I noticed Zuhlke Tree Service cutting down some big trees in my neighborhood and thought they looked so professional and experienced. I asked for a card and contacted them about removing a rotten limb on my birch tree as well as some pruning. Nick came and accessed my situation. I was fortunate to have helpful neighbors that allowed the crew to utilize their driveway to get the job done. Noah, Brian and Justin did an awesome job on my property! This crew was polite, neat, clean, professional and experienced. The price was right as well! I would highly recommend Zuhlke Tree Service to anyone in need of this service. Brady, Loretta and the Crew of Top Notch definitely live up to their name - Top Notch! We needed to do some tree removal to open up some views. From the initial site visit to the final clean up, they went above and beyond to give professional guidance and recommendations to make sure we got the best possible outcome. They were very sensitive to making sure that we kept our screening and privacy while opening up the views. The communication was clear, they were punctual and efficient. The crew went above and beyond, and handled the job like it were their own home!

When we needed a few trees removed to make way for a new leach field, there was no question about who to call—Top Notch Tree Service. Brady and his team had done a fantastic job cutting trees at my mom’s property a few years back, so they were the first and only name that came to mind.
I sent a message on a Saturday evening, as this job was time-sensitive for us. To my surprise, Brady called me on Sunday to let me know he’d stop by early in the week to assess the job and provide a quote. We also asked about taking down a few additional trees and trimming one that was hanging over the house.
Not only was the quote extremely reasonable—much lower than we expected—but they came the next day and got the job done. Fast, professional, courteous, and genuinely friendly, every member of the crew impressed me.

We had 3 dead gray birches in our yard that needed to be taken down. Both Brady and Loretta were excellent with communication, professional, and incredibly easy to work with.

The service was great. We thought we would have to wait a few more weeks, but we got a call and they were on site later that morning. We even requested an additional timming of a huge branch and they were able to accommodate. It was also amazing to see the guys hanging from the trees they were taking down. Amazing work, professional, kind, and know their field. Ryan and his team worked their butts off in 98 degree weather. They asked as many questions as possible to make sure everything met our aesthetics and yard health needs. Even in our initial walk through Ryan was highly knowledgeable of all of the plants and flowers along with the trees.

Ryan and the team were great! They were efficient and thorough. His guys made quick work of pruning a giant horse chestnut tree at our home in Wiscasset. They even asked if I wanted to take more off before they shut down the lift, which was nice. They also cleaned up the branches and twigs extremely well...so well that you'd never guess the tree had been pruned at all earlier that day. I felt more comfortable using Spicer because of a few recs from neighbors and also because he is an arborist. We plan to use them for any tree-related issues in the future. Happy to have found them!

Ryan and crew were very professional! Ryan answered all my questions when we went over all the work to be done. The crew was phenomenal, they worked together like a well oiled machine, there was no down time, they were always busy. The work area was cleaned very well, the brush was removed as if they were not even there. They took care not to leave any gouges in the lawn by using thick rubber mats. I have more tree removal and trimming for next summer and I will absolutely be calling Spicer Tree!!

Ryan and crew did an outstanding job removing 12 buckthorn trees, several dead trees, blow downs, and a couple of brush piles. He stayed with the quote, was able to handle last minute add-on work. I called Petrella Tree Service to request a quote for pruning multiple oak trees on my property. Peter got back to me within 24 hrs, walked the job within a week, and got me a quote immediately. I appreciated the responsiveness and the combo of phone and digital communication. Peter clearly communicated his schedule expectations during the busy summer season and followed up the week before to book a date for the work. He worked efficiently and safely throughout the (very long) day and took care of everything that was needed. Finally, he left my yard spotless. While I knew that he intended to chip and clean up everything, I wasn't expecting the thorough job he did of it. I'll definitely reach out to him again for any additional work I need done and I highly recommend him to others in the area looking for a professional arborist.
