Home Builder reviews across the US

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Angus & Birch Co for several years, and their commitment to quality—both in service and craftsmanship—is consistently top-tier. If you’re looking for a premium home builder in the Tulsa area, look no further. I entrusted them with the remodel of my personal residence, and they exceeded every expectation. I recommend Birch Co and their team without hesitation.

This place is an absolute disaster. The super has no control over the schedule, heating issues… I mean the address for the house I was working on was even spray painted incorrectly. Speaks volumes about the lack of competence on this joke of a job site. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

There are not words to express how disappointed I am with the house I purchased. They’ll lure you in with talks of quality and a warranty that protects you. However, when it is time for any warranty work, they will ghost you for months and then tell you that what you submitted isn’t actually covered. Wish I had never done business with the company. Learn from my experience.

This is my second Lokal home the I've bought. I wanted something bigger so I bought a townhouse at Parkside at Victory Ridge. I would not have bought a second Lokal home if I wasn't aware of the high build quality. The Lokal staff is top-notch. My sales person Virginia was so patient, helpful and answered all of my questions. The construction manager Leila has amazing attention to detail. I did numerous walkthroughs with her before closing. I've been living in my house now for three months and have zero issues. I think the price was reasonable and the location perfect just 10 mins to I-25 and 15 mins to the Air force academy. I have a beautiful view of Pikes Peak and I am right across from a park were I can walk my dogs. I would recommend Lokal to all my friends. I plan on living in my house for many years to come. I feel that when you buy from Lokal you are not just buying a house but your buying a home.

As a co-op agent representing the buyers, Debi Donner and Suzanne Vaughan were absolutely wonderful to work with. Super professional, communicative, and timely. 🙌🏼

While building another home they cut into one of my drainage pipes for a french drain. I called emailed and talked to one of their managers. His name is kerwin. They never fixed it and just covered it back up. I have a sloped lot which has a lot of drainage from the back yard. Now I have the start of a sink hole. My ground is atleast a foot sunk in in a 5 by 10 spot. I dont post much negativity on line as I think there is plenty. This is a small fix maybe 100 bucks which I will have to do myself since they are too big to care!

The quality of their finished product is beyond disappointing. Leak in my ceiling, scratched windows, crooked walls and trim. We had to beg them to repair the hole in our drywall in our garage. Because it was the garage, they thought it was no big deal. Don’t even get me started with the paint...I didn’t realize I asked to have stripes of different colors (different batch of paint used for touch ups?) on my walls. Glue from granite countertops ran off onto my stained cabinets. Now, they just always look like they have spills on them. Majority of my enamel paint has cracked. No insulation over half of one bedroom. No wonder it was so hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Coffered ceiling in family room has a ton of mud spots that were not smoothly sanded. I could keep going... I did enjoy working with their designer.

Pretty unhappy with the quality. We spent a good chunk of money with them and feel like our house was thrown up in a rush and the finishes are sloppy. We have big gaps in our granite, where the backsplash meets the counter, along trims and walls, and our stair banister has pulled away from the wall. We contact our project manager and she just says that they'll come back in a year to address settling issues. I don't think a lot of this is due to settling. Just poor workmanship. She also infers that we are somehow to blame - that our home humidifier needs to be at a certain setting. Well it was where she said it needed to be so then she tells us that the humidity percentage isn't high enough - like we should have known that. We have also already had water in our basement, which is unfinished thankfully. If we ever build again it won't be with Rodrock.

The group at Rodrock homes has an unmatched commitment to quality. They're communication is reliable and timely and I would recommend them to anyone who is contemplating a homebuilder.

Do NOT buy from Rodrock Homes! Ask any homeowner in Wyngate subdivision about their experience and you will quickly realize they are hated. Their home warranty is an absolute joke and basically nothing is covered. Trying to get them to fix anything that is not quick and easy is near impossible. They take no pride in their work and blow off any concerns you have. Save yourself some time and frustration and pick a different builder.

As a buyers agent, I have worked with these agents and Rodrock Homes several times. Exceptional experience and I can’t wait to sell another one in Sundance Ridge!!
-
Horrible experience. Cut corners to save cost instead of providing quality work. Upper level management could care less about their customers. Would stay clear of using this builder and if I could do it is over would absolutely not use them. Have had more issues than I can put down in one review but every time we have to fix something the common reaction was your builder clearly cut corners and didn’t do the job correctly the first time…:truly mind boggling

Very disappointed in this company. We moved into our home June 2016. From the very beginning we had flooring issues throughout our whole main floor and our daughters upstairs bedroom was warped about 3 inches from the side wall to the center of the room. The flooring company came over several times to try and fix and even refinished the existing hardwood floors but the floors remained warped. Ultimately the flooring company recommended redoing the bedroom floorboard and indicated to us that before purchasing the home Rodrock had let the home sit with hardwood floors and no dehumidifier for at least 3 months. Rodrock Ultimately refused to repair/fix the upstairs room and downstairs flooring. I would never use them in the future and never recommend them—can’t respect a company that doesn’t stand by its work

I like Rodrock Homes. They firmly stand behind their products - their new homes. There were some issues in my house initially, but they were trying everything they could to resolve the issues and make us happy. I would recommend Rodrock to my other friends.
Special thanks to Jeff, Steve and AJ. They are just nice and decent gentlemen. I would like to wish you all a Happy Holiday here! Thanks for everything, sincerely. -
I recently worked with the Rodrock team and I cannot say enough about the professionalism and utmost integrity demonstrated. You can see their personal commitment and passion for the work they do and they sincerely care about their clients and homeowners. Their work is second-to-none and I would give them the highest recommendation to my family and friends.
