AC went out and Chris was there in a jiffy. He diagnosed the problem and put in a quick fix. He helped diagnose a 2nd problem which I can fix and was through the whole job quickly. He was very friendly & knowledgeable and the office staff was easy to deal with as well

My home warranty company provided this HVAC company when my furnace broke. We got the furnace working again before they could come out. Well now its completely broke & its 5° outside. Their website says emergency calls are no problem. I have called them twice within the last 3 hours, no call back. False advertising!!!!! DO NOT CALL THEM IF YOU NEED EMERGENCY HEATING.

Update: they finally called me back but at 11:30pm, 4 HOURS after my first EMERGENCY call for no heat. At that point I had already bundled up & gone to bed. They came the next morning & all is fixed now but my review still stands. SOMEONE from the company should have called me & stayed in touch. 4 hours is unacceptable to me.

Was forced to use this company (using that term loosely) by home warranty. Each visit is a $100 fee...which is supposed to cover the repair as well. One visit was ok. Repair made. It was later found we needed a brand new AC unit AND a blower motor in furnace. The AC units were in short supply (not their fault) however every time we called for update they were rude and NEVER did the blower motor repair. I started receiving calls from hw saying I had to take a buy out. When I called to ask why it was because Cool Operator decided they just didn't want to work with us. Sooo, paid the fee, no repair on blower motor, no new AC and they kindly kept the $100. Simple contract law would show that they breached it and kept the money. BEWARE...AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I called Cool Operator when after coming home from out of town, My AC unit was running, but house was hot.
Technician arrived and quickly diagnosed that I was low on refrigerant.
Without performing a pressure/leak test, he added 2lbs of R22 and considered the job done.
Now, 3 months later my house is again not cooling, and the frozen refrigerant line left waterstains on my drop ceiling in basement.
Yesterday I called and spoke with a woman who said they would come out for a FEE to diagnose origin of the leak. This should have been done by their tech BEFORE adding R22 into a system with a known leak. The $350.00 worth of freon was a complete waste of my money, as I am in exact same position as I was before calling this Company.

Just bought my Town House a year ago...so....hadn't had a chance to use my furnace yet....Well it failed the day before Thanksgiving....Saw that the previous owner had a sticker of COOL OPERATOR (unusual name made me chuckle) on the unit so I instead of using who I normally do....I decided to look them up online to read reviews. Liked the reviews, so, I said what the heck and called them. They were at my door when they said they would be....in 60 seconds Chris showed me where the problem was and what he could do about it since he had the part in the truck.....half hour later....BOOM....DONE ...along with additional service I wanted done ...He gave me an instructive tutoring about what what was fixed and the WHY it had to be fixed so I could understand the function the part replaced served.....I LOVED IT!....the service was reasonably priced compared to what I was used to taboot.....Needless to say I took a stack of his cards for friends and family........Bob in Cary

I originally was referred to cool operator by HWA and over the years have had them out to repair both of our furnaces and AC units. I have read some of the negative as well as the positive reviews and the issues raised in the negative I find surprising. They have always been professional and friendly with me and the work done has been perfect. Now when I call HWA I insist they send cool operator. I couldn’t be happier with them.

We worked with HWA Insurance Claims and they sent this company out. Called my claim in on Tuesday, some from Kathy from Cool Operator contacted me in the afternoon later that day. We set up for the following day today Wednesday between 11-2pm. Jonathan had contacted me around 10:45 to give me a heads up he is in route. Jonathan was very professional and answered all of my questions and concerns leaving me very satisfied. He had to replace the fan in our HVAC System to get the Fan to operate on Cool. All of this was covered under our plan so all I paid was the $100 co-pay. He had us up and running in under 3 hrs. Very pleased, and would recommend this company to anyone that would need such a service.

I went to this firm through my home warranty company . I had Problems with AC not working and they were helpful in setting up the appointment soon. Keeping us informed throughout the process .

Chris, the technician is very professional and fixed the problem in no time. Also suggested few tips regarding how to use AC vent settings during summer time.

I had Two furnaces go out in servery cold winter weather. Called Cool Operator Heating and Cooling. Todd was here within the hour to diagnose and repaired the problem in one day. Would never consider calling anyone else. Great service, Great office staff and great guy.

My AC went out 4th of July weekend and I needed a new AC unit. Cool Operator we great! Unfortunately for me, my Furnace went out and I had to call them back. Chris knew exactly what was wrong with it in minutes. He was on time, respectful and clearly very knowledgeable!

Thanks god it was Cool Operator refered by HWA. Our furnace broke and They sent Chris to service it. Hes the best!! he knows what hes doing and gave me important tips and at the same day it was fixed. He even cleaned it and checked everything safe before he leaves.
