This is an awesome company. We had a bit of an electrical issue, called and talked to Fred. Told him the situation and he told me how to fix it over the phone, saving me a ton of money. Anytime I need an electrician THIS is the company I am going to call!!! Honest and helpful!! Yeah Fred for saving the day!!!!

I have little wiring experience and was trying to rewire a GFCI switch. It was on a Saturday at 5 pm and the circuit this GFCI switch was on cut power to my garage openers and various outlets through my garage. Completely stumped with it I called the electricians at American Pros. My first thought was there is no way they are answering on a Saturday at 5 pm but they did. Not only did they answer but offered up advise and the solution to my problem over the phone without coming out and charging me. The electrician even went above and beyond to facetime me to show me exactly what I had wrong. He helped me fix the problem immediately. If I could I would give this company a higher rating than 5 stars and will recommend them to friends and family and be using them in the future for other electrical needs.

Fred is my hero! What happens when an electrical breaker breaks? On a Friday night? You call American Pro Electric and you get to meet Fred, who interrupted his dinner and was over in about 40 minutes. And then when realizing that the standard solution (replacing the breaker) wouldn't work cause your breaker box was set up wrong to begin with, he fixes the messed up box and then fixes the breaker and just like that POWER! Great guy. Great Service. Thanks Fred!

Doing a house addition and needed the main service panel upgraded to allow running a sub-panel. Called American Pro Electric and Fred came out the same day. Discussed what needed to be done and what it would cost. Decided to go with these guys as he showed me he had a lot of knowledge, was pleasant and respectful to talk to, and his price was in the range that I set aside for the task. Day of the work, he was at my house at the same time the power company disconnected my service. He worked a large portion of the day only stopping for lunch. He wired everything up beautifully and now I have my upgraded panel ready for my new sub-panel extension. I will recommend American Pro Electric to anyone I hear needing some electrical work done as Fred did an outstanding job for me.

I don't review many services, but this time I really felt it mattered. Fred, owner of APE was extremely helpful, first on the phone - for free - trying to save me some money (who does that?, amazing service). Later, that same day, he rearranged his schedule a bit and was able to come out and correct the wiring including installing a new GFCI for a hot tub. My hot tub was tripping the GFCI breaker in the breaker panel. This was a simple fix, but his willingness to come out and help meant a lot. My hot tub hasn't tripped the breaker once in over 24 hours now. Pricing was definitely reasonable. Fred is a Master Electrician, and has my business and respect. - Dave

Fred is awesome! Not only a genuinely nice guy who actually cares (very rare these days), but also extremely competent and definitely knows what he is doing and does it well (also rare).

We had a tricky outage of power in our back room. We actually had another electrician from another company come and check it out, and not only was this other guy a jerk, he was overpriced and not very helpful. Then we called Fred, and we are glad we did.

Now, thanks to Fred, our room has full power again! He is now our official electrician, and we will be referring anyone and everyone to him from now on. Reasonable rates, knowledgeable, and great work. Seriously, this dude rocks! AAA+++

Fred did the electrical hook up for our hot tub. He was right on time, very personable, was thorough with everything and got the job done very quickly, all while my two young boys were talking to him non stop! I would recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician!

Fred was extremely friendly and responsive. He was so nice and patient with my 5 year old, who talked to him non-stop. He also gave my dogs treats. He is a nice person, and very professional. He did a great job, and I will definitely use him again.

Fred was awesome, he helped us out quickly and efficiently. It was nice to have someone able to work with a disabled veteran without being bombarded for war stories or snide remarks. His pricing was more than fair and he was happy to give advise and a quote for services in the future. Highly recommend this individual on respect alone, even more so on services rendered.

The work Freddie did was great. Problem is that he didn't do all of the promised work (still needed to put in an external outlet on the outside wall of our house) and the final charge was close to $1k more than he bid without putting in the promised outlet. He said he would come back to put the outlet in for us but never did. We tried contacting him multiple times but he would never respond. It's been a year and now I have to call another electrician to do the work Freddie didn't do. Freddie is very friendly and works quickly and promptly. Too bad there are some ethical issues regarding charges and doing promised work. Not happy at all!

With all the new construction in the valley I was having a hard time finding someone to install an outlet behind our TV and one in our garage. Fred made time for us and did an excellent job!! He even helped me put our TV back where it belonged. He is very friendly, courteous, professional and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend American Pro Electric!

