Did a great job cutting down dead tree that was right near my house. Also got it done for a great price! Would definitely hire them again.

They were able to come do the job on short notice! They gave us the best estimate than 3 other places. They did a great job, they completed the job quickly, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. I couldn't be more satisfied with our experience! I will definitely keep their number for future work we may need!

Dave removed a 59 year old American Basswood tree, plus 2 other large trees plus trimmed 3 others. He and the crew were friendly, respectful and professional. They did excellent work. The cleanup was above and beyond our expectations, also! We recommend them highly!

Proman Tree Service did a great job removing a large oak tree from our back yard. Dave is very friendly and easy to work with. They did an excellent job cleaning up the tree debris and saw dust, and actually left our yard cleaner than they found it. Oh, and their price was 33% lower than that other tree service that has their own monster truck! I would definitely hire them again!

I contacted 7 different tree removal services and only two returned my calls. PTS was the first to provide a bid and was the lowest. He stayed in contact via text until I had the money to schedule the service. The guys worked quickly and cleaned up well after they were done. It was a large tree that hung over the house and deck. There was not any damage to my property after they were done.

If your going to represent this company on your white jeep Cherokee make a sure you don’t run people out of their lane on the road and not apologize for it. absolute ignorance 👎🏻

I will start by saying that they arrived on time and removed the tree that was to be removed as requested and trimmed dead branches off of two others. That is about all the good I can say. When they arrived at 6:40 am they did not knock or ask to come into the yard(tree was in the back). They began work without any contact with us. They also left without acknowledging the work was complete. Web work from home and were not able to stand by and watch their every move, bad on us. In their wake they left quite the trail of evidence that they were in fact there. I filled two full wheelbarrows full of limbs...not little branches and twigs...limbs. A bird feeder was left tossed off of healthy branches on the ground. The plastic ribbons that had been placed by them on the trees were left on the ground. It took 30 minutes to pick up the stones from our fire pit that were all over the yard, supposedly from dragging branches through it. My tomato plants, not by tree, were partially flattened. Flowers that were by our gate that was only used to walk through, no equipment, were ripped out and the beware of dog sign that was on the gate was ripped off and just left. Had we known they were done and leaving we would have spoken with them but alas we did not. Even a simple "hey such and such happen" would not have left me as angry as I currently am (It was not a cheap home improvement project).

I requested them to trim three maples in my front yard and am thoroughly impressed by how neatly and quickly they brought the three trees back to good form. They corrected a lot of errors a “so called” tree expert left from several years back. I’m having them return in the spring to have a large sweet gum removed. These guys were great!

Ralph and his son did an amazing job removing some dangerous trees near my house. Very professional and responsive. My backyard looks so good thanks to The Tree Academy!

Ralph is so easy to work with and has very competitive pricing. He has extensive knowledge on how to correctly take care of trees and left the areas he worked in very clean.

This is an outstanding business. Ralph and his son provided us a consultation on our trees and he is a certified arborist that was very knowledgable about all of our trees. He did a great job of explaining any issues with the trees and how and why they might be having issues, as well as how to fix them. I would recommend them to anyone at anytime.

Recently hired Ralph and his son to dispose of a tree that fell down from wind and damage and they did a great job--quick, reasonable price, and ground was spotless after they cleaned up after their work! Ralph is a certified Arborist and their speciality is climbing trees--have already hired him for followup work on another tree that has issues. Recommend him highly!!

Ralph with the Illinois Tree Academy was fantastic to work with! He was very responsive, timely, informative, and fairly priced. I had him take down a medium sized pine tree leaning towards a house and he did a great job and I will be using her services in future for sure!

The good: Chris came in with a competitive quote for dead-wooding and trimming ten large trees. One of the climbers (Glen?) did a fantastic job dead-wooding and doing some balanced trimming. Clean-up was not amazing, but it was better than some jobs I've seen.

The bad: Communication was bad. Replies came pretty quickly from the office, but only when prompted by me. The first morning they were scheduled to come, they didn't arrive until after 4:00 and were only able to get two trees done. Then they wanted to bump me to a week later. The second time they were supposed to arrive 'first thing in the morning' but didn't show until after 1:00. They did not proactively offer an updates on delays or timing. The trimming quality was inconsistent. One guy with pole saws was way too aggressive and butchered a favorite maple. Then other trees were hardly touched (literally one branch trimmed on one tree).

Wanted to support a smaller, local business, but not sure I would go with them again.

I called Ballwin Tree Service along with two other companies for bids. They were the lowest and most professional. The employees were also professional and cleaned up everything upon finishing up.

From the start, my total experience was top notch.

When Matt came by to bid my job, I asked about his company's bonding and insurance. Later that evening, when he emailed the bid he included attachments for bonding and for insurance. Other companies required repeated calls for the information.

The crew was prompt, expert,and followed the requests I had.

The job site was raked, blown and swept when they finished.

In the future Ballwin Tree Service will get my call for any work that I need. I give them my highest recommendation.

Great experience, quote to project completion was less than 48 hours. Great crew, great cleanup. Would recommend for any tree trimming needs.

Called these guys because a huge branch (which was a size of a regular tree) had fallen on my neighbor’s trampoline and also I needed I huge pile of branches that I had cut taken away. They were able to fit me in between two jobs. They arrived and did a great job for a fair price. They did everything I asked and the pile of dead old branches left a lot of tiny debris and they cleaned up after themselves. There was no debris anywhere when they left. I and my neighbor will be having them come out again to trim our other trees.
