A few months ago, we had our chimney cleaned by J.R. Lane. He was prompt and professional. I appreciated him cleaning up after everything was complete. Last night, while using our fire place, we had somewhat of a scare with smoke coming into our home and the chimney not ventilating properly. I called J.R. Lane and he was over within the hour. He was extremely generous; he inspected the fireplace and chimney, found the problem, and promptly resolved the issue. In addition, he was very informative and gave me great tips to avoid future incidents. I highly recommend J.R. Lane and Co. I am so greatly I found them.

John called me back quickly, provided a reasonable bid and scheduled the work within the week. He also texted me photos of the work under way. Easy to work with, left zero mess and did a stellar job repairing my chimney and placing rain caps. Amazing work!

Just can't say enough good things about John and J.R. Lane. I had Jon Lane come clean the chimney to our wood stove that had not been cleaned in 28 years and is used daily in the winter. He was prompt, thorough, left everything in my house spotless, and most importantly left my wood stove and chimney clean and in great condition. He was also able to come the morning after I called - instead of two weeks out - and is the most reasonably priced chimney sweep on the Wasatch Front by far. The bonus is that he is just the nicest guy and it was a pleasure to have him in my home.

I was desperate and I got had. The technician assured me he had been doing this for ten years and totally knew what it was and he could remedy it. The diagnostic tool he used was his phone to take a picture of my ducts. When I tried to call Tyler’s air duct to let them know I needed someone to come back and really fix the problem, they told me someone from their management team would contact me right back. I called 4 times no one ever called. Tyler’s is just a call center with a slick website. So mad at myself, I could have purchased all the tools he used for 200 bucks and start my own duct cleaning service
