From start to finish they have been amazing. They did all the work with the city and our HOA to get everything approved. Whenever we had a question Tyler was personally there to answer our call and was quick and responsive. All the technicians and contractors that work with Tyler are amazing, respectful, and helpful. They treated our house with the same care they would their own home. They were meticulous and thorough during install and set up. I am very grateful we chose Idahome Solar to help us on our solar journey. I highly recommend Idahome Solar. They are amazing!

From the initial consultation with Tyler and the amount of pertinent information he presented to the ease of getting the financing for our program. The installation was quick and done by courteous professionals. The activation and follow up was what you hope for when it comes to customer service.

We have been so thrilled with our system and the benefits it has for our home and the environment. The app to track your system is an added bonus and really quantifies the affect one home can have.

We had Idahome Energy install an 18 Kwhr battery backup to the solar panel system they installed for us two years ago. As before, they handled everything : design, permitting, installation, and inspections. We've never experienced a contractor of ANY expertise who kept us so informed as to what was happening and next steps, kept so much on schedule, and explained the operation of the new system like Idahome did. My wife and I were extremely impressed by the professionalism of each and every one of this company's management and field staff. We bought an electric vehicle and have been putting the charging station previously installed to good use.
It would be an understatement to say that my wife and I are very impressed with Idahome Energy We would highly recommend them.

Idahome Solar has exceeded our expectations from the moment we met them.

We had been thinking about solar for a few years and when we purchased our new home in Nampa ID it was time to take the next step.

Throughout the entire process, Idahome Solar managed the project and did all the work for us. They sat down with us and designed a system that met our needs for almost total energy independence. We were kept informed throughout the process as they submitted the necessary permits and worked with the local entities to get the project completed.

Once the installation was complete - the installation crew were top notch, no wasted time or effort and they answered any questions we had. We had a few during installation but they took the time to explain things and did so very professionally. Zack from Idahome Solar walked me through the installation of an app that allows us to monitor the system. The app was a breeze to install and Zack had me monitoring the system in a few minutes. It was really that easy.

We whole hardily recommend that if you are looking for information or are ready to take a step toward energy independence reach out to Idahome Solar. I'm betting they will exceed your expectations like they did ours.

I talked to several local companies before going with Idahome Solar. They were the only ones that were upfront about the possible changes to the net metering rules in Idaho. They were able to offer a solution that works with the new rules to reduce the issues or real time metering so I could make the most of the ROI with the system. They where very professional and made the process easy. The only issue I had was with Idaho Power lost the request to enable the system and change the meter. Once I contacted Idaho Power the admitted their the issue was on their side and not with Idahome Solar. I would recommend this company to my closest friends and family. This is a great local company which I like as I can talk with the owner and he is invested making sure the customer get what works best for them.

Idahome Solar did a fantastic job. The installers were very professional and the installation looks very good. They worked quickly and cleaned up after the work. The roof contractor was also excellent. Idahome Solar stayed in touch with me to see if I have any questions during the installation. The bid for the solar and the roof was one of the lowest overall and was the lowest for options I wanted.

I always wanted to go solar but didn’t like the options I had gotten before, so when Rick knocked on my door I was reluctant to even talk to him but I gave in and ended up signing up. Rick Hallock was very patient with me. Idahome did everything that said they were going to do at no cost to me. I’m happy to have solar and be a little more green!

Idahome Solar was awesome to work with. Although there were a couple challenges in the process of application, and permitting at the County level their team dug in and completed a super job. Honest, Professional, Very knowledgable, and complete Integrity. I am proud to show off my Idahome Solar installation and would highly recommend anyone look into this for the opportunity to save on your power bill. They were true to their word from the beginning. I am a very skeptical person and this seemed to good to be true. It wasn't. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Our experience with Idahome Solar was nothing less then wonderful! Tyler was incredible to work with. Our system was installed efficiently & is working perfectly. All follow up & questions have been handled very quickly. The company is easy to get a hold of & has excellent customer service. The app is also very cool, my husband & I check it almost daily to see the equivalent of how many trees we have planted! I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking to get solar panels & create your own renewable energy.

We chose not to go with solar as the position of the panels were mostly on the front of our house. Idahome was very helpful in making our decision. From what I researched the panels are high quality and reliable as well as efficient. They were always on time and easy to schedule appointments. My only complaint is with some of the transparency. The interest rate they had was really good. It was only when I questioned the price competitiveness that they said they could bring down the price by changing the interest rate. I would expect them to show all that detail up front (like if I an paying points on the loan). Also when I asked for a breakdown of costs (labor and materials) there was a hesitancy to provide it. If solar worked for us, we probably would have chosen them, just make sure you understand all the details.

Tyler Grange, was highly professional and knowledgeable and spent all the needed time with my wife and me so that we could understand the cost benefits of solar power, and how it adds up to a huge long term savings very quickly in a short period of time. I highly recommend him and Idahome Energy to anyone looking to add solar to their home!!

If your considering solar I would recommend giving Idahome a call. I quoted with a few companies and Idahome by far had the best pricing and customer service. From my initial meeting with Josh to my official point of turning my system on, there was consistent communication and excellent customer service. Their entire team was efficient, extremely friendly and all around seemed excited about the work they were doing! I am very happy with my decision to go solar and to support a local company like Idahome!

I have a solar system from a different installer that is no longer in business. Recently my inverter failed and I was at a loss. I called Idahome Energy for help. Even though they did not install my system they were more than happy to assist me. Over the course of a couple of weeks they answered all of my questions, helped me with the process of getting a replacement inverter from the manufacturer and installed the new inverter on my schedule at a very reasonable price. I do not regret getting solar I only regret I didn't get my system from Idahome Energy. I cannot recommend them enough for your solar needs. Thank you again for getting my system up and generating.

It took me a while to decide to convert to solar power. I had visited with a few companies and chose Idahome Energy. The technicians, from installation of the panels to all the wiring changes, were very courteous and informative. The sales staff and coordinators were also very easy to talk to if i had any questions. I would definitely recommend Idahome Energy to anyone thinking of going "solar".

So after 9 months of having solar I have not seen a reduction in my Idaho Power bill. I am baffled and don't understand. I will be calling to find out what has happened. I will update my review per the outcome of that phone call.

I want to thank Zack and Tyler for helping me troubleshoot a faulty ECU unit after the warranty had expired. Zack kept helping me and even came to the house to help fix the issue. That is great customer service!

We had a great experience with Idahome. They were always very friendly, educational, and professional. They handled the hiccups in the process well and made sure to give us all the necessary tools and knowledge. The only downsides were things out of their control (Darn power company being a pain).
