They zoned my upstairs system and didn’t get the wiring or settings correct, resulting in frigid cold air being delivered when I switched over to heat. Second technician said a new board would have to be ordered. No one called to provide any updates. Third technician installs new board and miswires it, resulting in aux heat operating continuously for 18 hours regardless of thermostat setting until I finally had to climb into the attic and turn unit off at circuit breaker. Fourth service call might be a charm as system may finally be working properly. Something has gone wrong with Ragsdale’s service. I wonder if it has anything to do with their scaling up the business to include plumbing and electrical services. Sometimes if upscaling isn’t done skillfully the core business suffers. In my case an improper installation and subsequent inattention to detail resulted in three additional service calls and at least ten wasted man hours fixing problems that shouldn’t have happened to begin with.
