Happy with the work Jerid and his crew did for our backyard and putting green. Communication at times could have been a little better but the end result is something we are very happy with and Jerid was easy to work with, will definitely use them again in the future

We have used Property Masters to do complete backyard renovations at two houses now and both experiences have exceeded our expectations. The crews have amazing vision, great communication and if anything deviates at all from the estimate (both times at our request we added a few things), you quickly receive a revised invoice for approval so there are no surprises. We have found their prices to be competitive and would not hesitate to use them again!

It was a very good experience working with Jarid and Cumberland Landscape Design. Jarid listened well to understand our desired direction. From there, he provided a top notch design using the latest software to produce a template with real images of the plantings to be used and their positions. Cumberland provided the materials and Jarid had them placed where prescribed in the plan. I found Jarid to be very knowledgeable about plants, soil, and maintenance. The price point and the experience was good…could not have done the design and level of work without Jarid and Cumberland Landscaping. We look forward to referring them to all our friends.

We had been wanting to do something about our backyard for almost 2 years – we had no flat, usable space and what little we had, had become so eroded overt time that all we saw were slopes of mud covered in ivy overgrown bushes. Just a mess. We had 3 different companies come out and provide quotes over a span of several months (as it was hard enough to get that going). One of them was what fortunately led us to Jarid as he inherited accounts from another designer. He immediately offered to come out to see how he could honor whatever had been discussed with us. He was not placed in the best position just picking up on where the other had left off, and we acknowledged that, saying that we would be willing to review the situation with fresh eyes with him. And I’m so GLAD we did.

Jarid laid out a plan that was equally practical as it was thoughtful. He listened to what we wanted and worked within our budget, prioritizing what we wanted most. We wanted to fix the erosion issue and grade the land to get some flatter more usable space. We also got aligned on the kind of look and feel that felt like us. Jarid then brought in his amazing team of Jose and his brother Santos, and others who worked professionally, very efficiently, and were so pleasant to interact with! The end result was even better than we had hoped for, showed high quality, and attention to detail. The backyard was literally transformed in a matter of weeks. The retention walls actually look pretty to me – not something I would have expected to say! Finally, Jarid followed up with us to make sure everything was to our liking
and helped us come up with a creative solution to fill in a part of the fence we had taken out. What I loved about working with Jarid was not only his credibility and how easy it was to talk to him, but his responsiveness and being simple and clear in how he communicated with us. Jarid was a true pleasure to work with and we’d definitely work with him and his ‘A-team’ again. Thanks to them we can look forward to spending time and making new memories in our lovely backyard!

Cumberland has done and outstanding job in our neighborhood, Village at Cobblestone. They service all the common areas and the front and side yards of all the homes. They are very careful to address our special service needs. Our crew leader, Jose is professional and caring about the quality of their service. They are on time, fully staffed with trained landscapers. When there are any issues that need attention, only one call is required! I highly recommend this company!

Our experience with Property Masters Landscaping was great from start to finish. Jake worked with us to develop a plan to refresh the landscaping on the side of our home and address a drainage issue near our basement door. The communication with Jake was great and he made sure to answer all of our questions and address any concerns. Connor and his crew did an outstanding job executing the project and we are very happy with the results. They were very professional and friendly. 4.8 - They did a fabulous job. My yard looks amazing and I'm getting compliments all the time. Cesar and his crew were very friendly. They did a great job handling the flow/schedule of the work once they started and were very upfront about cost of changes. Communication about delay in starting was not relayed as quickly as I would have expected. There was no follow up after completing the job.

We recently had Cumberland install a large boulder retaining wall in our backyard. We are thrilled with the results! It is gorgeous. The team that did the work were absolute artists.
They were very careful with the heavy equipment and gently navigated around our new septic tank and field.
Very big thank you to Jake for designing and bringing it all together.

Jarid Todd was great to work with! He's a Sr. Design Specialist that understands client relationships matter just as much as the landscape solution. He went to bat for us to get some plantings covered under the warranty program while also providing a great drainage solution. He even took the time to suggest new plant replacements that will perform better in the environment. I can't recommend Jarid highly enough. Solid guy and true pro!

