we weren’t present. What a BS! The microwave was a microwave-oven combo and obviously FMA was incapable to fixing it or decided that it was not worth the time, but lying about coming by the house 4 times? For their reference, I have video records of all activities around the house and only time they ever came was the initial access event and to collect $100! This company should be avoided at all cost!

I had so much trouble with my home warranty company (HWA) but this company got my dryer issue taken care of! We were waiting on parts from HWA which they said they couldn't get. But Fix My Appliance stepped up and got the parts for me instead of making me wait any longer. I had an appointment today and the tech was in and out in 15 mins! I would highly recommend them!

If you expect a Flushmate installation person to show up and replace your recalled toilet Flushmate , don't go with this company. They no showed on me twice, no calls, no apologies. Each time I was given a 4 hour window for their arrival. That's 8 hours of my time wasted, waiting around without a result. When I called the office the people were rude, made excuses and offered no compensation as in giving me priority for a future appointment. I'm totally done with this company. If you value your time go with a different company. Flushmate is trying to find someone more reliable to install my unit. I give it Zero stars! But in order to post you must select a star.

Hopefully you get a good technician on site as it was the only positiuve we have had in two dealing with this company. It takes them 7-14 business days to get parts in when they can easily be ordered online and delivered in 2 days. They are trying to save my money by only buying from their "preferred vendors" and it is too save money for them at the expense of making their customers wait with a broken appliance. I do not recommend them.

    Greeting
I would greatly appreciate if someone above your current management could please contact me as soon as possible. I have had the absolute worst experience in trying to deal with your employees/company. I had an appt for the 8-12 noon block for today, July 14. No one ever showed up and NO one ever called. When I reached out, I experienced terrible customer service from the Manager I Dispatch by the name Kathy/Cathy. She was rude and even laughed when I expressed this was not ok and my schedule couldn't accommodate. When I told her her customer service was poor she told me I could always call my home warranty company amd find better service somewhere else cause you all didn't need my service.

I would love to hear from you all.

Horrible experience with this company. My home warranty sent this company out to repair my refrigerator. 4 months later, 4 different technicians and 4 different diagnoses, it's still not fixed!!!

I'm confident they do not know what they are doing! Even the so called "supervisor" whom made the last service call cannot get it fixed.

Now I'm reporting them the the BBB and home warranty company with names, dates, and failed attempts to get this right. I've been more than understanding and cooperative but enough is enough!!

Terrible customer service experience from start to finish. They missed the service date and I had to call to reschedule - after waiting around for them most of the day. When the technician finally arrived (on rescheduled date) he was almost two hours late. On top of that he was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I called a manager at Fixx my Appliance and was run around in circles. Quite an exasperating and disappointing experience I must say! Needless to say my appliance is still not fixed.

Terrible! They have a very rude lady! I told her that I got transferred from my insurance company. While I was telling her that the parts will arrive to my house tomorrow. She started to yell saying that my insurance company did not mention anything about parts!! and I have to discuss this with my insurance company!!!! and she told me if I yell one more time she will hang up. I was not even yelling I was telling her the problem with the fridge. Now, I know this company is one star! I am glad that happened from the beginning so I do not have to deal with people like that. Stay away from this company!

Mark is a great contractor as well as Romario. They were both very professional and did a great job. Mark showed up when he said he would and on time. He diagnosed my refrigerator and hopefully now it will work like new. I would recommend this company.

I called Friday, they had someone at my house the following Monday.
Each time i have called, the operator/schedulers have been very nice and helpful.
    The parts man was helpful.
Each service man has been polite, respectful, courteous, clean and helpful.
Elijah came today, called me when on way to my house, on time, efficient, polite, respectful, clean, courteous, fixed the problem.
I will be calling them again with future appliance needs.

Came out to fix my ice maker and range. Tech Brian put the model number on the refrigerator notes and assured me it would update on the stove and I would have my parts and stove fixed within a week or so. Three weeks later warranty company Home Warranty of America said tech noted no number, and Fixx My appliance closed the ticket. I was put on hold for 16.45 minutes and when someone answered they were completely unhelpful and told me to call HWA who said call them. Both horrible companies!!!

Romario was very professional. He introduced himself prior to entering my home. While he was working on the oven, he explained what he doing. He kindly answered my questions that I had about the oven and how he was attempting to repair the problem of my oven putting off fumes. My insurance warranty company 2-10 contracted this company to fix my oven. I had to put in another work order for the same problem with 2-10 Homeowners Warranty. Hopefully, on the second visit, I will have a resolution to this problem. The five stars are for the kindness of the technician.

