Flooring reference for Above All Cleaning & Restoration LLC

Above All installed about 900 ft. of porcelain ceramic tile in our home. The porcelain tile was unusually large, 33 in x 33 in, which makes it more difficult to install. The crew took the extra time and expertise to do a beautiful job. During the demolition process, it was revealed that the wooden floor had been placed on top of a laminated floor, the crew demo and prepared the floor as needed and cleaned up and removed and dumped all of the debris. Also, we had large delicate pieces of furniture (huge Curio and Grandfather Clock) the crew moved with no problem. Also, they installed a porcelain granite medallion into the floor in our foyer which turned out beautifully. Thanks to Suzette for her communication and customer service skills. We (Carolina Hardwoods) have been installing hardwood floors for Penn Carpentry for over 17 years. Throughout the years we have worked with many builders...there is NONE, I repeat NONE, that pay our invoices on schedule and as timely as Penn Carpentry. We wish we had a dozen more like them!

Penn Carpentry renovated the in-law suite in our house on Lakeshore Dr in Lake Claire in 2009-2010 after completing a major renovation of a neighbor's house across the street from our house. My wife and I didn't have the same resources as our neighbor across the street, but Penn Carpentry helped us in every way possible to give us the best product and services for the least price. Briefly, I used their recommended architect to design the project. Their demo team took the in-law suite down to the studs, removed the existing floor. As part of this project, the crew removed a load-bearing wall. Penn via Carolina Hardwoods replaced the floor with an engineered bamboo. We made significant changes to the plumbing in the house, and raised the ceiling in the in-law suite as a result. Penn's drywall and mudding subcontractors did an excellent job. They renovated the kitchen and bathroom in the in-law suite, both of which were significant projects themselves. I requested to do some of the bathroom renovation myself to save money and Penn obliged. When I failed to complete the bathroom project, Penn was there to bail me out. Because I am on the "thrifty" side and looking for ways to save money, I asked whether I could do some of the subcontracting myself. Penn agreed. In all of my years working with GCs at various homes, I have never met another GC who was as gracious and generous in sharing their Rolodex with a client and foregoing the overages they would normally get paid as a GC. After the work was complete, the in-law suite was easily the best room in the house. We used it as our guest room and our company routinely complimented on the fine craftsmanship. There are lots of GCs in Atlanta, but few as generous as Penn. I truly believe they offer the same quality work as the bigger GCs in the neighborhood, but for a fraction of the cost. My wife and I was extremely satisfied with their services at our house, as were our neighbors who referred Penn to us in the first place.

My company has worked with Penn Carpentry as their heating & air contractor for 8 years, and we have NEVER had issues with being payed. The complete opposite in fact. I wish all of our other contractor's were like Penn Carpentry; Highly responsive, honest and very professional. Thank you Penn for 8 great years. Looking forward to many more!

My wife and I have had several projects completed by Penn Carpentry. They are absolutely first rate, and an excellent company. We have an old house (originally built in 1927) and dealing with old and new has to be significantly more challenging than just straight new construction. These guys know what they are doing, inside and out, and their business and work ethics are beyond reproach. Penn has updated almost everything, from the basement to the roof of our old home, and enough years have gone by on the different projects that we know the work was only the highest quality. My wife is a registered architect, and very knowledgeable about how work should be done. Penn’s work has been consistently outstanding and we have not hesitated to recommend them to friends (all of whom have come back to us with excellent reviews) and to call them back whenever we come up with another project for our own house. They have our highest recommendation.

We used Woodology to make a custom surround for a new 48" refrigerator, and also to make two new cabinets to match our current cabinets. They were awesome to work with, and completed all the work beautifully. The new cabinets are a great match, and the refrigerator surround is sleek and attractive. We found it necessary to add on a couple of tasks during the project (things we had not foreseen), and they had no problem with that. You won't meet two nicer, very talented guys.
