**Thieves** This company took my money 4 years ago, $465 deposit required to sweep and repair my chimneys, and they never showed up.....THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! (I find it ridiculous that I have to give them 1 star to leave a review, but I'll attribute the 1 star to how quickly they contacted me and requested downpayment to show up for the repairs) #THIEVES!!!#

Great company, great work, very professional and friendly and they do a nice job cleaning up after themselves!

I wish I had read these reviews before I hired this company. I hired them to re-point my patio. Poor workmanship, halfway done and way overpriced.

At first,, I was concerned but quickly changed my mind. I missed the call from the guy setting up appointments. His voicemail was full so I call the office. The answering service would not take a second message. I was given a few options: wait to see if they call back; send an email to follow up; keep calling and maybe someone from the office will answer. If the answering service picks up they cannot take a second message. Luckily they called back. We made an appointment for 2 weeks out, which was fine. The team who arrived to do the chimney cleaning & inspection was so nice and professional. Took their time showing and explaining the issues found. They will be back in a few days to do another treatment needed for major creosote buildup. That explains why my house smells like a campfire and/or smoked meat constantly. So gross! I will try to update my comments once this job is complete. Takes 3-4 treatments. So far, I recommend RVA Chimney Sweeps!
UPDATE: 05/24/22
Unfortunately, our issue was not resolved. The nauseating stench from the fireplace still fills the room and travels up the stairs into other rooms. We paid a lot of money to not have positive results. I will be reaching out to the owner to ask his/her thoughts on what's next. Stay tuned for another update.

I paid up front for them to fix my chimney and put a cap on the top. They came and did the work but the cap was customized. I had to email and wait about a week for them to send me pictures of the completed work. They finally emailed and said they are waiting for the cap to be delivered and then they will let me know and set up another day. The email said should be in by the end of the week. We are now three weeks later and they have failed to email me back after I’ve followed up multiple times. I would stay clear of this company as they lack professionalism and communication.

Flores came to clean and inspect my chimney in a house we recently bought. He was very thorough and showed pictures of what needed repairs. They are very fair-priced and he was able to fix the cracks that day instead of having to make another appointment. I was very impressed with this company and will use them again if needed!

A lurch, with water majorly leaking into my house, I called and Robert and his crew took care of everything. The price was on par and fair, everyone was respectful and answered all my questions. Robert had great communication throughout the project. I would highly recommend this company for any chimney issues you may have.

Amazing Company! I use my chimney ALOT as we have a wood burning insert that gets a good workout during the winter. I was looking for a new company for all my chimney needs as good help is hard to find. Robert was extremely professional and sent a crew out to clean and inspect. Prices were great. service was even better. during the very thorough Inspection, they found damage previously missed 4 times by other companies who charged almost double. 2 years ago, i paid over $2,000 to have work done (Cap, Crown, expansion joints) just to find out that the crown is cracked already!!! I will be calling them again next spring to clean and make all repairs knowing that it will be done right. Give these guys a call for a second opinion because i am kicking myself in the butt for not calling them years ago!!! Don't be like me!

I am very pleased with this company both the employees and work done was professional and thorough. I was able to get an appointment quickly and the two guys that came out were very nice and explained everything to me (a simple folk). I highly recommend RVA Chimney Sweeps to anyone with a chimney.

Great service in no time. Very polite and professional. We had our crown done last year and we have had no problem at all. We have a wood fire insert and this is our main source of heat, we burn up to 3 cords from Dec-March. We wouldn't let anyone else take over. I highly recommend.

They came to do an inspection on a chimney for a gas fireplace on November 5th, it is now currently December 6th and they have yet to reach out to my landlord to advise what repairs are needed to fix the gas fireplace or convert it to a wood burning fireplace. They also told my landlord that nobody has paid for anything and we provide a copy of the $69 check to our landlord showing that a payment was made to them and they did cash the check. I am unsure why they do not want to contact my landlord to discuss what repairs are needed to get the fireplace working or what can be done to convert it to wood burning.

This company is top notch.

I would absolutely recommend and use again. They looked at my ducts & said they didn’t need to be done when I would never have known. They also fixed a vent they was falling out for free. Who does that ?

This team was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I was recommended a more expensive service by another company, but they informed me it wasn't necessary, which saved me lots of money! I would definitely use them again.

Made an appointment for someone to come out and clean my dryer vent. They were suppose to show up at 8am. They never did. We attempted to call several times and text but no answer. This company is extremely unprofessional.

Southeast showed up on time and did a great job cleaning our dry vent and dryer. Didn’t realize how much lent builds up in the vent and dryer. Glad we had them come out to take care of us.
