Could not be happier than we are with the service from Green Giant Arborists. Justin assessed our property for risk from falling trees at the same time reassuring us that most of the trees were part of a healthy system. He found three vulnerable spots and actually one of those came down during an early summer storm.
It was easy to schedule a work visit with his team who turned up at exactly the time specified and were fully aware of our wishes. They were efficient and oriented for safety; both personal and with regards to the surroundings. What a show! As one neighbor described “like cirque du soleil” but with chainsaws. They left the area clean and organized; all for a reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

Our Beautiful multi stem Birch trees that graced our front lawn were sick! Matthew Jacobs, from Green Giant Arborists, worked magic with them. Their leaves, no longer speckled, brown and falling off all summer long , have been returned to a healthy, vibrant dark green. Matthew is knowledgeable, professional and conscientious. I highly recommend him to anyone who is questioning the health of their trees.

Limbwalker did an outstanding job removing a large maple from my property. Their pricing was very reasonable, compared to other services. I highly recommend them.

We had Limbwalker prune and tend to trees on our property. They took care of a large sugar maple and two very large silver maples. They corded the silver maples to help ensure they can continue to grow without splitting. They also cleaned up and treated a large ash on the property and even cleared a large pile of brush that was at the base of the tree. Their communication is clear and timely, and their personnel are so friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing is competitive if not less than other services. Thank you Limbwalker! We highly recommend!

Everyone who works here is so kind and professional. They removed two trees that were dead and hazardous to our house and our towns main Street. They took care of the wood and even cleaned up afterwards. They even left a large portion of the trunk so we could make a bug hotel. I highly recommend them. If I need another tree removed in the future I will use them. 10/10.

Limbwalker provides excellent customer service with a knowledgeable and personable work crew. I recently had a large section of pine fall in a winter wind storm. Limbwalker provided a quick estimate on cleaning up the mess but also helped me figure out that it was worth removing the other pine trees. They were very efficient and flexible with my schedule to access the driveway. A neighbor complimented them on their road staging and safety. I have used Limbwalker since I moved to this house in 2003. The money I have paid in tree removal has saved me endless hours of cleaning up branches or discovering damage to other parts of my property. Well worth it!

We've had very positive experiences with Limbwalker Tree Service. They've not only done yearly maintenance on the trees in our yard, but have also been working to clear a large grove of invasive Buckthorn - which is difficult to cut. The teams are made up of thoughtful, hardworking people. Limbwalker always gets back to us quickly when we call and they're professional and pleasant to work with. Ryan was fantastic to work with. From start to finish he explained his services and various options, ending with ongoing maintenance. I wish I had ‘before’ pictures. Ryan ground more than 20 tree stumps of various sizes. He was meticulous. Both with his equipment and my land. We decided to not only grind the stumps but remove the wood chips (in some cases re-utilize), smooth the area where the stumps were, put down topsoil, seed, and cover with hay. He explained the importance of watering and even set up hoses and a large sprinkler. I highly recommend Ryan.

Ryan did a fantastic job. I had 6 cedar stumps, a birch stump, and forsythia stump that needed to be ground down. Ryan was friendly, responsive, and worked efficiently to get the job done. I also ordered 6 yards of wood chips, which he delivered and spread for me. Overall, a great guy who does great work. Highly recommend working with Ryan!

Ryan Chapell sells a vast assortment of soils for all your gardening needs. We bought compost for our new lawn. The compost was dark, rich and smooth. It was easy to handle.
Ryan will accommodate clients with adaptable hours and is conveniently located. And his prices are very reasonable for such high quality. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back for more!

This should be your go to place for compost in Central Vermont. Don't waste your time or money getting compost from Agway, when you can get way better product that is made locally, and for slightly less money. Amazing product and great company. Highly recommend them for all your compost or topsoil needs.

Ryan Chappell of Green Mtn Stump Grinding came to our property in Franklin County to grind out 5 very large maple stumps located near our garage. Ryan was prompt, professional, and meticulous. We couldn’t be any happier with his work and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of stump grinding!!

We’ve purchased 12 yards so far of screened topsoil from Ryan and I’ve been super happy with the soil quality and delivery and find his pricing super reasonable and fair. He was able to deliver 6 yards in one load (and I believe he can deliver much more than that with a different vehicle as well if needed) and he was able to get to us both times within a day or so of ordering. His smaller dump truck also fit great in our driveway which is awkwardly shaped. He’s reliable and good at what he does!

The team arrived on time. They checked in with me upon arrival. They worked steadily through the morning, taking steps to avoid damage to the property. They raked up tree debris.
