About the business:

Desert View Homes and Aspen View Homes are privately held corporations founded and operated by Randy O'Leary. In 1990, Desert View Homes began construction of single-family homes in El Paso, Texas. Early on, the company carefully managed its operations to focus on the affordable housing needs of the community which it served. Desert View Homes prides itself in servicing the entry level and move-up homebuyer and has devoted its resources towards developing procedures and systems dedicated to customer service.

With a strong desire to provide a solid affordable product to the community, Desert View Homes has grown to become one of the region's largest volume homebuilders, with divisions recently established in southern New Mexico and Colorado. Over the past several years, the company has also accumulated numerous awards and has been acknowledged in national trade journals as one of the "most affordable" builders in the country.

View Homes is a truly exceptional builder. After purchasing in 2016, I recently moved on--but only to buy from them again. The home's enduring quality was proven when the buyer's independent inspection returned zero structural flaws; the only minor notes were purely cosmetic 'life marks' from my family. Their service is seamless, and their warranty provides genuine peace of mind. Thank you for making my path to homeownership so effortless.

Go with another builder respectfully. I lived in a 11 year old home for 5 years and it had A LOT less problem. Desert View homes takes short cuts, rude woman that answers the phones if something is messed up on a new build, I never got the color paint of the walls to match. It seems that they added water to the paint so what's on paper from the exact store is not a match, my carpet does not meet with the bathroom floor and comes up, water dripping from up stairs to my tub downstairs, plumbing issues now called 2 days ago and still no call back. And water from the dishwasher is getting to an outlet and keeps causing me to lose power. You will pay a lot for a home to have problems. I believe your smaller builders care more and are more careful.
