Zia Homes of El Paso builds quality homes but also exhibits excellent customer service. When our home was finished, they were very responsive in addressing items requiring attention, which were very few in number. When I use the word "responsive," I'm referring to both getting back with us after we first contact them to completing the required items in a timely manner. I would like to especially thank Ceci Cortez at the Zaragoza office for her professionalism and friendliness. I will not be building another home in my lifetime but if I did, I would definitely select Zia as the Contractor. Thank you

Be careful with this company. They will get you approved knowing you won’t qualify just so they can deny you once the house is completed and raise the price. My family was locked in for a house for $314,000 for 13 months. We completed our final walk through and were told by the “preferred lender” and our Zia realtor that we were good to go. Just a few days later they told us we were denied. Broken hearted we were told to cancel our contract to at least get our reserves back. As soon as we canceled our contract, they raised the houses price from $314,000 to $339,000. It was their plan the entire time.

I have rented a brand new build by this company for over a year now. SO glad we didn't buy it because we were considering it. Almost immediately on move in things started falling apart. Multiple doors are coming off the hinges. Door nobs have just randomly fallen off. The HVAC is clearly installed improperly because the temperature will be 80 degrees upstairs and 65 downstairs. These homes look pretty but they are extremely poorly built. Buyers beware.