I did not want to leave this review but I have to. I contacted Fixx My Appliance for an oven repair. A technician stopped by and provided his diagnosis--I paid the $79 trip fee (includes $4 I was not told I needed to factor in to pay with a card). I am not a warranty customer so I paid the cost of the part and waited over a week for it to arrive. The part arrived and the 2nd technician came by and worked on my oven for over an hour and determined he needed to return with an "oven cart." I paid the 2nd $75 trip fee. He stopped by on a Friday and was supposed to return the following Monday. I LEFT WORK EARLY during one my busiest times of the year so I could meet the 2nd technician. At around 4:00pm I called to confirm he would show, I was assured he would. Two minutes after my call I was told he had car trouble and would not make it--they would reschedule me for 1-5 the next day. Thankfully I was teleworking the next day. It is now 6:40pm and after 3-4 calls--once speaking to the dispatcher and twice to an after hours answer service, I have yet to hear from the technician.

Lamar was professional and easy to understand and work with. I have never used this appliance company before and I has a little hesitant but he didn’t disappoint me.

I would have given 5stars except originally I was given a window of 1-5 and accepted that . The evening before I got a call offering a 10-2 window bcuz of a cancellation. I waited until 2 before I called and was told the 1-5 window was the one my job was listed on.. that was a LONG day..

DO NO USE THIS COMPANY! I was referred to them through my homeowners warranty for a problem with my fridge. They started my service fine but I heard nothing back from them for a week after the initial visit. After calling them and my warranty company I learned that the tech that was supposed to be fixing my fridge decided I was "too far away" and wasn't going to come fix it. They never let me know, they never let my warranty company know, they just took my money and left me with a busted fridge. They are a fraud and a bunch of liars. Don't trust them, don't hire them and DEFINATELY don't pay them until the job is done if you do.

This is one of the WORST companies that you could use. Brian the technician was slightly rude but knowledgeable. He did not properly convey the information of the diagnostic that he gave me for my refrigerator to the office at all. Both women in the office -- Wanda and Kathy (Service Mgr) need a lesson on customer service. Kathy attempted to talk to me as if I was a child and when that didn't work ... hung up on me. I would defiantly recommend that you take your business else where and not be bothered with this company. They don't show up in the timely manner that is promised. Fail to relay messages to each other or give proper information and don't want to take responsibility for their short comings. I was VERY displeased with them and DO NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone. Save yourself a headache now!!!! They received one star because the option to give them none wasn't available.

ZERO Stars.our fridge won't cool below 52 degrees. They sent a repair man who claimed he fixed the issue and told me to go ahead and put my groceries in it. Well I'm glad I didn't listen cause the temp started going up instead of down. He returned the following day and even said to me why he didn't check the inside fan. SMH. Well they were to order the fan and returns 9 days later. He goes to install the fan, well they ordered the wrong one. Tell me please how is that possible if you have the make and model number???? So now it's been 2 weeks since they were supposedly ordering the correct part. We have been with a broken fridge for over a month.
This is absolutely the worst repair company I've ever dealt with. I would have personally never chose them because of all the reviews but my home warranty did.
    Rrrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!

Disappointed at how the service was presented. Came out without getting any details about the problem or model # to the product needing the service. Only to tell us that we were being charged a service fee for them coming out even though they didn't have a way of fixing the problem because they do not stock parts. It would be up to 10days before the item would arrive. I would need to call again and pay another service charge for them to return with the part. Never had this happen before. Typically the model number is retrieved at the time of the phone request , and the customer is informed of the status of the part prior to scheduling the service call request, assuming that there is no part required or they have it in stock. This helps lessen the burden of spending unnecessary money. Needless to say, I found another provider in the area that works with this mindset. But of course I am out the $75.00 consumed by Fixx My Appliance.

This is the worst repair company in the world. Horrible customer service. I purchased my washer and dryer with Sears along with a service contract. I was told my washing machine issues are covered by service contract but as of today which is 3 1/2 weeks later my washer is still broken. I have raised my disappoint with Sears and Fixx My Appliances but still no resolution. My first mistake was purchasing my washing and dryer from a failing company (Sears) and expecting my service agreement to be honored by a reputable company.

As Marla stated in post, I was told the same thing and had the same rude experience with the customer service rep, as well as, the "no show" from the technician

Lamar was a polite and informative employee. He explained the noise my dishwasher was having in great detail. It turns out that the noise was not abnormal and nothing needed to be repaired. He also gave great tips on how to keep my dishwasher maintained and which detergent works best. Thank you for time!

I thought they did a great job. We have a samsung dishwasher that has been a problem and they ordered new parts then scheduled the time to fix it. I only wish that they had been a little more poractive in telling me how long it would take to get the parts and schedule the repair. But their service techs were wonderful they were careful about being cleaning up before they left and took the time to make suggestions on how to clean and care for the dishwasher. They were very knowledgable.
