We've lived in home for eight years and it's been a nightmare from the beginning, had electrical problems, plumbing problems, the wall paint interior and exterior very cheap, exterior walls are cracking all over the place, moldings are warping, Rockwall's cracking. Very cheap cabinets in the kitchen and this year 7/21/26 after eight our two story is leaking because the material they put up on out story supposedly is cheap. A roofer and an adjuster just came and told us this, and our Homeowner won't cover it because it's not hail or wind damage. It's a beautiful model and I it in the beginning, but it was just very cheap. I wish I could remember the name of the guy that countless times promised to fix things and never did. He was a big fat Mexican guy. "Sofia 1-B"

We purchased our home from Edward Homes in El Paso in October 2022. From the start, the kitchen and bathroom cabinets were installed poorly--doors and drawers misaligned, gaps between panels, and obvious workmanship defects.
During the one-year warranty period we contacted Edward Homes many times, by phone and email, to have the issues corrected. They rarely returned calls, missed scheduled appointments, and when subcontractors finally came out, they offered only superficial fixes. One subcontractor even handed us a can of paint and told us to "touch it up ourselves," rather than repairing the underlying problems.
Three years later the cabinets remain uneven and cheaply finished, exactly as they were when we moved in. We followed all warranty procedures and have detailed records of our attempts to get proper service.
Homebuyers deserve better follow-through and professionalism. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Edward Homes to anyone expecting quality workmanship or reliable warranty support.
