The next day it poured rain! But no leaks. I would hire him again ... but probably won't have to, since his work is exceptional.

For anyone concerned about Covid, he is vaccienated and yet wears a mask out of respect for homeowners. He takes pride in what he does, and it shows. Jeff at Peninsula Chimney is simply the best. We bought a older home with a wood stove and a brick fireplace. He came to do and inspection and cleaning and found we had some serious issues and was able to quickly quote the repairs and after approval get us on back on the schedule for install. He was able to grind out the mortar and replace it with high quality Heat resistant mortar and install a custom steel plate to protect the old brick back wall of the fireplace to prevent further cracking. He is extremely professorial and very clean. He was able to get the custom made steel back plate made in a week. I can't say enough good things about Peninsula Chimney and I will be calling them next year for the annual wood stove cleaning.

I have used other chimney services in the past but Jeff's service is by far the best. After cleaning our chimney, Jeff went out of his way to recommend that we upgrade our gas fireplace pan because our original pan wasn't working properly. After our new pan arrived, his fabricator added 4 legs so that our new pan is now elevated. We are extremely pleased with Jeff's service.

Jeff's service was a bit expensive compared to other options, but the quality of work was very apparent and the end result turned out much better than I could have done myself. We will use Peninsula Chimney Service the next time we need any service done to our fireplaces.

We had a chimney cleaning when we first moved into our house and was told that we could not use our fireplace. Despite numerous attempts to get a report from the company that conducted that cleaning, we never could.

We finally got around to calling different companies to learn what, if anything, was wrong with our fireplace and chimney and thankfully found Jeff and the Peninsula Chimney Service.

Out of the four companies from who received quotes, Jeff felt like the most honest and reasonable. We trusted his opinion.
