I have worked with Simmons Landscaping since 2018 when they installed a new window well in my basement, adding gravel and topsoil to bring it all up to grade next to my house. They also dug a line to carry the water away from my house’s foundation from the downspouts. That work has made a difference in eliminating standing water near my house.

The next year, I hired them to lay mulch in my extensive garden and they have been helping me with that very labor-intensive job ever since. I had hired other companies in the past but their work was always disappointing in that they either laid the mulch too thick or right up to trees and plants, killing them by suffocating their roots. Simmons has always been careful with my plants and does excellent work. I recommend them to do large clean-ups and some landscaping. It’s worth your time to talk to the owner, Chris Corney, to see what he can do for you.

I have had the pleasure of working with Simmons Landscape and Irrigation for several large residential and commercial landscaping projects throughout the spring and summer of 2023. Simmons has provided timely, thorough & extremely professional service every time we have worked together. I appreciate Simmons efforts in traveling from Bowling Green to various jobsites nearly one hour from their headquarters.

Simmons Landscape is a company I would recommend. They have taken care of our irrigation system the last several years and have done a great job. They arrive on time, are professional, and always inspect our sprinkler system thoroughly in addition to starting the system for the spring or blowing out for the winter.

My previously used irrigation company was unable to fit me in their schedule early enough this year (I think they have had employee issues/not enough?). So.....I reached out to Simmons and only ONE week later, they came out to my house to turn on the system for Spring and trouble shoot any heads that needed replacement. When we moved into our new home we were confounded by the irrigation system. Chris and his team came out and repaired some valves that were faulty and showed us how to use our new system. This is an amazing company. They went out and did winterization of an irrigation system at one of our dental offices. They were on time, professional, did a great job and included pictures. I will be using them for other offices as well.

From the estimating phase through installation of our irrigation system, Chris was a clear, honest and responsive communicator. He was knowledgeable and understood our project goals from the onset. The Simmons crew showed up on time and was professional and polite. Chris was active on the site, and led his team well. On the days we had weather setbacks, we were informed in advance, so always had expectations set for the day. Our property was left in good condition when they completed the work.

Our backyard had terrible drainage issues and would always flood when we would get heavy rain. Simmons assessed the issue and added a drain to the street. Very happy with the process and quality of work. Chris was a pleasure to work with. Communication was fantastic. We also had them do some grading and grass seeding around a new shed. I would use Simmons in the future and would recommend them to others.
