Noah offered me his help even though I am typically out of his service area. He knew I really needed the help shoveling because my body doesn't allow for me to do certain physical activity. He is really acknowledgable about his craft. The guy who plows my driveway makes it harder when it comes to shoveling because snow is building up making my driveway and pathways smaller. Noah gave me advice and now I can have a conversation and better game plan with my plower. Noah and his team are coming back to do more shoveling for me tomorrow and I am excited to come home from work and find more areas that I can finally get access to. I highly reccomend Noah. He gladly gets the job done! Thank you, Noah!!!

What a wonderful experience it was to have Charlie and crew redo our entry and front landscaping. Over and above pleasant experience that exceeded our expectations. They kept within our budget and the look of the neighborhood. The difference = they truly care and are passionate about their work. We have that wow now! Thank you.

I would never recommend this company for any landscaping project because their customer service is atrocious! I have tried to work with this company for three years but the problem remains the same--they do not respond ina timely matter to the problems that arise after they have installed the plants. They say there is a one year guarantee on all plants they put in. Good luck getting them to replace the plants that die or are not thriving. I know at least three other dissatisfied customers with similar issues who will no longer use this company.

This is really a shame because the design ideas and the folks that install the plants are first rate. Hire them at your own risk, though, because the management is not their word.

Distinctive Landscaping is a great company. Easy to work with, puctual and responsive to my requests and concerns. They did a great job laying our blue-stone walkway, reorienting and planting gardens. Their ideas were spot on. I highly recommend Distincitve Landscaping and their friendly staff.

In one word this company is incredible! Their design and craftsmanship have transformed our home. We remain in awe of their work.

They started at the front of our home by removing the old, dated stoop, and installing azek stairs and railing. They transformed our deck while redesigning our back yard to include trees and a perennial garden. Their years of design knowledge and their ability to listen to what we wanted have given us a total landscape with flowers all summer long and a wonderful winterscape.

I had a porch built on my house, but had no walkway from the steps to my driveway. From the start of looking at the site with Charlie and Elizabeth; to looking at pictures of walkways and stones at the shop and coming up with a final design; to working with Brian during the building process, I cannot say enough about my experience with Distinctive Landscaping!
Elizabeth and Brian were quickly willing to navigate any hurdle, help me with drainage issues not connected to the walkway and build a gorgeous walk with stone steps that completes the porch in a naturally beautiful way! In fact, my stone walkway is now the envy of the neighborhood!

What can I say. Rich and his team did an amazing Job! We couldn't be happier. Very professional team from start to finish. Top quality workmanship. Rich has real attention to detail and was very patient with us with our many changes though out the process. His team was very respectful of our property and our neighbors. We have had Distinctive Landscaping transform our front and backyard. They did an excellent job, from the drawings to the actual implementation. They built us a beautiful deck and leveled the back yard and planted trees, shrubs, flowers in the backyard a well as front. My neighbors were happy watching the work unfold. Everyone was friendly and the quality of the plantings and all they selected and helped us with could not be better. I highly recommend Distinctive Landscaping if you are looking for high quality, timely, beautiful craftmanship! This is an excellent company, we trust them and could not be happier.

Did a phenomenal job cutting 5 trees down that were leaning towards our house, fixed the ruts that were made and even made a ditch!

They did a really good job taking the tree down! There was no damage to the driveway and it was cut very close to the ground so there is no visible tree stump remaining and I no longer have to worry about it falling on my house

Was very professional and did a great job sanding our drive this winter and showed up when we asked. I wish more contractors were as professional and personable.

Rob delivered a load of Garden Mix for my raised beds - a combination of top soil and Green Mountain Compost - and it is great to work with. Rich, easy to shovel, absolutely no worms. Reasonable price for the product and delivery. Rob is easy to communicate with and the delivery was prompt.

When needing some topsoil delivered to my home, a neighbor had recommended these folks. I called around and they had a good price for the dirt and delivery charge. Plus, being local to my town I figured it should be quick and easy, and I like to support local folks.
I ordered from them Saturday and was told they could deliver on Monday. Perfect. I was on vacation and that was ideal.
Monday morning comes and goes. No dirt.
Call. No answer. Call again. Leave message. Call again, finally get someone (the guy in charge?) telling me they didn’t get the message and couldn’t deliver that day. Tuesday, rain. No delivery.
Wednesday: no delivery and no word from them until I called around 2pm to see if they’d be delivering or not. No go for Wed, so we agree on Thursday morning.
By Thursday at 10:30am - and, now getting used to this lack of accountability- I call. Find out that the delivery guy “forgot”.
Friday morning is a promise.
So, finally, almost a week after ordering this, and now near the end of my vacation when I no longer have any time left to do the landscaping I’d planned, they deliver bright and early in the morning, arriving without a phone call. Based on previous experiences, I had little expectation they’d arrive at all, much less at 8am.
This was, by far, the most disappointing and frustrating experience for just getting some dirt delivered. No communication, lack of reliability, and a 100% lousy customer experience.
I will absolutely not being doing any business with this company going forward - for anything - nor will I recommend them to any neighbors, instead pointing others to Agway or other companies that will actually keep their delivery times.