When we met with Fred in 2019, he did a lot of electrical work for our shop; which I believe took about 2 or 3 days if I recall. During this time Fred was phenomenal, he did the work we wanted to do. And he charged us around $2100.00, which we gladly paid since the shop needed electrical work. No doubt Fred is knowledgable, and personable.

Back in Jan 2024, we discovered our circuits were tripping between the master bathroom, and the kids' bathroom. This was rather serendipitous as we were planning on getting the kids' bathroom remodeled. Since Fred did such an awesome job before, we called Fred again, and he came out and replaced the old circuit that was fried. We also asked him to install a new breaker in the extra breaker space so that we could split the breakers between the bathrooms so each bathroom had it’s own circuit. We also asked Fred to replace few old plugins around the home, about 7 total. It was during this time that Fred stated he’ll charge us $3000.00. Even though all the work wasn’t completed yet, I went ahead and paid Fred in full. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have paid only half. After replacing the fried circuit (in about 30-45 min), Fred had to leave for an emergency (no problem, totally understand). Fred said we are good to go since the bedroom and bathroom breakers were replaced, and each bathroom had it’s own breaker, and he'll come back and replace the few old plugins around the home. Should be noted this was around the middle of Jan 2024, and it snowed a lot. I texted Fred the next day, and stated that since the roads were icy, we can postpone, but I left it up to Fred if he wanted to come out; he didn't come out the next day, not a surprise since the roads were icy.

In the following days, we would text Fred (at least 15 different times) to see if he would come out, he would say he was sick, he even stated his Aunt died. Look, I understand life happens, but you still need to honor your commitments. Why couldn’t Fred have a follow electrician help out, or an apprentice?

Finally, Fred showed up at the end of February to finish replacing the old plugin outlets. We asked Fred if he can give us a receipt and a list of the work done. To this day, no receipt from Fred. (We have asked for an itemized list several times).

Now, our bathroom remodel is nearly complete, and guess what? Our bathroom circuits are still tripping! Clearly Fred didn’t do the work he said he was going to do. Our bathroom contractor works with a Electrical contractor and recommended them to finish what Fred didn’t do. And the Electrical contractor’s bill was substantially less than Fred’s.

I would not recommend Fred to anyone. Yes, Fred is knowledgable and friendly, but good luck getting an invoice. To be honest, Fred scammed us. The work he did on replacing old plugin outlets, and the replacing the bathroom circuit breaker, and NOT splitting the breakers between the bathrooms doesn’t seem like work valued at $3000.00.

Freddie was quick to come out the same day contacted to give us bid to connect our new spa. When the spa was delivered earlier than inspected, Freddie and his crew were on the job within 36 hours, the other electrician I contacted took a week to get me a bid and when the spa was ready to be wired they were more than a week out. Freddie and his crew took plenty of time upon arrival to figure out the best way possible to run the new wiring form my panel box to the spa. Once complete there is no conduit showing on the inside of the garage to the outside of the home, Super clean job. The also installed an additional can light in one of our bathrooms and did an excellent job.

5 stars does not seem like enough for this honest, efficient and skilled company. I was previously told I needed extensive electrical work to completely rewire my home. I called American Pro Electric and my initial call and the service call was fast, professional and thoroughly explained to me. My electrical issues were solved in one visit with some minor fixes to the panel. American Pro Electric will be our one and only call for electric work from now on.

These guys were great. They were the electrical co. that wired my house while being built. I called them up to see if they could change out a couple of outlets. They scheduled me for a next-day appt. and charged for time & materials. They were punctual, professional and got the job done within 45 min. I will be using them again!!

We had Energy Smart Wiring complete more work for us last week. This is the third time we have used this company. The owner, Dustin, and his staff, Glenda, Bruce and Gabe, once again exceeded our expectations, and offer very reasonable rates. All of the employees are responsive, professional, courteous, and are just very nice people in general. Thank you again Dustin and the Energy Smart Staff!

We bought a home about 2 years ago and Energy Smart Wiring did all the electrical. Everything is labeled and functions as it should. They told us to call back once we decided where we wanted our floor outlet installed. My wife and I could not agree on a location. 2 years went by and I decided that we had better get it done in case they forgot that we had already paid for it. I called and set up an appointment. Jansen and Bruce showed up on time and were very professional. They had the job done within an hour, cleaned up, and tested their work. Highly recommend!
