There is a difference between hiring a guy with a chainsaw and a truck, ad opposed to an arborist whose job is to understand trees, which are living creatures.
Matt is a wonderful and honest person, and his work is affordable. We have a beautiful oak in the front yard which was deemed "dying" by the aforementioned tree guy with a truck, but Matt said the tree was just fine. He took the time to examine the trees and put a plan together, and it was all done quickly, with awesome communication. I'd highly recommend Matt's service. If you needed a heart transplant, you'd go to a cardiac surgeon, you wouldn't let a primary doctor operate on you. Well, trees are the same; whether it's trimming, or removal, you'd want someone who knows who to care for your trees so that they're healthy, which means they will have strong roots, protect the soil from erosion, and not topple over in a hurricane.

Matt has been our go to tree expert since 2004. After moving from Tampa to Safety Harbor, we wanted to ensure we professionally maintained the magestic beauty of the huge oak we fell in love with when purchasing our home. We called the City of Safety Harbor looking for recommendations, and Matt was one of the few Certified Arborists they provided us. After interviewing a couple, we knew Matt was the one. In addition to our beloved oak, Matt meticulously maintains all of our trees, palms, and crepe myrtles, which have all outgrown our ability to manage since moving in. His passion for trees is only surpassed by his passion for his clients.

Incredible experience with this company! We had several estimates for some trimming we needed done to our very large, very old Live Oak tree. Matt, the owner, and also a Certified Arborist, came out and gave us some great advice on what the tree needed. We felt very confident in his knowledge of actual tree care, so we hired his company, and we are very pleased with the work they did on our tree. Very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. We will hire them again and refer them to all of our friends!

From first look at the website you notice an immediate difference with this company. They actually care about trees and preserving our environment and respecting God's beauty. We had a larger job (7 large trees and 1 smaller tree removed and lots of pruning) to protect our home and new pool. We had multiple estimates, and the first impression of If Trees Could Talk was that they were different. Knowledgeable, caring and not just out to make a buck. Even one of the largest, most respected tree companies in the area felt like they were just wielding chainsaws looking to cut anything for the almighty dollar by comparison.

Matt the owner is an amazing family man who really provides the old fashioned customer service you don't see anymore. He took the time to learn all our names and told us about his family. We were provided with a detailed and thoughtful plan, itemized so we could see exactly what we were paying for. Matt worked with us on the price (their initial estimate was in the middle) further validating our decision.

Matt essentially turned down a potentially high paying job neighbors of ours wanted done as it was not in the best interest of the otherwise healthy and beautiful trees. That really spoke to the ethics and business practices of this company.

Did some work for us a few yrs a go- all good. This year Dave remembered us and said he would be up after 4. Never showed .DId not call . When I called I got the wife who was not helpful or pleasant . Accused me of yelling at her becasue I was speaking loudly -which I do due to people constanlty saying they cannot hear me- I explained that. Showed no remorse for inconveniencing me and being unreliable She made me another appointment and I specifically said please CALL if you are not coming A day later Dave let a msg on the machine saying he did not have time Unprofessional Unpleasant Weird

David is a polite and thorough young man. He came to look at the work, gave a fair estimate (that he stuck to), came to do the work when he said he would and checked in shortly after starting to be sure we were happy with what he was doing. We wish him all the best with his business! A really good experience and things are looking much better around here!

Arbor Mountain Tree Service did an awesome job removing our large dead pine tree next to our house!! Response time was very quick! He was able to accommodate our requests when cutting the tree and thoroughly explained to us his process. Dave does a fantastic job climbing and has great control when placing the trees and branches. Very respectful and professional and truly takes value in what he does. Would highly recommend him to anyone and will most definitely use him again!

We’ve known Dave for SIX YEARS (can’t believe it) and he’s helped us deal with trees at both our old cabin property (which was old white pines close to the structure) to our new home (mixed maple, ash, walnut, pine, birch, etc).

He is the absolute BEST in the business. He is professional, courteous, kind and bends over backwards to make his customers top priority (and happy).

Last autumn, he worked a miracle and came to remove a large ash tree from our garden so we could get them failing garden wall fixed. He had the equipment that kept our structures (home, garage and detached garage) safe and the tree came out clean.

Estimate was quick and he arrived to get the tree removed just a few days later. We were in a pinch with a dead tree hanging over our entire driveway threatening to take out another car, the neighbors house or our garage. A big branch had already taken out my wife’s car and it was clear with more ice and snow the tree was not going to make it through the winter. His estimate was extremely reasonable and the tree was down 60 minutes after he arrived and gone just a few hours later. I would highly recommend Leo for any of your tree needs.

We had Leo come out and take down an old 40+ft maple that had seen its last days. This maple was in a tight spot, close to the house and our garage. Leo did a great job and was quick! Took it completely down in one day and returned the next to remove it. We 100% recommend this company and won’t hesitate to call Leo when the next one needs to come down.

I contacted Arbor Technologies to assist with tree limb removal at my home In Winslow. Leo was very responsive and provided guidance on the removal of a tree that was causing a safety concern. He completed the job on time and did a great job. Would definitely recommend.

I was very pleased with the quote for the cutting and removal of 2 trees on my property. It was less than half of 2 previous quotes! Leo and his team did an amazing job. Leo was a pleasure to work with! He cut down 8 trees and heavily pruned several others for us. He and his assistant did a great job, including cleaning up the whole area after they were done. They even cut up the wood that was usable for firewood. The cost of all of the work was very reasonable. Leo is an honest and easy to work with. I'd highly recommend him to others!

FABULOUS work!  We had many very large trees cut down and not only was Leo and his assistant incredibly professional - and very safety conscious - but they also did an amazing job cleaning up afterward.  They left our property looking even better than when they started!   And, in a world where customer service seems to be a thing of the past, I was VERY impressed  - and relieved - by their thoroughness!  The quality of this work also gave my elderly parents great peace-of-mind and that meant the world to me.  I would HIGHLY recommend Leo (and company!) to anyone looking to have tree work done.
