We had a wonderful experience with this home builder, and Tiala was exceptional throughout the entire process. She guided us through both the construction and closing phases, kept us informed, answered our questions, and made everything feel smooth and manageable. Her professionalism, patience, and genuine care gave us confidence every step of the way. We are incredibly grateful for Tiala and would highly recommend her and the entire team!

I bought a house about 2 years ago from Winton and all I can say is that their service is the worst. The foreman’s never followed up on the either of both lists that we turned in for all the wrong things that the house had. And every time I would called the warranty office the lady in charge was always in a bad mood very unprofessional and she was of no help whatsoever very unprofessional and bad service. As of now I’m still trying for them to come and fix everything that the house has wrong since we bought it. Never buying a house from them again!!! Don’t buy Winton Homes!!!

A beautiful home. Nice finishes. A little awkwardly placed with regard to the homes behind us. However , very happy with the company and the people-- 5 star. We especially appreciate the quick response and communication on warranty issues. Top notch.

We purchased our Desert View Home about five years ago expecting a quality-built home that would last for many years. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing, and the problems seem to continue getting worse instead of better.Over the years, we have experienced multiple issues throughout our home. The exterior paint has deteriorated much sooner than expected, the flooring has developed problems, and we have noticed movement and cracking in the exterior walls. Most recently, while preparing to install a privacy fence, the contractor inspected our shared rock wall and informed us that the mortar has deteriorated to the point that they do not recommend attaching the fence to it without additional support or repairs.
We were given the option of paying approximately $7,000 to repair the mortar on our side of the wall or paying an additional $1,200 to install independent steel posts so the fence would not rely on the existing wall. For a home that is only five years old, this was shocking and extremely frustrating. Based on our experience, it gives the impression that low-quality materials or workmanship may have been used during construction. A home of this age should not already be facing so many costly issues. Every new problem leaves us questioning the overall quality of the construction.
What has been even more disappointing is the feeling that, once the home is sold, homeowners are left to deal with these issues on their own. Instead of feeling supported, it often feels like the priority was making the sale rather than standing behind the quality of the homes being built.
I understand that every home requires maintenance over time, but I did not expect to experience problems with the flooring, exterior paint, exterior walls, and the shared rock wall within the first five years of ownership. I sincerely hope Desert View Homes takes these concerns seriously, improves its construction quality, and provides better support to homeowners. -
They have to stop hiring superintendent that are incompetent and only good to talk to and lie to homeowners, also they have no real knowledge only youtube school not only becasue they are old and they said oh I was a subcontractors it means is true. They always tell you but becasue covid I lost my job, my clients = he had no jobs,no clients, he stop getting jobs becasue he was incompetent and have no real knowledge of any trade and now you hire this people to tell owners things are ok even though they have no clue or real idea of what's is going on! Homeowners are not paying all the $$$ they do to have a liar talk their ear off. Not only that but they run job sites very bad becasue of their lack of knowledge and commons sense.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUILDER!!! Don't pay attention to the 5 star reviews as they are mostly employees or people connected to the company. There's one employee that gave herself 5 stars lol and didn't even bother to write a different name in her review.
Homes 'look' good at first glance like everyone else has mentioned but they are severely overpriced and cheaply made. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The stucco around the house has been fixed three times since we purchased the property 3 years ago. It is now cracking again clearly indicating what may be some type of structural concern (see photos attached). You can press the stucco in with your hand and hear a crackling sound. This is not normal. Every time the warranty people have come they kept saying it's cosmetic due to the house settling and sun exposure. Save your money and look elsewhere. Three years after purchasing this home I feel like I threw a $300,000 loan down the drain. It's clear they just mass produce homes and try to make as much money as possible without caring about quality. They probably made double, if not triple the profit with me. I unfortunately fell into this trap due to their $10,000 buyer incentive. It feels like Edwards bids their projects and subcontracts third party companies for the lowest price possible. I really don't know how these homes pass inspections. This home builder also has several complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau which I should've checked before engaging in any type of business with them. Do you homework and research wisely!!! -

