Would not recommend, charged for a part they claimed was on back order. We ordered 2 and received with in a week. They never called, we ended up fixing ourselves. They were the company who installed furnace. Had to be redone! They won’t refund our 65 for part and when called, they said they didn’t charge us for part. As you can see…they did.

Evans HVAC does great work at an affordable price. They’re trustworthy folks with great customer service. We’ve called them for multiple jobs and will continue to in the future.

I can’t complement Evans enough! They are awesome. I had a issue with my hvac unit a month ago and with in 24 hours of me calling they came out and got it working. Well I had another issue with it a few days ago. They came out with in 24 hours again and were able to tell me exactly what the issue was in 10 minutes. They took great care of me and would recommend them to anyone I know.

Evans HVAC is very responsive. We called because our heat went out. They were able to squeeze us in same day. Diagnosed within 20 minutes. The part had to be ordered and was installed within a week.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience with EVANS Heating & Air regarding my walk-in cooler. On January 20, 2026, after discovering my cooler's temperature had risen to 54°F, I contacted EVANS. A technician arrived at 1:15 PM but struggled to diagnose the issue, eventually adding excessive Freon without resolving the problem. He left to get more Freon, then returned. Despite the cooler's supposed 25-pound capacity (though the technician mentioned it should only hold 16 pounds, and my research indicated around 20 pounds for safety), the temperature remained unchanged even after adding more Freon to what was already in there.

After hours of work and continuous phone consultations by the technician, he added 25 pounds of Freon. When I inquired about the cost, he quoted $75 per pound for R-404A. I pointed out that none of our similar-sized units hold that much and that at their prices, it would be nearly $1900 worth of Freon. That's why, at 3:45 PM, I suggested removing the Freon, as the temperature hadn't decreased, but my concerns were seemingly dismissed. He stayed until 4:45 PM, and I assumed he was removing the Freon, but I was charged until 5:15 PM. I was charged $525 for five hours of labor at $105 per hour. The following day, two different technicians, Jason and Dakota, removed the Freon in just 22 minutes, which made me question the initial high charge for adding it.

Ultimately, I spent $525, and my cooler remains unfixed. It appears that EVANS may need more experienced technicians for refrigeration issues. Additionally, the hourly rate advertised on their answering message is $75, but I was charged $105. Based on my experience, I recommend seeking alternative services for refrigeration repairs, as I feel I wasted a significant amount of money on an unresolved issue."

Enrique checked out my entire HVAC system, and we discussed my options. Since my current unit is almost 30 years old, I am opting for a new one. Enrique is very knowlegable about all HVAC systems and explains things very well. Thank you, Enrique and Evans HVAC for being a company that I can count on and trust! God bless you all.
Update: Evans crew installed new HVAC unit, new duct work where needed and wrapped all pipes. They also installed a new infrared heater as backup, in case of power outage. I feel confident in each crew member that worked at my home and am looking forward to many years with new system. I will always call Evans HVAC for any assistance and will encourage anyone looking for honest, dependable and affordable service, to contact them also.
