We have used Webster 4 or 5 times in the past few years. Every time we have been impressed by their skill, professionalism and accessibility. Their prices are fair, their workers are friendly, their cleanup is great. And importantly their focus on avoiding damage to lawns is remarkable. An unqualified 5 stars in my book.

We have been hiring Webster's for over thirty years to work on our half acre. This time involved removing six dangerously tall pines that were close to our house and a neighbors' house. They were here for one day and two hours. Their first-rate equipment and experience result in a professional job. We recommend them to everyone.

Thank you Webster Tree Service! Had a large silver maple with power lines on two sides, between my neighbor and my driveway. The workers were on time and very respectful. They took the tree down piece by piece, ground the stump, smoothed the area, and completely cleaned the mess. Price was reasonable for the difficulty of the job.
Very pleased with the results.

Highly recommended. The employees that were sent to my place for this job were very knowledgeable and punctual. They are beyond safe when in the bucket or on the ground. All of their zones were properly marked. I live on a very busy street and this did not interfere with them. I hired them with thinking I only needed a few trees removed and they informed me that if more trees were not removed. They would have to come back and do a second job at a later date so I am very thankful they were able to get this done all in one job. I would recommend for any small or large tree job you may have.

Outstanding service! A tree fell on my house during the 4/2024 snowstorm, leaving a 14" thick trunk (~1500 lbs) balancing on my roof. Webster had a crane and rigging out as soon as the roads were clear and got it off the roof before it could do further damage. Highly professional and excellent service, definitely recommend

Removed 5 tall Aspen trees from my property. Grinded stumps and cleaned up. Piled back trunks for firewood and cleaned the chipped brush. Took good care of my lawn using cover plates.
Came well equipped, right on time. All job from start to finish took about 6 hours.
Very professional crew. Not a single scratch or dent. It was real pleasure just watching their job.

Had a sewage backup from a plug drain 25 feet from my house leading to main town pipe and I called Mike. Mike came the same day I called and had the drain pipe cleaned out in no time. Definitely would recommended Mike

Highly recommend Mike for professional quality work at a great price! Knowledgeable, responsive and does heating/ plumbing as well as lot reclamation/ grinding of stumps.

Mike came to our home to fix an emergency, last minute plumbing problem. He came earlier than anticipated, worked hard, and stayed until the issue was corrected. I highly recommend Mike for heating, stump grinding or plumbing! He is a VERY hard worker as well as trustworthy. His price was half of what we were anticipating to pay for such a last minute and work intensive job.

We had 8 stumps to grind. 3 big oaks (each over 40" in diameter) and the rest were maples (24-36" each). Mike arrived on time, made an assessment of the job, and gave a good price. He was done in no time and provided better than expected results. No need to look further if you want stump grinding. I'd recommend his service and will definitely use him the next time.

We hired Justin and his crew to remove a large old tree from our property. They were complete pros. The job ended up being more more involved than Justin had anticipated given some structural issues with the tree, but he and his crew finished it promptly and with care.

I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality tree care in Greater Portland.

I had a very large tree land in my car and house during Christmas weekend 2022. Justin was not only empathetic but super responsive and communicative on the Christmas holiday weekend. He and his crew worked fast and efficient. He is also handling the insurance company for payment. Finally a business with hometown etiquette and morals!!! Hire this team!!!!!! They are awesome!!!

We had Justin and his crew come out for a day of removing big troublesome pines near our house (with the help of a crane) and were very pleased with the service. They were professional, efficient, and great to work with. Justin was straightforward, friendly, and trustworthy. The climber (John I think?), was nimble and talented with the chainsaw, and they all put in a hard day's work. We have so much more light around the house now, and a lot less sap! The price was fair, and we would definitely hire SMT again.

It has been a total delight to work with Justin and his crew on the removal of 6 old trees surrounding our (newly paved) driveway. Justin's customer service is top-notch -- he is responsive and considerate and very well priced.

We had a high-maintenance project that required a fair amount of coordination. Kudos to Justin's integrity; on the initial removal day, he had his team out and after about an hour of review, he actually asked me to reschedule as it was too high risk to not damage the driveway! Always impressed when a business will stand up and do the right thing for the customer, even if its not what was initially negotiated. Eventually, the trees were removed with such skill - we had power lines, the aforementioned driveway, and still very wet ground and the property is unscathed, all things considered.

He will also go the extra mile for his customers -- when I reached out separately for a hardscape rec, Justin had his contact call me! What service! I'm thrilled with his team's work -- truly a delight to watch these craftsmen work. I will be using Southern Maine Tree for any future tree issues without hesitation.