We recently completed an extensive renovation with Outside In Construction, and they did an absolutely amazing job! We worked closely with Chuck, Aimee and Jen, and each of them was professional, attentive to every detail, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire project.
The quality of workmanship was outstanding. I especially want to recognize Jen. She has such an incredible talent for design and was an invaluable help when it came to choosing colors, layouts, and finishes. I truly don’t think I could have done this project without her expertise. She has a real gift for what she does.
Thank you again to Outside In Construction, and to Chuck, Amy, and Jen for making this renovation experience so positive and enjoyable. We couldn’t be happier with the results. -
My wife and I did an extensive renovation project at our house in Tuftonboro. We selected outside In Construction and couldn’t have been more pleased with the work. We began the process with Jesse, the owner, and worked through the start up phase efficiently. Our house brought some challenges to the process and Jesse and his handled them all without issue. Once we began the construction portion of the effort, we were turned over to his team of Chuck, Ami and Jen. They were very helpful as the project got underway. They had excellent ideas and suggestions, worked with us professionally and never failed to respond to us in a timely manner. As the project ran through the winter we relied on Chuck (our project manager) and Jen (our designer) heavily. We were remote for most of the process and they provided such good communication and updates (including pictures and videos) that we never felt remote. I can’t state strongly enough how valuable these two people were to us and how great a job they did. Two of the most responsive and capable people I’ve ever worked with. Many thanks to them and all the rest of the team. The project finished in over the summer and couldn’t be happier. Everything is perfect and the couple of items that needed a little more effort were addressed immediately and without any hesitation. Certainly a five star experience for us and five stars plus for the work Chuck and Jen did for us.

We selected OIC after interviewing several GM's in the Lakes Region. We consider owner, Jesse Lindland to be customer-oriented, very competent, has excellent communication skills and most importantly is extremely responsive. He and his OIC Team worked based on our schedule from 2013 to 2018 to renovate our seasonal "camp" to a very elegant and comfortable home. I have included below only a few pictures of their extensive work showing new staircase, hardwood floors, entire kitchen, window and tile installation. We have continued to engage Jesse and his Team over the last three years for additional projects. OIC provides excellent quality, value and service to any home project and I can highly recommend them!

We added a breezeway and attached garage, starting in the spring of 2021 ending in spring of 2022. Outside In saved the day, taking the job over from the scammer who started it. OIC did everything but the foundation, having to remove what had been started. The end result is beautiful, high quality work. I would give them 5 stars, except for significant delays caused by their PM (no longer there), COVID related supply issues, and weather. I should have escalated concerns to the owner, Jesse (vs to PM) earlier, because when I did - he made things right ASAP. Great company that I wish I found sooner. I will definitely work with them again. Thank you, Jesse and Steve!

I would highly recommend Outside in Construction. They built us a beautiful home on an extremely challenging job site (small and tons of ledge to deal with). Jesse was very professional and fully engaged from the sales process right through to ensuring every item on the punch list was fully addressed. No job of this scope goes without some issues but Jesse took care of each and every item without hesitation. Steve, Heather and Amy were all a joy to work with and we couldn't be more happy with the end result!

Jesse and his team are professional and awesome. Did our first new construction project on the lake with them in 2014-15. We are now on our second new construction project with them. Would highly recommend!!

We hired Jesse Lindland to build our home on top of a former ski area in Plymouth New Hampshire in the southern tier of the white mountains.
Jesse's quote was not the least expensive. In fact, it was higher than the two other quotes received. However, it was the most detailed and we felt more accurately reflected what the actual price to build would be.
Jesse uses Internet tools and online applications that allows the customer to be fully engaged throughout the entire process.
A Project Manager was assigned to our build. Steve was excellent. He became our partner and addressed any and all issues that surfaced along the way.
This is for all potential customers that are considering a home build or major renovation for the first time: No project of this size executes flawlessly. Unexpected things arise. Our build was no different. That said, Outside In Construction addressed all the issues to our satisfaction. This is important.
Our home was built during the pandemic. Despite supply chain delays (materials), our home was ready for occupancy just two weeks after the original promised date. That was amazing. There was another home being built around the corner from us. Those unfortunate future homeowners wound up firing their contractor in the middle of the build, then needed to sue him to get some money back. You won't have any contractual issues with Outside In Construction. They are professional and take pride in their work. -
We had OIC build a 1500 sf addition to our existing home on the lake of a master suite with bath, kitchen, and large family room with custom windows plus a 700 sf garage. It included a new septic, full basement, decks and whole home generator. We have the highest regard for Jesse and his team. Jesse is a straight shooter, very fair, and is very knowledgable. He designed our addition and incorporated all the details we envisioned, while making suggestions to keep us in the budget we needed. The project budget and timeline were reasonable. OIC staff aim for, and deliver, a high level of quality down to the smallest detail. The transition to the existing house is seamless and well done. And after construction was completed, warranty service was quickly addressed. We feel blessed and proud to live in our beautiful home. We highly recommend OIC with without reservation.

