I recently hired Rare Perfection Cleaning for a move-out cleaning, and I was extremely impressed with their service. They thoroughly cleaned every corner of my apartment, from the kitchen appliances to the bathroom and living area. Their attention to detail was remarkable everything was spotless, including areas I hadn’t even thought to clean.

Rare Perfection was prompt & professional...I could NOT have been more pleased! I used their "move-out" service and it was a huge load off of my mind! I would recommend to anyone as well as using again should the need arise!!!

We recently had our first experience with Rare Perfection Cleaning, and we were very impressed. Zurani and Anielka arrived at the scheduled time, and our house looks and smells amazing. Tiffany did an excellent job with communication and follow-up. The rate is reasonable, so we plan to set up a regular cleaning schedule with them.

I was so impressed with my cleaning ladies today. They showed up on time, were very courteous and did the best job ever in my experience. Looking forward to a long standing business relationship. It's so good to find competent, reliable people today.

**TLDR: On October 17, 2024, Rare Perfection Cleaning poured wastewater off my 28th-floor balcony, damaging neighboring units and causing my building to assess a $1,000 fine against me for the violation. Tiffany (owner) refused to pay for the damage her team caused, despite acknowledging that Rare Perfection caused it. It has been over a year, and I have been left to pay $1,000 out of pocket for their negligence.**

BEWARE. This company will behave recklessly. They will cause damage, they will not fix it, and they will leave you to foot the bill. Attached is documentation of this behavior.

I am writing my first ever review as a warning to other homeowners, especially those for whom liability for vendor negligence is a serious concern. I hired this service to clean my home on 10/17/24. While cleaning my terrace on the 28th floor, the staff made the decision to pour dirty wastewater and soap directly over the balcony railing. See attached. As literally everyone reading this is aware, the water did not simply disappear, but rather cascaded down the side of the building, flooding onto the private balconies of my neighbors below and causing furniture damage to the neighbor on the floor immediately beneath me.

The incident was immediately caught by building security. See attached report. When I initially contacted the owner, Tiffany, regarding the incident, she did not deny it. In fact, she was fully aware that her team had dumped the water. See attached text messages. Later, she admitted that Rare Perfection dumped the water, but because they had no written notice that they shouldn’t dump water off high rises, doing so was somehow not their fault. See attached email. In her own words, she admitted to the building that her team committed the act, claiming it was a "simple oversight" and that they were "unaware of the specific policies" prohibiting the dumping of wastewater off the side of a high rise. The appeal was, of course, denied. Homeowners, and certainly a professional cleaning company, should know better than to dump buckets of water off a balcony in a high-density residential area.

This is the *beware* portion. After the appeal was denied, Tiffany’s behavior shifted from slow-playing a mistake to authoring a complete failure of business ethics. Once the fine was upheld, I paid $1,000 to the building. I had to. I then again asked Rare Perfection Cleaning to reimburse me for the fine. Tiffany refused. When I politely insisted that her business should be responsible for the costs incurred by her employees' actions, she stopped acting professionally. See attached. Following that exchange, she ceased all communication.

Two weeks ago, I gave Tiffany one more chance to do the right thing, even reducing the amount I would accept. Once again, she ignored me.

- It has now been over one full year since this incident occurred.
- I have paid the $1,000 fine out of my own pocket.
- Rare Perfection Cleaning has ghosted me and refused to take responsibility for the damage they caused.

I have given this business a twelve-month grace period to do the right thing. I offered payment plans; I offered to settle this privately, etc. They have chosen not to take responsibility, and potential customers should know that. Accidents happen in any business, but I judge a company by how they address their mistakes and shortcomings. This company demonstrated that they are not only (i) capable of causing expensive liability issues for their clients but are also (ii) completely unwilling to stand behind their work, actions, or underlying values when things go wrong. Good people are accountable for their mistakes. These are not good people.

If you hire them, do so at your own risk. If they damage your property, cause a fine at your building, whatever the case may be, the evidence suggests they will not pay for it, they will not help you, and they will eventually stop answering your calls. I strongly advise you to look elsewhere for a cleaning service that carries proper insurance and understands what it means to be accountable to others.
