KK responded withing 8 hours of my initial call and the tech was excellent - good job. So far, the fix completed has bee fantastic.

Had 3 splits installed. Kent and his crew were awesome. We had an issue after a few days with some drainage fittings and Kent came out at the end of the day and took care of it. awesome customer service.

Update- All units working flawlessly, just installed 3 more units to complete the house. Great service and awesome workers. Also had a 1 year maintenance cleaning and they are just like new.

What can I say? Kent and his crew are great. KK Air Conditioning “Keeping Kool” was one of the few (as well as the first) to actually get back to the various requests for a quote that we’ve sent out. I’m assuming business must be booming for others not to reply. Too bad for them, a win for Kent and definitely a win for me and my family.

Kent came by to do a consultation and get measurements for a quote the day after we first had contact, on a Saturday no less, to install a new 30,000 btu split A/C system. He had a very reasonably quote ready for us the following night with three different options in A/C brands which included the complete installation. After carefully comparing the info sheets that he provided together with the quote, reading online reviews, we picked a Daikin split A/C and sent the info back to Kent. An appointment was made a day later for the following week. From first contact to installation in 10 days. That was way faster than expected, but definitely a welcoming factor as we’re still seeing some hot and humid days. According to my temperature meter, it is currently 99.7F outside and a nice 82F inside!

The installation itself took a day. Because of how our home was built (for example, our home has an extension added to it that added some difficulties), and because we must follow association rules (nothing visible above fencing, for example) as well as the fact that we needed to keep certain space clear for a solar + battery installation that will follow soon, there was no real good way to get the various piping running entirely out of view. The solution that we came up with was to place a small stretch of cable gutter (or whatever it’s called) from the inside unit to the area where it could enter the ceiling (behind the inside unit was not possible). As you can see in the photo that I added to this review, the outcome was not bad at all.

Besides the great service we received, I have to say we also love the inside unit which came with a wide arrange of features like various timers, comfort settings, economy settings, 3D airflow etc. etc. We couldn’t be happier, it is something we should have done years ago!

If you are ever in the business of getting a new A/C, Kent’s business is definitely worth checking out!

We’ve been loyal KK Air Conditioning customers for many years, and they’ve consistently kept our systems in excellent condition. One day, while visiting a home improvement store, we came across another vendor offering a great deal on an HVAC tune-up and decided to give it a try. Initially, everything seemed fine, though the visit was taking quite a while. Eventually, they claimed our system might have a leak and couldn’t proceed further.

It was already 3pm on a Friday, and unsure if there was truly an issue, we called KK for a second opinion. They responded promptly, confirmed that system pressure was normal, and identified that the fan speed appeared to be off. They quickly troubleshot the issue, ordered the necessary parts, and even discovered that the parts were still under warranty. As soon as the parts came in, they scheduled us for service that same week. Andre, our technician, did an excellent job, efficient, thorough and effective, and now our six-year-old system is running better than ever.

Sheldon was professional and kind, he listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend KK Air Conditioning.

The KK Air conditioning team was fast to respond, professional, reliable and a high-quality AC servicing team. Myra (office manager) was very sweet and got back to my quote and questions very fast, explained to me whats was included with maintenence cleaning my split AC indoor and outdoor units and was able schedule maintenance with my day time preference in 2 days. They partner with Hawaii Energy and gave me $150 off instant rebate for maintenance cleaning both my indoor and outdoor units, which made their rate very competitive compared to all the other company quotes.

Cleaning day I was notified in advance when the technicians were on their way. The 2 technicians were professional and came on time with their company KK air conditioning truck and van. They were both very nice and patient with my 2 curious toddlers and dogs. The cleaning work was phenomenal, and both indoor and outdoor units were squeaky clean when they were done. 3.5% fee for credit card payment and received an email invoice receipt. Im very grateful to the KK air conditioning team and will definitely be calling them again. Thank you KK Air Conditioning!

I can’t thank the KK air conditioning team enough. Kent went out of his way to help us out of a bad situation left by a previous contractor and everything is working beautifully now. We also had an absurd situation where we thought a high pitched noise was coming from our AC, and he made time on a Saturday to come and address it. It turned out to be one of my kid’s toys with a dying battery making the sound! I was mortified. Kent was very and professional and kind. Thank you again (and sorry! 🫣).

I had a water coming out from the 2nd pipe from the central ac. I just wanted to be sure this is not a major thing. I contacted KK Air again to be confirmed. Kent came out and check the pipe. The system was running fine. Just the 2nd pipe was dirty with slimy stuffs in the pipe. After the cleaning of the pipe. It was fine. Sorry... it was a little thing and I worried too much about it. But, I really appreciated coming out to check on as a free of charge. I felt so bad since Kent has been so busy at work... But, I surely refer your services to my friends, family and my clients. Thank you so much again!!!

KK AC is always great to work with. Myra has great communication and helpful in setting up appointments, and the guys are prompt with their appointment times. The guys are thorough and Kent also dropped in to explain the issue we had with one unit. Will happily continue utilizing KK AC for all my AC services :)