I have used Property Master for several projects at my current home and for another home in the past. They are dependable and do a really good job. I especially enjoyed working with Lance, one of their designers. I appreciated his knowledge and suggestions concerning areas that I had no clue about. His team was on time and they did a great job cleaning up when the project was completed. So greatly appreciated. I would recommend them for all your landscaping projects. I contacted Cumberland landscape group on 10/21/2024 at 11:10am and spoke with a lady. I requested someone to come to my home to provide some ideas and an estimate for my backyard. I even provided the name of my next door neighbor who recommended them. As of today, 11/5/2024, no one has contacted me. Poor customer service. Even if I received a call now, I would not do business with them.

They need better drivers. Today from riverside to 285 this driver was recklessly driving. Driver kept tailgating and beeping at me. Once on 285 they irresponsibly kept changing lanes causing other drivers to hard brake. Hire better drivers some day an accident will happen.

Cumberland has been crazy generous to our community! Last month they donated a full day and crew to cleaning up the outdoor space at Bankhead Renaissance - a community development nonprofit and church in grove park. It’s totally changed the way neighbors are served there. Thank you Billy, Jim, and team! And of course you keep our Atlanta Westside office and church landscaping in beautiful shape all the time.

It’s been a challenging year dealing with unreliable contractors during my home renovation, but what a relief to finally work with a company that delivers on their promises! Jarid and Alberto were a breath of fresh air, designing a beautiful yard for my kids to enjoy. Their team was friendly, punctual, and professional throughout. This experience has been a pleasure from start to finish. Thank you, Jarid, Alberto and Cumberland Landscape!

The only reason I know about this company, unfortunately, is because of their truck driver I ran into today. Earlier this evening as I was driving home on Windy Hill Rd in Smyrna GA, I was signaling to turn into the left turning lane and a truck cuts me off from 2 lanes over and speeds ahead of me into the turning lane. They will remember me because I was the one honking at them for 30 seconds straight for their dangerous stunt. I see I am not the first one to complain about the driver. Please improve drivers for our safety and theirs. Thank you for reading and good luck on your business.

Cumberland just completed my Courtyard in Woodstock Ga! They did an incredible job. Jarid, Angelo and Billy are great people that represents a great company.

I hired Cumberland Landscape Group at a community I manage in Stonecrest. They were hired in January and I will say at first I was very happy and impressed. As the months went on, the services went down and I had to constantly deal with complaints from my homeowners about the basic lawn care items, like cutting grass, edging, shrubbery trimming along with them missing areas all together that was included in the contract. Alex the rep for Cumberland was excellent at the beginning with handling the numerous complaints on a daily basis. After I terminated the contract in July due to poor service and the complaints increasing, the service from Alex became almost non existent. All of the communications that he was so great about, ceased and I was told that those services were not in the contract and provided as a courtesy.

I personally would not have left a review, if I was treated so poorly when I had no choice but to end the contract due to the services provided not getting better but worst.

This is not good business or customer service practices. Things sometimes don’t work out but to take the approach of I will no longer offer the same services I had been offering for 7 months without a conversation is not a company, I want to deal with ever again.

I feel like Cumberland overall is a good company but there needs to be checks and balances of the crews they hire to do the work. If you’re getting weekly complaints, then there needs to be someone there to oversee the work until that crew is doing their job to the satisfaction of the client.

If you elect to do business with Cumberland, my suggestion is put a 6month clause in the contract and get everything you expect in writing. They agree to things verbally to get your business, but then get amnesia when you call them about why something is not done.

Also do not use them for weed control. I have more weeds in my community common areas than I have ever had. When asked, what are your plans to make this right, you’re given some rhetoric but nothing is done to rectify it.

Lazy employees, the leaf blower did not do his job that he's paid to do!...and it's not the first time! Cutting corners, that's bad business!

The team was timely and efficient and very easy to work with. Can’t say enough good things about them. Also did a marvelous cleanup job after installation. Highly recommend!

Cumberland team and our account manager, Alexander Zunno, have been great to work with! Alex is super responsive and professional, and the crew does really solid, detailed work. We were so happy with the results that we hired them for another site too.

After having to unexpectedly replace our septic system at our new home, our yard was left a horrible mess. Jarid came out and came up with a lovely plan for sod, plants, and transplanting the existing plants that were a mess. Our foreman Alberto Catalan and his team were AMAZING. They showed up early each morning, always answered any questions I had, left the yard a tidy space when they left each day, and got the job done in 4 days. It looks absolutely stunning and we couldn’t be happier.
