Just had Tyler from Idahome Energy stop by to assess the feasibility of adding 12 additional panels to my existing 72-panel system. After talking through the pros and cons, as well as the hardware needed and the associated costs, we both agreed it didn't make sense at this time to add the panels. I was extremely appreciative of Tyler's honesty. Not many companies are truthful these days. Tyler seemed to have my best interests in mind. If I ever needed to add more solar or change up the architecture (like adding batteries), I would certainly give Idahome Energy a call!!!

Idahome Energy did a great job with our solar project. They were all friendly and courteous, as well as professional. I appreciate their working with us on our goal! Rick Hallock took the time to answer all questions I had and explained things to me in a way I can understand. They made doing business with them very easy.

The whole team was extremely easy to work with and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The install crew also had great communication and the workmanship was professional and looks great. The inverter was installed inside the garage and the disconnect fit nicely outside. Nothing looks out of place and the crew did a great job cleaning up after themselves.

IdaHome installed my solar, battery and backup generator experience. The sales and installation experience were great. Because my system had some new wrinkles, it took some time for all of the equipment to operate as desired. Great experience overall - solid savings even in a challenging location! Living in a secluded rural area with limited solar access from the west due to trees and rising terrain, I wasn't sure solar would even be worth pursuing. Idahome Energy walked me through the entire process - from system design to installation and financing - and did a great job explaining what was realistic and what wasn't.
They designed a system that worked around my property's limitations, set clear expectations, and handled the installation professionally. The financing options were explained clearly and made the project doable without stress.

I had a great experience working with Idaho Power on my solar installation. From the start, they really listened to my requirements and respected my time by only reaching out when necessary. Their team supported me throughout the entire process—from helping secure HOA approvals to coordinating the final inspection. The installation itself was fast and professional. The only delays came from waiting on building permits and the net meter, which were outside their control. Overall, I’m very satisfied with how smoothly everything went. Highly recommend!

The process to get the solar panels planned and installed was easy. I was happy with the work crew that did the work. The person we worked with, David, was quite helpful when we hit a snag with paypal getting our referral bonus. Overall, an excellent company.
