I connected with Rite A Way after my very large tree fell across my neighbors driveway and into their yard (thank you Mother Nature and Spring storms in St Louis). From the first phone call, I felt like my urgency was addressed and plans were put into place to be at my house first thing in the morning. The team was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and left, not only my yard, but my neighbors driveway/yard, spotless! I cannot thank you all enough for helping me through a crazy time!

We had occasion to use Rite-a-Way Tree Service several times over the past 25 years at our previous house. Had a big job for them at our new home. Took down three trees and trimmed down 12 to 20 others. Got a couple of other estimates and found that as always their price was competitive. All of the crew was courteous and went beyond what we originally contracted for without adding any extra charges. We were very impressed with all of their upscale equipment and how well the crew worked together. Would highly recommend them at any time.

We have hired Rite-A-Way twice and they do not disappoint. The entire staff is GREAT! They are quick to give you a bid and line you up with a date to do the work right away. They are knowledgeable and couldn't be more courteous. They take the time to do the work properly and make sure to take great care of the surrounding areas. I highly recommend them.

Tree removal was so professional given it was in a difficult setting. The were able to remove over a privacy fence and above ground wires. Cleanup was also well done. Thanks so much for a job well done at a fair price.!

Rite-A-Way tree service removed 2 trees and trimmed a few other for us. They did great work, and I was very impressed with the service we received. They were respectful of our yard, and had a good sized crew that worked together seamlessly to get the job done right and in a timely fashion. Workers were very respectful of property. They did great job cleaning after the job .
They did work on recycling pick up day and they made sure my recycling was picked up as their truck was blocking access. My went out if their way to take my bin up to back of house.

Rite-A-Way was recommended to us by several friends. After getting a bid from a well-known tree service company, we called them. Their bid was almost a third LESS than the other company! Rite-A-Way did a fabulous job! They brought plenty of workers to get the job done quickly, ground up the stump from the tree they removed and cleaned up very well after doing that and trimming several other large trees. Job well done! Highly recommend!!

Great service from getting an estimate until the job was done. We had seven large dead ash trees removed and 12 stumps ground up. It was a large job with a lot of broken tree limbs all over the yard after cutting them down. They had it all cut up and picked up every piece in a couple days. Highly recommend them.

Hansen’s did an excellent job pruning and removing dead branches from our Dogwoods. They were punctual, thorough, personable, and cleaned up completely when they were finished. I highly recommend.

I’m not sure they did a good job. How would I know. It took nine hours which seemed long to me and took lots off. Maybe too much. I’d rather the man I talked to checked it out. And they didn’t do a good job putting the Spectrum wire back up. It’s very loose.

In November, I had deep root fertilization fir a pin oak that showed signs of stress. John Harvey had come out earlier to assess the tree. I was happy with the price and work. Thank you.

I recently used Hansen's Tree Service to have a medium Japanese Maple and a large Red Maple trimmed. They have a great service and you can even do contactless if you so chose. They did a great job and I felt the price was fair. I had been impressed by their work on a large Oak a former neighbor of mine had and that is why I called them. I would certainly use them again and highly recommend.

Problem. Gone.

I had two willow trees that grew up big, beautiful and fast and then they quickly became diseased and died in less than a year. After my previous experience with cutting down and digging out my own dead tree that was only 5" in diameter, I said there is no way I'm even contemplating doing this for a 10 inch diameter Willow!

I heard them advertise for a long time with glowing reviews on the Dave Glover show and so gave them a call. They had a quote to me within 24 hours after their estimator came out and looked at my two Willows. From the time I replied to the e-mail (I accept the proposal, please remove them!) to the time the two trees were gone and stumps ground out was only 2 days!

The two gentlemen that arrived were very polite and careful with their work, ensuring the yard was only disturbed to the extent required.

They ground out those gnarly roots and went down a foot or so, then back filled it with ground up matter and soil. They even put back our grandma's memorial stones in the area and in the same pattern they found them!

Very reasonable pricing, incredibly fast service and excellent staff. I will be using Hansen's for all my future tree needs.

UPDATE 2022: Used Hansen's again here just this week to remove a massive cottonwood tree causing all sorts of problems from both my pool and my neighbor's yard.

Super fast, efficient, clean, polite and courteous. Everything was wrapped up in half a day and when they left it was like they were never here. You should have no qualms about using these folks for any of your tree solution needs.

Horrible company. Removed my neighbor's tree, used my lawn for the debris, parked large equipment on my lawn without asking permission, left big holes in my lawn, and left a huge bee infested log blocking my garage on my property. It's been a week and a half and still there.
Update: after calling the company twice they removed the large limb, then they came out and sprinkled a little seed and straw. The person I spoke with said "this is to be expected when removing such a large tree." Except it wasn't my tree, and it wasn't on my property. Conclusion: you will have to repair your own property and expect lots of damage if your neighbor has a tree removed, and don't expect the company to own up to it.

Hansen's had the right equipment and the right crew, they did a superlative job in taking down a 110 year old pin oak. Area was left clean as a whistle. I would strongly recommend them.

The team at Hansen did an awsome job there were a few hiccups but not on thier end amren was the hold up. The tree was removed over 2 days and they left me some wood in a nice clean pile so I could use it for fire wood. Would 100% use them again.

Hansen’s is the best. Everyone’s work is top-notch, prices are very competitive, and their timeliness is unmatched. We’ve been using them for decades.

I can’t say enough great things about Hansen’s Tree Service. From Russ Talley, the arborist who came out to look at my situation and quote me, to Kelly Klipp in the office who coordinated everything with Ameren,(power lines needed to be temporarily removed and some covered), to the crew that came out to do the work, everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. It was a great experience. (Supervisor’s even showed mid job to check on the progress). Plus their qoute was very reasonable for all the work they were doing and better than the other 2 competitors. I was amazed by the person climbing the tree and how he took it down piece by piece. They took down 3 large trees, 4 small trees and one large branch of a Sycamore tree. It took 2 days to complete all the work since the trees were large, and close to the house and garage. They also had to work around an in ground pool and gazebo. They took extra care to make sure they didn’t damage anything. After the stumps were ground down, you would never know a tree was ever there. They cleaned up everything as much as possible. I was very pleased with the results and I highly recommend. I have more work that will be done next year. Hansen’s will be my first call.

the crew was very timely and professional. They helped to return some sunshine into my mostly shaded backyard. Did a wonderful job cleaning up, and best of all, had my grandaughter in awe as they went about their job.
