Had a great experience with this chimney service! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and efficient. The team showed up on time, explained the process clearly, and made sure everything was done right without cutting corners.

You can really tell they know what they’re doing — super knowledgeable and detail-oriented. On top of that, they left everything clean and tidy, which I really appreciated.

I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality chimney work. Definitely a 5-star experience — in my opinion, this is the number one company out there!

If your fireplace is in need of maintenance or you just haven’t had it checked in a few years Fireplace Freddie is the company to use !! Their fireplace technicians are very knowledgeable, kind, considerate and very professional. We enjoyed every bit of the process: from the examination and bid, to the repair, and then to the inspection; leading up to a test fire to make sure everything was working properly. It is a top notch company we will be recommending them to all of our friends who have fireplaces

I was long overdue to have my chimney and fireplace inspected. Called Fireplace Freddie years ago when I first bought my home and decided to have them come again this time. They didn’t disappoint! My technician showed up right on time, cleared up a gas connector issue he observed and tidied up my faux log arrangement. 5 stars from me!!

The men who worked on repairing our fireplace and installing the new gas log were outstanding. They were polite and pleasant to talk with. They arrived at the scheduled time, and texted ahead to let us know in advance that they were on their way. They were very competent and efficient in their work. They were very careful to make sure to keep all the floor & furniture covered to avoid leaving any dust or debris from their work. We would definitely use them again if we need any additional fireplace repairs or upgrades.

These 5 star reviews are ridiculous.

First of all, they charge $220 to even come look at the fireplace (which is a marketing trick to make you invest so you'll be more likely to pay their absurd prices later).

Then they check the fireplace and make up some cap replacement necessity to elevate the price to an absurd $5000+ dollars.

I got estimates from other companies that were only $2000 or less and that the cap replacement was super simple. I lost my $220 but at least I didn't get scammed for a few thousand.

Do NOT work with this company, they will completely overcharge you and take advantage of your ignorance about fireplace safety and installation.

We had a wonderful experience with Fireplace Freddie!

We did our research to find a company who could deliver excellent service at a competitive price for the conversion of wood-burning fireplaces to gas in our historic building. We were very particular about aesthetics, safety, and functionality and Fireplace Freddie was the standout who arrived at the initial walkthrough with equipment and skilled workers who looked at our project in detail. There were other companies who looked at the project for five seconds and obviously didn't have the same level of care as Fireplace Freddie. The team was friendly, communicative, and respectful of our space. I would highly recommend Fireplace Freddie to anyone who really cares about their fireplace (especially historic ones!) as they aren't going to just give you the boiler plate solution. They did an excellent job, and we are very satisfied customers!

Scott was prompt on both visits. The first visit was to assess the condition of the chimney cap and the second was for the installation of a new cap. The price was fair and the work complete. He made sure the spring loaded damper worked properly and confirmed with me how to use it. The company accepts Zelle which is convenient.

These guys worked SO hard. We bought our house (a 1952 ranch) in 2019 and both of the fireplaces were not up to current code and were basically unusable at the time. We knew we needed to do work if we ever wanted to use them and decided that now was the time. Not only did the company honor their quote from a year ago, everyone on the team wore masks, booties, and cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. We had a very complicated job with a back to back fireplace set up and the team went above and beyond to get the job complete.

Great work! Friendly and professional. Also thorough follow up by 3 rd party to be sure things are done correctly. I highly recommend!