Our recent kitchen remodel was an extremely positive experience. Our remodeled kitchen works great and looks wonderful. I couldn't be happier. The cabinets and countertops are beautiful. The work was minimally disruptive to our household and the quality of the work was excellent. Derek was awesome! He was able to successfully manage to schedule the many subcontractors to ensure a timely outcome. The work delivered exceeded expectations and we would strongly recommend to friends.

I had my roof replaced by AlphaCon, and I’m really happy with the results! Derek, the owner, was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. He made the whole process straightforward and hassle-free. When we first met, Derek took the time to explain everything I needed to know about the different roofing materials and options. His friendly approach made it easy to discuss my concerns. Whenever I had a question or needed an update on the project, Derek was always quick to get back to me. It was reassuring to know I could reach out anytime and get a timely response. The crew that worked on my roof was professional and efficient. I appreciated that they kept the area clean and safe, which is important to me because I have 2 dogs that spend alot of time in the yard. Derek even checked in after the project was completed to ensure everything was to my liking, which shows how much they care about their customers. Overall, I highly recommend AlphaCon for anyone in need of roofing services. They combine great workmanship with outstanding customer service!

Alphacon did an AMZING job on our 2nd story, 12x16 composite deck! The crew was punctual and professional, and cleaned up after themselves at the end if each day like they were never there. It's so nice to have a dependable contractor when you need one!

We hired Derek of Alphacon LLC to do a rather emotional complete remodel of my husband's late grandparents home, now ours. When meeting with various contractors, it was extremely important that the reno would be done in a respectful manner & also that our vision was understood clearly as we would be living 80+ miles from the house & not there to check in daily.
To say our vision was brought to life is an understatement. Derek was extremely easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. The work ethic of him and his crew, incredible! We did not experience any delays as they worked around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. In fact, they finished early!
We are so happy with our new home have received MANY complimentson the quality of his work. We will definitely be calling Derek first for any future projects! -
After being referred by a friend, doing some research, and meeting with Derek, the owner, we hired AlphaCon to help build our new home. He helped facilitate the design as well, with a wonderful architect.
We were new to the process, and from the beginning, Derek made it an easy one. He even went as far as helping us choose the best of the available lots to build on, taking into consideration the slope of land, how much ledge, location, views, etc.
He took the time to really listen to what we wanted functionality and style-wise. There is a really nice aesthetic in our neighborhood, and we wanted to balance that with our desire to not have anything too ostentatious or too big, it’s our forever home, and it was built with aging and upkeep needs in mind. Derek did a phenomenal job making our home fit in, while maintaining a beautiful uniqueness about it.
He answered any questions we had (and there were a lot!) and offered valuable and candid feedback based on his years of experience, which we appreciated.
His crew was very friendly, and the construction site was always clean and tidy. His son, Noah is learning the business. And if Derek wasn’t on site overseeing things, Noah (who is very polite and personable) would often be there. The quality of their work is exceptional.
It didn’t hurt that their family has a ridiculously goofy and adorable “job dog” named Vito that sometimes accompanied them.
In all seriousness, the thing we appreciated most about Derek was the pride he takes in his work, and his attention to detail. If things weren’t going as planned (as was expected by us during the build) or needed adjustments (mostly because I’m pretty particular), he was on top of it. We asked for a couple of features that were new to Derek (a heated driveway for example) and he embraced the idea of learning something different. Based on his quality of work and high expectations of his subcontractors, we were confident with how things would turn out in spite of the lack of experience with those particular things.
He came up with small, thoughtful ways to make our home even better and more aesthetically pleasing than we imagined.
It took several months to construct, and the time and care was well worth the wait. We weren’t interested in getting into a cookie-cutter home as quickly as possible, we were interested in having a fully custom, well-built home. That was what was promised, and that was what was delivered.
We finished up most things this fall, and some things weren’t quite to his standards, (the lawn didn’t come in well due to it being later in the season, for example) but Derek assured us he’ll come back in the spring and make sure we’re happy with the end result. We love that he cares enough to have everything be just right.
It was so exciting to watch our dream home come together step-by-step. We are settled in and couldn’t be happier. We would recommend AlphaCon wholeheartedly to anyone, and without hesitation.
